What We Want for Virtual Humans: Classification of Consumer Expectation Value on Virtual Influencer by Age Based on Q-methodology (가상 인간에 대한 우리들이 원하는 모습: Q방법론을 기반으로 한 연령대에 따른 소비자 기대 가치 분류)

  • This study focuses on consumers' perceptions of virtual influencers, which many companies recently used for marketing. This study uses the Q methodology to derive what kind of perception consumers have about virtual influencers who work with various appearances, background stories, and worldviews as components. In addition, we want to see how the expected value of virtual influencers differs by age group. To this end, 34 statements were produced through preliminary interviews and literature reviews. This study showed that some consumers preferred appearances similar to humans, despite recognizing that virtual influencers are fictional characters. Some other consumers preferred to feel like a fictional character by maintaining virtuality, confirming that there are both opposite consumers. In addition, consumers expect virtual influencers to have consistency and expertise in the content field covered, and some consumers do not prefer to show an overly commercial appearance. This study will likely provide implications for companies that want to utilize virtual influencers in considering which ones to use for target customers in marketing activities.

  • This study was conducted to improve the education method for improving perception awareness of the visually-impaired. 'Hear me later' was designed and implemented based on VR content that allows the visually-impaired experience in the eyes and environment. The main target is from middle and high school students to adolescents in their twenties. It is consisted of a student, the user's daily life with waking up at home in the morning, going to school, taking classes at school, and disembarking home late in the dark. In addition, 10 quests are placed on each map to induce users' participation and activity. These quests are a daily activity for non-disabled people, but it is an activity to experience uncomfortable activity for visually impaired people. In order to verify the effect of 'Hear me later', 8 participants in their early teens to early 20s' perception of visually impaired people was measured through pre and post evaluation of VR contents experience. In order to verify the effect of'Hear me later', 8 participants in their early teens to early 20s' perception of visually impaired people was measured through pre-post evaluation of VR experiences. As a result, it was found that in the post-evaluation of VR contents experience, the perception of the visually impaired was increased by 30% compared to the pre-evaluation. In particular, misunderstandings and changes in prejudice toward the visually impaired were remarkable. Through this study, the possibility of a VR-based disability experience education program that can freely construct space-time and maximize the experience was verified. In addition, it laid the foundation to expand it to various fields of improvement of the disabled.

Analysis on Topokki Franchise Industry and Its Proactive Activities: Focused on Kukdae Toppokki (떡볶이 프랜차이즈 산업의 분석과 그에 따른 선제적 대응 방안: 국대떡볶이를 중심으로)

  • This research was conducted on the purpose of seeking the measures of how to cope with the changing industry of Topokki franchises. Despite of the fact the number of Kukdae Topokki's stores is quite smaller than that of its competitors, such as Jaws Topokki and Addal Topokki, Kukdae Topokki is recognized as one of the front-runners in the industry. But the competition in the topokki industry has become fiercer, as the market became saturated. To find a desirable solutions, this study analyzes past-to-current status of the Topokki industry by dividing it into 4 stages and provides few strategies that Kukdae Topokki can apply to the 4th stage where 'brand awareness' is very important. To this end, few drawbacks of Kukdae Topokki are proposed as the following. First, the brand image that Kukdae Topokki pursue does not correspondent with the image in consumer's mind. Second, Kukdae Topokki has selected the wrong targeting group. It aims for the image of 'retro' to target people in their 30-40s. However, most of the consumers are people in their 20-30s. Third, the taste of Kukdae Topokki is not uniform among franchises. Fourth, the awareness and accessability are low. To provide a proactive actions for the next stages, several solutions are proposed as following. First, By managing consistent Kukdae Topokki's Brand Touch point, consumers may have a strong image on the brand by communicating with consumers consistently at all touch points. Second, instead of the existing guide from the head office(franchiser), a standardized criteria for the usage of materials and periodical education for franchisee are needed. Third, to raise the awareness of Kukdae Topokki, open many branches in the area where the main consumers(20-30s women) are mostly spread out.

