효율적인 공컨테이너 관리를 위한 수직형 자동화 컨테이너터미널 이송모델 연구

  • 전 세계 주요 항만에서 컨테이너터미널의 자동화가 추진되고 있으나, 기존 터미널 자동화 모형은 수출입 화물의 단순 양하에 초점을 둔 서구형 수직 배열 중심으로 개발되었다. 이로 인해 다양한 On Dock 서비스가 이루어지는 우리나라 컨테이너 항만의 경우, 터미널 자동화 추진에 많은 어려움이 존재한다. 이에 본 연구는 컨테이너터미널 On Dock 서비스 중 주요 업무인 공컨테이너 관리의 효율성 제고를 위해, 수직 배열 자동화 컨테이너터미널에서 활용할 수 있는 새로운 구내 이송모델을 제시하고 효과를 분석하였다.

  • The concept of Container Terminal Service has been used in respect to port service until now. There is no necessity to distinguish container terminal service by concept or property. The purpose of this study is to develop the most appropriate Service Quality in the container terminal through empirical analysis such as existing theoretical studies, expertise survey and SAS program. It is necessary to show the way of evaluating Container Terminal Service's importance and Service Quality. This study intends to understand overall satisfaction survey by Container Terminal Service's evaluation through Regression Analysis where customer satisfaction will be the dependant variable.

  • 국내 최대 규모의 컨테이너 전용 터미널인 K컨테이너터미널이 스마트폰 기능을 터미널운영시스템에 도입하고 있다. "스마트로(SmartLo)"라고 이름 붙여진 모바일 애플리케이션은 컨테이너를 운송하는 화물차 운전기사들이 항만출입을 위한 다양한 정보를 스마트폰에서 확인할 수 있도록 만든 애플리케이션이다. 본 연구에서는 컨테이너터미널 게이트에서 스마트로 모바일 애플리케이션 개발사례를 제시하고자 한다. 스마트로 서비스를 이용함으로써 컨테이너터미널에서는 사전정보 조회를 통하여 외부 정보오류 최소화와 게이트 내 혼잡 해소, 화물에 대한 신속한 반출입을 통한 고객 서비스 증대, 스마트 슬립(e-SLIP)발급으로 슬립 구입비용 절감 등의 효과를 기대할 수 있다. 또한 운송차량은 신속한 게이트 통과로 운송회전율의 향상, 전배 및 셔틀 운송시 화물에 대한 적기 운송이 가능하게 되고, 운송사 입장에서는 효율적인 배차관리가 가능할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

  • Due to the international economic downturn and the increasing competition, container terminals have been trying to achieve cost effectiveness and high service levels. Shipping companies want to get better services from container terminals but container terminals only have limited space and equipment. Frequently, too many external trucks come to the terminal at the same time, and create bottle necks at the terminals. Ouside the container terminals traffic jams occur as well. As a result, stakeholders need a vehicle booking system. By VBS, container terminals can plan efficiently in advance to avoid work delay and the truck drivers can finish their jobs quickly. This paper aims to search efficient models for the container terminals by using VBS.

  • In general, the design of container yard and container handling system on container terminal are focused on operation of shipside than service about chassis from outside(C/O). It is not efficient for chassis from outside. The purpose of this paper is functional assessment of efficient container terminal and for higher performance of container terminal. first, the items which are concerned with container handling at the planning of container terminal are investigated and extracted through the practical data analysis of container terminal. Also, verified problems of planning and present condition through the functional assessment. Secondly, the improvements for container throughput in container yard are proposed and examined the effectiveness of improvements about queuing time of chassis from outside and service time of transfer crane by the evaluation decision model based upon multi criteria objectives.

  • The paper attempts to identify the Logistics Service Duality of Container Terminals and to test the model by using of the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). Also, the research assess the practical competitiveness of Container Terminals in Kwangyang by Fuzzy technique. To conclude, we can make the following observations: (1) we classifies the Logistic Service Quality into five attributes such as Tangibility, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy, (2) Assurance is drawn to the most important attribute, (3) There is a significant disparity between the operators and the users in the relative importance of the Logistics Service Quality Attributes of Container Terminal, (4) In the result of analysis of the terminals' competitiveness, C Terminal is extracted as the most superior operator. In Addition, we hope to provide useful contribution to increase Gwangyang container terminal's competitiveness and offer some insight in further research.

  • As competition increases among ports, new marketing strategies and differentiated means in addition to the existing core services are needed to prevent existing container shipping companies from escaping and to attract new customers. The additional services and reward programs are investigated. How these variables affect relational commitment in terms of customer retention is examined. Customers of the container terminals are examined in terms of psychological behavior. This study presents the structural equation model that shows the connection among benefits, rewards, switching costs and relational commitment. The empirical analysis is done with the subject of the container terminal users and the implications are derived.

  • Strategic partnerships of alliances and large shipping companies have been steadily launched in shipping market. Converting these alliances into customers and maintaining them important hub port status. The cases of container terminals to establish a political strategy based on. On the other hand, bulk terminals are relatively unexplored container terminal and bulk terminal are included in the same category of port empirical research from the overall perspective. Therefore, analysis of structural equations was utilized in this study. Analysis of the entire measurement model showed that all items except "Results - Intention of renewal" on bulk terminals were significant. This study is expected to contribute to promotion of empirical studies in various levels by compare container terminals and bulk terminals.

  • This study shows how the logistics capability of container terminal impacts with service quality and customer response. Result of this study would be utilized in marketing strategy for container terminal. Sample design is based on shipping companies which are registered in Korea Shipowners' Association and Korea Shipmanagers' Association from Dec. 5 through 23 in 2011. And total of 243 questionnaires are collected through a personal visit. The result of empirical analysis, management capability of logistics capability factor which have an effect on service quality and customer response is the biggest influence to them. At the same time, Sympathy of service quality factor which have an effect on customer response is the biggest influence to it. Therefore, customers' requirements would be analyzed specifically when loading and unloading plans are devised in container terminal, and based on customers' requirements, best customer service would be provided.
