현재 인터넷에서 QoS(Quality of Service )를 보장하기 위해 다양한 메커니즘이 제안되고 있다. 통신망에서 QoS를 지원하기 위해서는 해당 응용 서비스마다 적절한 자원을 할당하고 자원 사용을 모니터링 및 제어하며, 이례적인 사건이 발생하였을 경우 자원을 재할당할 수 있도록 지원하는 자원관리 기능이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 차등서비스를 제공하는 인터넷에서 QoS를 제공하기 위해 망자원을 관리 및 제어하는 정책기반 자원관리시스템의 설계 및 구현에 대해 기술한다. 정책기반 자원관리 시스템은 도메인 내의 사용자나 망 관리자로부터 QoS 요구를 받으면 도메인 내의 자원사용량과 자원사용정책에 따라서 내부자원을 할당하고, 이웃도메인과는 QoS가 보장되도록 SLA(Service Level Agreement)를 체결하는 기능을 수행한다. 구현한 정책기반 자원관리시스템은 정책정보를 PIB(Policy Information Base)의 형태로 정책 데이터베이스에 저장하며, 정책서버와 정책 클라이언트 사이에는COPS(Common Open Policy Service)프로토콜을 사용하여 정책 정보를 송수신함을 특징으로 한다.

In this paper, we suggest redesigned RTP protocol that is able to perform encryption of VoIP media information for single private network and between the different private networks. And we conduct a test for performance analysis. Such as SRTP or ZRTP methods have been used for VoIP media encryption. But, the existing encryption techniques have problem that can not perform end-to-end encryption between different private networks. In order to solve this problem, in this paper, we redesign RTP protocol. Redesigned RTP includes all information for encryption of VoIP media. Therefore the encryption is not affected by modification of SIP and SDP information that occurred in gateway. Also, redesigned RTP includes code for whether or not to apply encryption. By using the code, modification of RTP header from gateway prevents. As a result, redesigned RTP maintain the integrity and the RTP is able to perform encryption between the different private networks. Also, we conduct a test for performance analysis of SRTP, ZRTP and redesigned RTP.

For designing the radar integrated data network, we construct the network structure with a spatial hierarchy decomposition scheme. The RIDN can be decomposed into several subnet classes, those of which are composed of the several group classes of radar sits, In a group class, the communication nodes of a radar site are modeled by the software modules formulated with the statistical attributes of discrete events. And we get the analysis over the network through the separately constructed infra group level models which were coded with the C language. After constructing the local area network with these infra models through the proper data links. We got the analysis of the communication performance of inner models and the global network.

인터넷의 보급과 초고속 정보통신망의 급속도로 발전함에 따라 학습자와 교수의 상호작용이 가능하며 학술에 흥미를 유발할 수 있는 가상강의 저작도구가 절대적으로 요구되고 있으나 이 저작도구의 개발을 위해 현재는 교사와 학생간의 인터페이스 제공이 미약하고 표준화된 문서 환경과 플랫폼이 없이 서비스를 제공하는 웹 환경으로 인해 개발자들의 작업이 방대해지고 있는 있다. 따라서 최근 컴포넌트 기반 개발 방법론의 대두로 가상강의 저작도구를 위한 교육용 컴포넌트에 관심이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 컴포넌트 기반의 개발 방법론을 통해 웹 환경에서 구현할 때 적용가능한 강의 저작도구 컴포넌트를 요구 공학 생명주기를 통해서 분석, 설계한다. 요구공학에서 사용자 인터페이스 부분을 가상강의에서 교수, 학습자 측면을 고려하고 비즈니스 로직, 동영상과 슬라이드의 동기화, 오디오, 슬라이드 이미지 등을 요구공학 생명주기에서의 산출된 요구공학 명세서를 바탕으로 분석, 설계한다. 개발된 컴포넌트는 가상강의 저작도구를 지원가능하며. 각 컴포넌트는 교육영역의 애플리케이션에 쉽게 적응 가능함으로써 재사용성, 사용의 용이성과 이식성을 가질 수 있다.

1999년에 있었던 리스본에서의 유럽정상회담을 통하여 EU의 각 국가는 디지털화-지식기반의 경제체제로의 전환을 모색하게 되었다. 이러한 신경제체제로의 전환을 위한 대표적인 육성산업으로서 통신산업에 주목하게 되었다. 이러한 통신산업의 육성과 서비스 보급에 따른 이용자의 권익보호를 위하여 유럽연합은 통신규제정책에 대한 framework을 규정하게 되었다. 규제틀의 주요 원칙은 비차별성으로서, 기존의 사업자는 새로 시장에 진입한 신규사업자에 대해서 상호접속이나 설비병설(collocation)과 같은 서비스 제공시에 자사의 부서나 계열회사에게 제공하는 것과 비교하여 차별적으로 처리하지 말도록 하고 있다. 이러한 비차별성을 원칙으로 벤치마킹모형과 최적관행(best practice) 요금을 권장하고 있는데, 벤치마킹모형은 Bottom-Up형태의 통신망 재설계를 실시할 것을 권고하고 있다.

