Current technologies on digital rights management (DRM) have focused on security and encryption as a means of solving the issue of unauthorized copying, that is, locking the content and limiting its distribution to only purchasers. But, illegal content copy should be protected not only from purchasers but also from other principals such as media distributors and content providers. In this paper, we designed and implemented end-to-end digital lights management system that can cover a content protection on the overall value-chains of content distribution. Proposed system provides content protection and secure management of digital rights in creator, provider, and distributor like in purchaser. Accordingly it can provide an environment protecting each principal's digital rights and prohibiting illegal usage of content.

방송 통신 융합 환경의 도래는 뉴미디어 산업 발전의 기회이며 동시에 저작권의 위기이다. 반면 저작권은 오랜 기간 논의된 문제였음에도, 제도적으로 기술적으로 해결되지 못한 미완의 숙제로 남아있다. 이 글은 저작권 보호와 공정 사용이 문화발전이라는 공동의 목적을 가지고 있음을 논증하고 융합 환경에 대한 구조 분석을 시도한다. 이를 통해 저작권 보호 기술이 가지는 한계와 제약을 검토한다. 또한 OWL로 표현된 관계 기반의 저작물 추적 및 통제 기술을 새롭게 제안한다. 특히 접근 통제 기술인 DRM을 시맨틱하게 설계할 수 있는 저작권 보호 기술의 속성과 특성에 대한 분석을 소개함으로 향후 디지털 콘텐츠 관리 및 응용 기술 구현에 도움을 주고자한다.

This study aims to explore how the copyright for writers of informative TV programs and documentaries is protected in the reality of broadcasting. For this study, 12 writers and the head of copyright department of the Korea TV & Radio Writers Association were interviewed in depth for research. Our interview findings suggest that writers have worked without written agreement signed by some form of legally binding contract. Instead, they have made verbal contracts. Writers should be aware of the reality of copyrights and request to readjust of basic copywriting fee from the Writers Association and each broadcasting station.

Problem of compatibility, content protection, contents circulation ok. was caused between contents offerer and consumers by indiscreet right technical development about digital contents. The MPEG committee proposed MPEG-21 framework for these problem solution and for right managing in MPEG-21 inside XML(eXtensible Markup Language)'s structure REL(Right Expression Language) that is a right expression language propose. Contents protection, circulation, standard right information representation for administration that is reasonable and is the transposition enemy mutually by REL's use doing based on this MPEG-21 were available. Fast correspondence about new technology is necessary circumstance because present MPEG-21 is in study step and REL edit solution as infra technology is required. Also, development of REL document edit system is required mere because this REL document edit has difficulty in edit except expert with MPEG-21 Framework. In this paper, designed and embody about REL document mastication system that right creation and edit are available efficiently about contents easily without comprehension of MPEG-21 framework and client system that present consumption method of REL right document.

저작권 콘텐츠의 해외 진출과 함께, 국내·외 저작권 시장 규모가 증가하고 있다. 이와 동시에 등장한 저작권 침해사이트는 메인 페이지에 저작권 침해사이트를 대표하는 이미지를 게시하는 특징이 있다. 이러한 저작권 침해사이트는 음악, 영화, 드라마 등의 저작권 콘텐츠를 불법 유통시키며 저작권 시장에 피해를 입히고 있다. 공공기관에서는 저작권 침해를 방지하기 위해 저작권 침해사이트를 차단하는 등의 대응을 하고 있지만, 저작권 침해사이트의 생성 속도에 비해 침해 여부 판단 속도가 상대적으로 느려서 차단에 어려움이 존재한다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 저작권 침해사이트의 대표 이미지를 활용한 이미지 블랙리스트에 기반하여 저작권 침해 의심 사이트 탐지 기법을 제안하고자 한다.

While the broadband network and multimedia technologies have been developing, the commercial market of digital contents also has been widely spreading with recently starting IPTV. As the IPTV services are getting to be generalized and popularized, the contents illicit copying and distribution of copyright meterials tends to draw more attentions. So we need a right service system that can protect contents and copyright using watermark inserting. Until now, the conventional protection and authentication system is taking advantages of merits both in CAS and DRM. But this system can not protect the contents when acquiring them from TV output using A/D convertor. So we apply watermark method using HSI color space against contents illicit copying. And for distribution of copyright materials. we compound unique settop ID and copyrighter's ID to make new ID that is watermark. When inserting watermark, we use the watermark for copyright protection and authentication. So we can protect copyright and identify last settop's user in illicit distribution. we design download based IPTV contents protection and authentication system using HSI watermark method.

본 논문에서는 원본 이미지에 저작권자의 저작권 정보를 삽입함으로써 저작권을 보호하고 차후 불법적인 도용을 방지하기 위해, 숫자와 로고로 구성된 워터마크 생성, 삽입 및 검출, 검증 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다. 본 시스템은 콘텐츠의 특성과 저작권자의 요구에 따라 워터마크를 숫자 또는 로고로 선택해서 구성할 수 있으며, 디지털 오디오 워터마킹 시스템과 마찬가지로 저작권 보호에 대한 전문지식이 없는 일반관리자도 용이하게 이용할 수 있는 사용자 인터페이스를 갖추도록 설계하였다. 이러한 디지털 이미지 워터마킹의 적용을 통한 소유권 및 저작권 보호는 궁극적으로 문화콘텐츠 등의 콘텐츠 제작 의뢰자로 하여금 제작 의지를 강화하여 제작 의뢰 건수를 증가시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
