This study examines the changes of the online music market and revenue models by the theory of network society and communications of Manuel Castells for the content platform. As a result of this study, we found that active communications among the members in the network, played a crucial role in the creation of contents and the promotions of profit for platform providers. It is especially important to create an environment in which members can voluntarily communicate rather than an artificial control. The content platform business consists of people, thus it has been proven that providing play elements of culture and society are important, as well as necessary conditions to the generation related to content based platform businesses.

This study testes an application possibility of the Elaboration Likelihood Model broadly used in communication science into forest science and examines the communication effects according to the media types. To examine the effectiveness of this model, the study sets involvement, the need for cognition, and the need for effect as motivation variable and prior knowledge as an ability variable. Most variables appear to be significant in the regression analysis and results of the study verify the possibility of the application of the Elaboration Likelihood Model in forest science. To measure the media effects, a simulation is also carried out using three media including television, newspaper, and the Internet. According to ANOVA analysis, television is more persuasive than newspaper, and there is no difference between television and the Internet in terms of persuasiveness. Regarding recall, television and the Internet are more effective than newspaper. Finally, the present study suggests effective and efficient forest communication policies based on the results.

본 사례는 염색 공장의 생산성 향상을 위해 시뮬레이션 기법을 사용한 것이다. 두 가지 시뮬레이션 분석이 실시되었다. 첫 번째는 봉제라인 모델을 개발하여 버퍼 크기와 작없시간 편차가 생산성에 미치는 영향을 분석한 것이다. 두 번째 모델은 건조기, 표백기 등과 같은 염색 설비의 투자 효과 분석에 대한 것이다. 본 사례에서 작업시간의 확률분포를 추정하는 새로운 방법을 제시하였다. 모델 개발과 분석을 위해 AIM (Analyzer for Improving Nanufacturing)이 사용되었다. AIM은 Pritsker 사가 개발한 제조 시스템 전용 시뮬레이션 소프트웨어이다. AIM은 대화방식의 모델 개발 및 시뮬레이션이 가능하고 자동적인 애니메이션 작성과 강력한 그래프 기능을 제공하므로 AIM을 이용하면 모델 개발기간이 대폭적인 단축과 시뮬레이션의 커뮤니케이션 기능을 향상시킬수 있다.

본 연구에서는 캐릭터 에이전트 기반 프리젠테이션 모델을 설계하였다. 캐릭터는 인간 대화의 특성을 반영하여 직관적이고 효과적인 커뮤니케이션 방식을 가진다. 그 적용사례로 마이크로소프트 에이전트를 파워포인트에 구현하여 보다 자연스럽고 인간적이며 직관적인 상호작용을 보인다.

From a historical perspective of risk communication, risks can be classified by their associated level of responsibility. In the case of technical risks such as hazardous chemical accidents, people perceive that risk-related organizations have a high level of responsibility; however, they do not in traditional risks such as natural disasters. This study aims to examine risk information seeking and processing, as seen in two types of risk, based on the Risk Information Seeking and Processing(RISP) model. For this purpose, hypotheses and a research question are developed with current domestic risk issues, and the results show significant differences in risk information seeking and processing between the two types of risk. Specifically, in the case of the chemical spill accident, negative emotion against relevant institutions makes different information seeking and processing compared to the natural disaster. The low level responsibility risk such as typhoon comparatively follows the flow of the original RISP model. However, the high level responsibility risk such as the hydrofluoric acid spill did not match with the RISP model. Based on the research results, theoretical implications were discussed.

본 서비스는 4 차 산업 혁명의 근간에 있는 IoT 서비스가 개인 수준에서 확장되지 않고 있음에 기반하여 여러 IoT 서비스를 통합하여 관리할 수 있는 소프트웨어를 개발, 커뮤니케이션 플랫폼에 삽입하여 원격 제어 및 IoT 서비스를 더욱 편리하게 개인에게 제공하고자 제작된 서비스이다. 플랫폼 사용자가 특정 채팅방에 명령어를 보내면 외부 단말 기기에 대한 원격 제어와 다양한 IoT 서비스가 지원된다. 스마트폰 사용 시간과 가장 많이 사용하는 애플리케이션 통계를 토대로 연동할 커뮤니케이션 플랫폼을 선정하므로 접근성과 서비스 효용성에서 이점을 가지며, 확장성 있는 소프트웨어를 개발하므로 발전 가능성 있는 모델을 제시한다.

제조시스템 시뮬레이션 분석과정에서 모델 검증, 엔지니어와의 커뮤니케이션 및 시뮬레이션 결과의 프리젠테이션을 위해 이제 그래픽 애니메이션은 시뮬레이터의 기본 필수 사양으로 자리잡고 있다. 본고에서는 사용자의 손쉬운 모델링 과정을 지원하는 사용자 모델러(User Modeler)와 실시간 애니메이션(Concurrent Animation) 수행을 지원하는 시뮬레이터용 애니메이션 모듈 개발에 관해 논의한다.

New technologies will soon bring fundamental changes to the process of scientific communication. To understand the path that these changes may take in the future, we need to take a careful look at the past. By examining the history of scientific communication, we can see how new technologies can interact with changes in communication forms. By looking at the complex roles that journals have traditionally played, we can better understand how and when journals may incorporate these new technologies. From these models we can project that electronic journals must meet the basic needs that print journals do, that they will initially maintain many of the features of traditional print journals, that their transformation may be driven by external forces, and that they will be slow in reaching their full potential.

The serials pricing and licensing crises have caused the problem of limited access to scholarly information and the problem of its preservation. To cope with these crises, various types of scholarly communication models are under study now. Open Access is one of the possible solutions among these new trials. This study has investigated the history of Open Access, articulated the first considerations for the spread of Open Access, and proposed the role of librarians during the progress.