낮은 대역폭을 갖는 네트워크에서 멀티미디어 스트리밍 서비스는 네트워크의 대역폭 변화나 트래픽에 매우 민감하다. 이런 특성으로 인해 모뎀이나 무선기기 같은 저속의 통신망에서 멀티미디어 스트리밍 서비스는 일정 수준의 품질을 지속적으로 제고하기가 어렵다. 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는, MPEG-4의 미디어 오브젝트의 특성을 이용한, 각각의 미디어 오브젝트들에게 할당되어 있는 대역폭을 사용자의 요구나 네트워크의 상태 변화에 따라 실시간으로 재설정하여 선별적으로 스트리밍하는 방법을 제안한다. 이는 네트워크의 상황에 맞게 효과적으로 스트리밍을 할 수 있고 또한 가중치에 의하여 오브젝트를 선별함으로써 사용자의 요구를 반영시키는 장점이 있다. 그리고, 제안된 스트리밍 방법을 위한 클라이언트/서버를 설계하고 그 성능을 분석하였다.

전자책이란 저작물의 내용을 디지털 데이터로 CD-ROM, DVD 등 기록매체 또는 저장장치에 수록, 유·무선 통신망을 통해 전용 단말기나 컴퓨터로 이용할 수 있는 출판물을 의미한다. 전자책은 다양한 형태로(HTML, PDF, XML) 제작돼 표준이 없어 별도의 단말기를 개발 보급해야하는 문제와 함께 전자책 산업의 중복투자를 발생시켜 활성화에 어려움을 겪어왔다. 2002년 산업자원부 기술표준원은 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 상호운용성 등이 뛰어난 XML에 기반한 전자책 문서 표준(EBKS 1.0)안을 국가표준으로 제정하였다. 교육인적자원부에서도 2002년 '교과용 도서에 관한 규정' 을 개정, 주교재와 보완교재의 구분을 폐지해 음반이나 영상, 전자저작물 등을 활용한 전자교과서 및 지도서를 제작할 수 있도록 했다. 이러한 시대흐름에 발맞추어 본 연구에서는 XML Schema를 활용한 중학교 컴퓨터 과목의 전자교과서 문서 표준을 개발해 보고자 한다. EBKS를 비롯한 기존 연구의 대부분은 XML DTD를 이용한 표준 개발이 중심이었으나 DTD가 가진 제한점들로 인해 이미 XML Schema의 사용이 권고되고 있다.

In the maritime ships or airplanes, users should utilize the satellite channel in orer to use web service. However, the satellite channel is costly and does not give users satisfied response time. In the ship, the users may receive plenty of extra data when they obtain internet news. The extra data may be unnecessary image and advertise. Therefore, they should pay unnecessary data usage charges as well. In this paper, we suggest a proxy model that solves the problem of cost and speed. The proposed proxy reduces the of data through the satellite link by image and advertising blocking, caching, image re-requesting functions. It's performance was tested by a real satellite communication.

현재 무선인터넷의 중요성이 강조되면서 모바일 단말 장치는 모바일 비즈니스 프로세스에서 중요한 역할을 담당한다. 특히 모바일 장비는 차세대 기술인 임베디드와 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 주요 단말 장치이며 개발 대상이다. 앞으로 차세대 이동통신망 중심의 융합 및 이동 단말의 컴퓨팅 능력이 고도화되면 언제, 어디서나, 누구와도 모든 정보를 이용할 수 있는 고속 멀티미디어 통신 환경 즉, 유비쿼터스 환경이 구축될 것이며 향후 이러한 환경에서 모바일 컨버전스 서비스는 특정 시점의 사용자 상황에 적절한 서비스를 제공하는 상황인식의 특성을 가지게 될 것이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 모바일 컨버전스를 위한 상황인식 에이전트 개발을 위한 컴퓨팅 아키텍처를 정의하고 개발을 용이하기 위해 재사용 가능한 컴포넌트를 기반으로 하여 모바일 컨버전스에 대한 분석 및 설계에 관하여 제시하였다. 이를 통해 모바일 환경에서 재사용성 및 이식성과 에이전트 개발에 대한 시간과 비용에 대한 절감을 기대할 수 있다.

A lot of fire and crime accidents are caused to a significant national loss. For example, the network and power facilities in national industry facilities, the fire risk region in large scale factories such as nuclear and thermal power plants, large-sized buildings, cultural properties, metal and steel mills, chemical plants, oil refineries. The development of a fire detection system that can detects the temperature and movement of objects as high-level quality is essential to prevent these incidents and accidents fundamentally. In this paper, the fire detection system based on infrared thermal imaging & CCD camera id designed to solve these problems.
