This study analyzed characteristics which emerged while 45 secondary school teachers observed a video clip about a statistics instruction. The aim of this study based on the analysis was to deduct implications in terms of the various means which would enhance teachers' knowledge in teaching statistics and assist in designing statistics education programs for teachers and professional development initiatives. To achieve this goal, this research firstly developed framework descriptors which provided this study with theoretical foundations to investigate what characteristics appeared in the teachers' observation. Secondly, this study probed the observation results from the teachers in the light of the framework. Therefore, some issues in the teacher education program for teaching statistics were thirdly identified in the categories of 'focus of instruction', 'role of the teacher and discourse' and 'data and technology' based on the analysis. This research inspires the elaboration of exactly what features effective statistics classes have through the framework descriptors and additionally the elucidation of essential matters relevant to statistics education on the basis of the issues.

표본조사 교육의 효과적인 학습을 위하여 컴퓨터를 이용한 다양한 표본조사 기법들과 이에 따른 추정이론들을 비교 분석하는 소프트웨어를 개발하고자 한다. 또한 일반적인 표본조사 실습에는 시간과 비용이 많이 들게 되므로 충분한 실습을 하기 어렵다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위하여 사용자에게 사용이 편리한 멀티미디어 툴과 멀티미디어 툴에서의 한계인 수학적 계산은 통계 패키지를 이용하여 보다 사용하기 쉽고 실시간에 모수추정이 가능한 표본조사 실습 프로그램을 개발하데 목적으로 하였다.

The instruction assessment, which can be a tool to realize a class of high quality, evaluates instruction system and process. The result data of the instruction assessment is analysed and used to reorganize lecture contents or to improve teaching method. It enhances qualitative level of university education. The goal of the instruction assessment is to be a tool that provides high qualitative education to raise students' satisfaction. It is important to improve education service quality through instruction assessment as a useful tool for measuring service quality. The suggestion of valid tool for improving instruction service quality is described in this paper.

The objective of this study was to understand factors of occupational ethics affecting occupational value and educational belief of preservice childcare teachers. In order to achieve this objective, a questionnaire survey was conducted targeting a total of 270 preservice childcare teachers in A city. Study results found that preservice childcare teachers highly perceived the ethics in young children and family out of the occupational ethics, the intrinsic value out of the occupational value, and the maturism and interactionism out of the educational belief. Second, the occupational ethics, occupational value, and educational belief of preservice childcare teachers showed statistically significant correlations. Third, the occupational ethics of preservice childcare teachers had positive effects on the occupational value and educational beliefs. Based on these results, it is necessary to conduct diverse research studies for the formation of clear and appropriate occupational values and positive educational beliefs, so that childcare providers could perceive the importance of occupational ethics and provide high-quality childcare services.

In school mathematics, concepts of definite integral and integration by substitution have mathematical connection with introduction of probability density function, expectation of continuous random variable, and standardization of normal distribution. However, we have difficulty in finding mathematical connection between integration and continuous probability distribution in the curriculum manual, 13 kinds of 'Basic Calculus and Statistics' and 10 kinds of 'Integration and Statistics' authorized textbooks, and activity books applied to the revised curriculum. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide a teaching method connected with mathematical concepts of integral in regard to three concepts in continuous probability distribution chapter-introduction of probability density function, expectation of continuous random variable, and standardization of normal distribution. To find mathematical connection between these three concepts and integral, we analyze a survey of student, the revised curriculum manual, authorized textbooks, and activity books as well as 13 domestic and 22 international statistics (or probability) books. Developed teaching method was applied to actual classes after discussion with a professional group. Through these steps, we propose the result by making suggestions to revise curriculum or change the contents of textbook.

