  • 최근 모바일 메신저 챗봇 API를 이용한 서비스 시장이 활성화되고 있다. 챗봇은 대화형 인터페이스 상에서 규칙 또는 AI로 유저와의 인터랙션을 하는 서비스로 지도, 쇼핑, 금융 등의 앱들이 챗봇 안으로 흡수되어 앱이나 웹에 별도로 접속하지 않아도 된다는 이점이 있다. 챗봇에 필요한 자동응답 API는 대표적으로 텔레그램, 페이스북 메신저, 네이버 톡톡, 카카오톡과 같은 메신저 앱에서 구현 가능하다. 아직까지 카카오톡 메신저는 챗봇 구현 환경이 제한적이라는 단점이 있지만, 국내 메신저 사용시간 점유율 94%를 차지하여 유저 접근성이 뛰어나다. 따라서 이 서비스의 타겟층이 주부 및 1인 가구이므로 서비스 범위보다는 접근성을 기준으로 두고 메신저 앱을 카카오톡으로 선택했다. 본 논문은 카카오톡 자동응답 API를 이용한 대화형 서비스를 연구 및 개발하는데 중점을 두고 있다. 이 대화형 서비스는 요리에 관한 전반적인 정보를 제공하며, 서비스 이용자에게 간편한 요리환경을 제공할 수 있도록 한다. 다양한 세부 기능을 확장한다면 효율적인 대화형 서비스가 될 것으로 사료된다.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest areas for improvement of KakaoTalk. KakaoTalk is used by everyone in Korea, and even elementary school students have been using it a lot recently. Therefore, to help parents feel safe about their children using KakaoTalk, and to ensure that children are not worried about their parents when using them, I would like to examine each user's experience to pinpoint the problem. As a method of study, a survey and interview was conducted on eight parents and eight children using KakaoTalk. Through this, the parents could not trust KakaoTalk in terms of reliability when they saw their children using KakaoTalk. Based on this research, we hope to improve KakaoTalk through further research so that parents and children can use Kakao Talk safely.

  • I made an analysis on the case of Kakao Talk, which is Korean top mobile instant messaging service, to find the growth potential of Korean Social Network Service in the global market. First, I found that unlike the PC messenger services, Kakao Talk is not only unlimited in mobile IM service provider but also has evolving into a social network service firm. Second, attempts with a variety of social services such as photo-based Kakao Story and Marketing Platform for Mobile Game, Kakao Talk successfully landed as a SNS company. Third, with 'Plus Friends' Service, soon-to-be launched Avatar and App Market Service, Kakao Talk is evolving into social media and social platforms. The big success of Kakao Talk in Korean market is expanding and reproducing into Japanese and Southeast Asian markets through the 'Line' serviced by NHN. Line is applying the proven success stories of Kakao Talk to the Japanese and Southeast Asian markets. It means that Kakao and Line, both are mobile IM services, have raised the possibility of success in the global SNS market although online web-based SNS Cyworld has failed in the global market.

The Structural Relationship among Trust in MIM, Attitude toward Emoticons, and the Intention to Purchase Emoticons in Kakao Talk (모바일 인스턴트 메신저에 대한 신뢰, 이모티콘 사용 태도와 이모티콘 구매의도 사이의 구조적 관계: 카카오톡 사례)

  • The communication via MIM(Mobile Instant Messenger) has unique characteristics; one of them is use of emoticons. Although using emoticons in MIM is getting a lot of attention from business fields and emoticons markets in MIM is growing rapidly, there are little researches focused on emoticons in MIM in consumer behaviors and marketing area. So, the purpose of this study is to fill this theoretical and practical gap. For this purpose, we explore the effect of and trust in MIM system and attitude toward use of emoticons on purchase intention to emotions in MIM. Our study used structural equation modeling analysis; the results showed that perceived benefits and perceived risk to MIM affected trust in MIM system significantly, more specifically, while perceived benefits affected trust in MIM system positively, perceived risk affected trust in MIM system negatively. We also found that perceived usefulness of emoticon in MIM and flow experience influenced attitude toward use of emoticons positively. Lastly, trust in MIM system and attitude toward use of emoticons had positive effect on purchase intention to emoticons in MIM. The implication and limitations of this study are also discussed.

  • 본 연구은 텍스트 인식과 카카오톡 메신저 Chat bot을 통해 위험 유해물질(HNS)으로 인한 사고 대응법에 대한 정확성 있는 정보를 빠르고 간편하게 검색할 수 있는 서비스이다. 사용자는 국내 모바일 메신저 어플리케이션 중 가장 많은 이용자 수를 보유한 카카오톡 상에서 서비스하는 Chat bot을 통해 서비스를 이용 할 수 있으며, Chat bot에게 화학물질의 이름을 물어보는 것으로 해당 물질에 대한 대응방법 및 기본적인 정보를 얻을 수 있다.