  • 다른 물질에 비해 많은 우수한 특성을 가지고 있는 CuInSe2(CIS)박막 태양전지는 많은 연구자들에 의해 개발되어 오고 있다. CIS의 대표적인 장점으로는 직접천이형 밴드갭, 높은 흡수계수, 열 안정화상태 및 p형으로의 전도성물질의 가능성 등 다양하다. 또한 간단한 구조를 이용하여 유리같은 싼 기판을 이용하기 때문에 저가형 태양전지로서 많은 각광을 받고 있다. CIGS태양전지는 CIS의 In 사이트에 Ga을 도핑함으로서 만들어지는데 밴드갭은 약 1.4eV이다. CIS박막을 만드는 많은 방법이 존재하나 구성원소로부터 최적화된 조성을 찾을수 있는 방법이 가장 중요한 요소 중의 하나로 인식되고 있으며, 이런점에서 증발법 및 스퍼터링법 등 같은 진공방식이 비진공방식에 비해 훨씬 간편하게 조성비를 맞출수 있다. 그 중에 스퍼터링법은 대면적 박막태양전지로의 가능성으로 비출어 볼때 산업화를 위한 좋은 후보군이 될 수 있다. Selenization을 하기전에 Cu-In-Se의 전구체 조합은 여러개의 타겟으로부터 동시 스퍼터링법이나 다층 전구체법을 사용하여 준비되는데 어떤 방법이 되던지 Se의 부가적인 공급은 불가피하다. 지금까지 많은 관련 연구의 대부분인 구조적, 조성비적 그리고 광학적인 특성평가에 집중되어 오고 있는데, 전기적특성평가의 경우는 면저항, 비저항 같은 간단한 결과 위주로 보고되어 오고 있다. 또한 캐리어농도와 이동도에 대한 보고가 있음에도 불구하고 이해되기에는 충분치 못한 면이 많다.본 발표에서는 태양전지 제조 전단계로서 소다라임유리기판(SLG)위에 Mo의 유무에 따라 CIS박막의 전기적인 특성 변화에 대한 내용을 담고 있다. 소다라임유리($2cm{\times}2cm$)를 기판으로 사용하여 아세톤-에탄올 용액에 초음파세척을 수행하고, Mo 후면전극을 DC 스퍼터링방식을 이용하여 증착을 한다. SLG와 Mo이 코팅된 SLG를 각각 RF 스퍼터 챔버에 이송한 후 수증기 제거를 위해 약 10분간 예열을 한다. 샘플에 대한 전기적특성은 Hall효과 측정장치에 의해 측정이 되며 전기전도도, 캐리어농도, 이동도 및 전도형에 대한 정보가 각각의 변수에 따라 조사된돠. 부가적으로 구조적, 조성비적인 특성을 SEM,XRD 및 EDX를 통해 조사를 하여 전기적 특성에 따른 관계성을 검토한다. SLG와 Mo가 코팅된 SLG위의 CIS박막은 전기적으로 약간 다른 특성을 보일 것으로 예측되며, 이러한 기대를 바탕으로 조성비가 이상적인 화학양론에 근접할 때 p형으로서 제시될 수 있다는 것을 보여줄 것이다.

Light ID and HMD-AR Based Interactive Exhibition Design for Jeonju Hanok Village Immersive 3D View (전주 한옥마을의 실감 3D View를 위한 Light ID 및 HMD-AR 기반 인터렉티브 전시 설계)

  • The digital convergence looking for new ways to engage visitors by superimposing virtual content on projection over the real world captured media contents. This paper propose the Light ID based interactive 3D immersive exhibition things view using HMD AR technology. This approach does not required to add any additional infrastructure to be built-in to enable service and uses the installed Lighting or displays devices in the exhibit area. In this approach, the Light ID can be used as a Location Identifier and communication medium to access the content unlike the QR Tag which supports provide the download information through web interface. This utilize the advantages of camera based optical wireless communication (OWC) to receive the media content on smart device to deliver immersive 3D content visualization using AR. The proposed exhibition method is emulated on GALAXY S8 smart phone and the visual performance is evaluated for Jeonju Hanok Village. The experimental results shows that the proposed method can give immersive 3D view for exhibit things in real-time.

Tracking Recent Terrorism Trends in Europe and North America (최근 북미 및 유럽지역의 테러리즘 동향연구: 2012-2017)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a general trends in recent terrorism in North America and Europe over the last five years. In particular the terrorism which occurred after 2012 shows the transition in trends as terrorists attacks civilians and public places(soft target) rather than targeting national facilities or specific people. For instance, the Parris terror attack and Barcelona vehicle attack shows this changes clearly. The terrorists appeared to attack ordinary people in urban places with high population density. Although the trends are changing, there are still few studies focusing on the current situation, and most of the previous studies have focused on changing in strategies and counter-terrorism in each country after the 9.11 terror. Meanwhile, studies examining the trends of terrorism have been limited to analyzing few cases or using relatively monolithic data of Global Terrorism Data(GTD). While the types of terrorism that occur recent years including 'new terrorism' in many respects, it seems to be difficult to classify with GTD data and/or case studies. Therefore, it is necessary to construct new data that perhaps grasp the recent trend of terrorism from different perspectives. In this point of view, this Based on this, this study collects terrorism data from North America and Europe for the past five years, by using the National Intelligence Service's annual report on terrorism as a sampling framework and analyse the trends and changes. The result shows similarities in the methods of attack, and the type of weapon they used. As vehicle attacks has been raised in few years, damage area has been widen and casualties also have been increased.