The purpose of this study is to develop a statistical program using data and artificial intelligence prediction models and apply it to one class in the sixth grade of elementary school to see if it is effective in improving students' statistical literacy. Based on the analysis of problems in today's elementary school statistical education, a total of 15 sessions of the program was developed to encourage elementary students to experience the entire process of statistical problem solving and to make correct predictions by incorporating data, the core in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution into AI education. The biggest features of this program are the recognition of the importance of data, which are the key elements of artificial intelligence education, and the collection and analysis activities that take into account context using real-life data provided by public data platforms. In addition, since it consists of activities to predict the future based on data by using engineering tools such as entry and easy statistics, and creating an artificial intelligence prediction model, it is composed of a program focused on the ability to develop communication skills, information processing capabilities, and critical thinking skills. As a result of applying this program, not only did the program positively affect the statistical literacy of elementary school students, but we also observed students' interest, critical inquiry, and mathematical communication in the entire process of statistical problem solving.

Serious games are designed for special purposes of education, training, treatment as well as game-like fun and entertainment. Recently, domestic and foreign market of serious game are growing rapidly. By dissemination of smartphone, the global market for serious game will be expanded for various purposes and users. In this paper, we design and implement serious game 'QUICK REMEMBER 20' for memory improvement using smartphone. We analyze game users based on socio-demographic characteristics and evaluate the learning effectiveness of this game with statistic method.

This study aims to provide the fundamental data of an efficient grading system after identifying the mediate and moderating effects of self-participation regarding the impact of education service quality on student satisfaction. To achieve the purpose of the study, SPSS 18.0 statistic program was used to conduct the frequency, factor and correlation analysis while targeting 310 students majoring in food service and culinary arts & science in 2 and 4 year universities in Busan area. Specifically, the mediate and moderating effects of self-participation were examined in accordance with three-stage regression analysis and hierarchical regression analysis, respectively. The results of analyses suggested that there was the positive correlation between student satisfaction and education service quality, and the student satisfaction was correlated with self-participation in the entire variables, except for the welfare service. The self-participation didn't have any mediate effect, since the ratio of the student satisfaction to the education service quality with self-participation turned out to be p<0.01. The self-participation had moderating effects on student satisfaction, with the $R^2$ being increased by 0.032, from 0.537 to 0.569. However, it was only partial moderating effects because the self-participation, when along with laboratory environment, was not positively effective in terms of the statistic variables.

This study is based on the recognition that the school mathematics education should reinforce the heuristic and constructional aspects related with discoveries of mathematical rules and understanding of mathematical concepts from real world situations as well as the deductive and formal aspects emphasizing on mathematical contents precisely. The 11th grade students of one class from a city high school with average were chosen. They were given time to learn various functions of Excel in regular classes of "Information Society and Computer" subject. They don't have difficulty using cells, mathematical functions and statistical functions in spreadsheet. Experiment was performed for six weeks and there were two hours of classes in a week. Considering the results of this research, teaching materials using spreadsheets play an important role in helping students to experience probabilistic and statistical reasoning and construct mathematical thinking. This implies that teaching materials using spreadsheet provide students with an opportunity to interact with probabilistic and statistical situations by adopting engineering which can encourage students to observe and experience various aspects of real world in authentic situations.

The purpose of this study is to help prepare basic data which is required for married women's vocation career education through analyzing the influence of career barriers perceived by unemployed married women on career preparation behaviors. Research subjects of this study are following. First, how are career barriers perceived by unemployed married women? Second, how are the career preparation behaviors levels of unemployed married women? Third, how is the influence of career barriers perceived by unemployed married women on career preparation behaviors? The summary of this study results are following. First, married women perceive career barriers highly in 'restriction of employment', 'discrimination', and 'child rearing environment' among 7 subordinate factors. Second, married women's average on career preparation behavior level is 3.06. When comparing with preceeding researches which analyzed career preparation behaviors levels of university students, married women's career preparation behaviors levels are relatively higher. Third, there are negative correlations between career barriers and career preparation behaviors perceived by married women. Furthermore, 'preparation/skill lack' and 'child rearing environment' factors among 7 subordinate factors of career barriers brought out negative effects on career preparation behaviors. 'Restriction of employment' factor, however, gives positive effects on career preparation behaviors. It showed that 7 subordinate factors of career barriers include 14% of career preparation behaviors.