Effect of Motivations and Satisfaction using Kakaotalk's Gift on the Frequency of Purchasing Kakaotalk's Gift (카카오톡선물의 이용동기와 이용만족이 구매빈도에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, we examined the motivations of using Kakaotalk's gift that is one of services provided by Kakaotalk, the most popular mobile-based messenger. We also investigated possible effects of these motivations on the satisfaction of the Kakaotalk's service and a potential association of these motivations with the frequency of purchasing gifts using the service. In order to answer the research questions, we conducted a survey that recruited 220 users ranging from teenagers to in forties. As the main results of analysis, we identified four different types of user's motivations for Kakaotalk's gift: beneficial motivation, convenient motivation, improvised buying motivation, and entertaining motivation. Both the beneficial motivation and the entertaining motivation were significantly associated with the gratification of using Kakaotalk's gift, which was in turn significantly associated with the frequency of purchasing gifts through the service.

Decryption of KakaoTalk Database for macOS (macOS용 카카오톡 데이터베이스 복호화 방안)

  • KakaoTalk has the highest market share among domestic messengers. As such, KakaoTalk's conversation content is an important evidence in digital forensics, and the conversation is stored in the form of an encrypted database on a user's device. In addition, macOS has the characteristic that it is difficult to access because the disk encryption function is basically activated. The decryption method of the KakaoTalk database for Windows has been studied, but the decryption method has not been studied for KakaoTalk for macOS. In this paper, research the decryption method of the KakaoTalk database for macOS and a way to Brute-Force plan using the characteristics of KakaoTalk's UserID and compare it with KakaoTalk for Windows to examine the commonalities and differences. The results of this paper are expected to be used to analyze users' actions and events when investigating crimes using macOS.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학교의 신입생을 비롯한 재학생들에게 손쉽게 해당 대학의 정보를 제공하기 위한 것이다. 기존의 경우에는 대학 어플리케이션을 설치하여야 하는데 이에 따른 피로감과 테크노스트레스가 발생한다. 이렇다보니 최근 ICT 생태계는 메신저 플랫폼을 기반으로 한 챗봇(ChatBot) 서비스의 등장으로 앱에서 봇으로 급속히 진화 중에 있다. 또한 사람들은 새로운 앱을 찾는 대신 메신저 앱에서 대부분의 시간을 보내고 있다. 국내의 경우에는 카카오톡의 사용기간 점유율이 95%에 이르는 데 이러한 점을 고려하여 카카오톡 자동응답 API를 이용하여 대학의 교내 외 정보뿐만 아니라 교통, 날씨 등의 정보까지도 제공하고자 한다. 이에 대한 예로서 동의대학교의 정보 제공 서비스를 구축하였다.

Study on The Data Decryption and Artifacts Analysis of KakaoTalk in Windows Environment (윈도우 환경에서 카카오톡 데이터 복호화 및 아티팩트 분석 연구)

  • Messengers such as KakaoTalk, LINE, and Facebook Messenger are universal means of communication used by anyone. As the convenience functions provided to users and their usage time increase, so does the user behavior information remaining in the artifacts, which is being used as important evidence from the perspective of digital forensic investigation. However, for security reasons, most of the data is currently stored encrypted. In addition, cover-up behaviors such as intentional manipulation, concealment, and deletion are increasing, causing the problem of delaying digital forensic analysis time. In this paper, we conducted a study on the data decryption and artifacts analysis in a Windows environment for KakaoTalk, the messenger with the largest number of users in Korea. An efficient way of obtaining a decryption key and a method of identifying and decrypting messages attempted to be deleted are presented, and thumbnail artifacts are analyzed.

  • 본 논문에서는 안드로이드 스마트폰 환경에서 높은 점유율을 가진 카카오톡 모바일 메신저 앱에 대하여 행정안전부가 고시한 Android-JAVA 시큐어 코딩가이드의 입력 데이터 검증 및 표현, API악용, 보안특성, 시간 및 상태, 에러처리, 코드 품질, 캡슐화 등 18가지 보안 취약점을 분석하고, 해당 취약점에 대한 시큐어 코딩 기법을 적용한다. 먼저 현재 상용화되고 있는 카카오톡 모바일 메신저 코드를 역공학(리버스엔지니어링)방법을 이용하여 코드단에서 소스를 분석한다. 실제 코드에서 시큐어 코딩이 안드로이드 스마트폰 환경에서 행정안전부가 고시한 Android-JAVA 시큐어 코딩가이드를 기준으로 취약한 부분을 찾고, 적용이 안 되어 있는 부분에 안드로이드 환경에 맞는 시큐어 코딩 기법을 적용한다.