The Strategic Direction for Product and Service Content Development according to Generation Cohorts and Consumption Values : A comparison of Korea and China (한중 50대와 20대의 소비가치 비교연구를 통한 제품 및 서비스 콘텐츠 개발 방향 탐색)

  • Senior business has been paid attention due to rapid global aging and baby boomers turning 60. However, senior business is not successful as expected because of a lack of understanding of consumers and small size of Korean domestic market. Understanding of senior consumers and overseas markets and providing attractive product and service contents needs to overcome the current challenges. Therefore, this study explores and compares consumers of different generation and different countries. We employ consumption value theory and analyze which consumption values are perceived strongly by each four group(Korean consumers in their 20s, Korean their consumers in 50s, Chinese consumers in their 20s, and Chinese consumers in their 50s). We conducted online survey to compare consumption values among samples of consumers in two countries: Korea and China. There are forty survey instruments in twelve consumption values. The results can be used to develop a strategy for planning, developing, distributing, and promoting product and service contents which consumers, in particular baby boomers, have a strong intention to purchase it.

The Analysis and Implication of Link Integrity of Korean Public Institution Website from a Web Usability Perspective (웹 사용성 관점에서 공공기관 웹 사이트의 링크 유효성 분석 및 개선 과제)

  • Web usability is utilized as a standard for constructing and managing website to be useful by people of all abilities and disabilities. Link integrity is one of main criteria for web usability evaluation. Links that are found to be broken or pointing to irrelevant information lead gradual degradation of link integrity over time. This study has conducted investigation for link integrity of Korean public institution website. Among 49 website that are accessible by an automatic link checker software, 91.8% of the website has more than one broken links. Also average number of broken links is 50.5 that is 0.33% of the number of links. 29 websites consist of internal broken links. And 22 website do not provide any information on the missing page. Broken links enlower website confidence by reducing web usability as well as they prohibit web search engine not to provide information on the website. Therefore, web developers and managers need to be aware of importance of link integrity and prohibit web usability degradation by performing link validation as a web management task or periodically.

Accuracy Assessment of Aerial Triangulation of Network RTK UAV (네트워크 RTK 무인기의 항공삼각측량 정확도 평가)

  • In the present study, we assessed the accuracy of aerial triangulation using a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) capable of network RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) survey in a disaster situation that may occur in a semi-urban area mixed with buildings. For a reliable survey of check points, they were installed on the roofs of buildings, and static GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) survey was conducted for more than four hours. For objective accuracy assessment, coded aerial targets were installed on the check points to be automatically recognized by software. At the instance of image acquisition, the 3D coordinates of the UAV camera were measured using VRS (Virtual Reference Station) method, as a kind of network RTK survey, and the 3-axial angles were achieved using IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) and gimbal rotation measurement. As a result of estimation and update of the interior and exterior orientation parameters using Agisoft Metashape, the 3D RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) of aerial triangulation ranged from 0.153 m to 0.102 m according to the combination of the image overlap and the angle of the image acquisition. To get higher aerial triangulation accuracy, it was proved to be effective to incorporate oblique images, though it is common to increase the overlap of vertical images. Therefore, to conduct a UAV mapping in an urgent disaster site, it is necessary to acquire oblique images together rather than improving image overlap.

A Research on the intention to accept telemedicine of undergraduate students: based on Social Cognitive Theory and Technology Acceptance Model (대학생의 비대면 진료 수용의향에 관한 연구: 사회인지이론과 기술수용모델을 중심으로)

  • This study was conducted to explore the acceptance behavior of undergraduate students toward telemedicine, which is temporarily allowed in the COVID-19. We applied social cognitive theory and technology acceptance model in order to reflect the convergence characteristics between medical service and digital technology of telemedicine. Based on these theoretical backgrounds, we investigated perception toward telemedicine and determinants of intention to accept telemedicine. To examine the research model and hypothesis, an online survey was conducted for college students who have not used telemedicine from September 8 to 10, 2021. A total of 184 data were collected, and multiple regression analysis was conducted using the SPSS 28.0 program. The results showed that health technology self-efficacy, usefulness and convenience benefits, social norm, and trust in telemedicine providers had positive effects on intention to accept telemedicine. This study is meaningful in that it selected undergraduate students, who are digital natives, as new targets for telemedicine, and presented the basic direction of strategies to target them.
