  • 금값 폭등과 에너지자원 고갈에 따라 폐 인쇄회로기판의 유가금속 및 에너지자원을 효과적으로 회수하고자, 최근 국내외 금 회수 및 폐백보드 활용방안을 제시하였다. 금을 회수하는 방법으로는 침적박리, 농축처리, 중화처리, 수용액환원처리, 이온교환수지, 전해채취 등의 방법이 있다. 금은 상온침적박리 회수하며 폐백보드는 이동식 건축내장재로 활용하고자 한다.

The Effect of Organic solvents on Interrupting Diapause Initiation in Prospective Diapause Eggs of Bombyx mori. (가잠란의 휴면개시조지에 관한 유기용매의 효과)

  • The effect of some organic solvents on interrupting diapause of Bombyx mori eggs was examined to provide a clue to the mechanism of diapause initiation. Methyl alcohol and benzene proved to be efficient in developing the prospective diapause eggs upto the stage of hatching or body pigmentation of the embryos. On the other hand, most of the eggs soaked in chloroform and mixture solution of chloroform-methyl alcohol (2:1) died in the early embryonic developmental stage with yellow or red brown colours, and the egg weights decreased upto ca. 40% of the original weight 8 days after the treatments. Methyl alcohol treatment for 2, 5 and 10 min to the 5hr-old-eggs led to empergence of the larvae, with high incidence (70∼80%) in the race of Kumchu X Chonghwa and with low indidence (1∼4%) in Daezo. The effect of same treatment to 20hr old eggs decreased to ca. 10% in the emergence of larvae in Kumchn X Chonghwa and increased to 20∼30% in Daezo, while the effect disappeared shortly after the diapause initiation (48hr-old-eggs). Considering the high dependency upon the egg age of the sensitivity to solvents, it was supposed that initiation and termination of diapause may be controlled by different mechanism. It was also suspected that the solvents exert their effect on the permeability of the eggshell.

배추의 생육단계별 엽면처리시 $^85Sr,^103Ru,^134Cs$의 작물체 오염경로 분석

  • 온실내에서 $^{85}$ Sr, $^{103}$ Ru, $^{134}$ Cs의 혼합용액을 배추의 생육중 다섯 차례에 걸쳐 분무기를 이용하여 엽면 처리하고 오염경로를 해석하였다. 작물체에 의한 차단계수는 핵종간에 차이없이 처리시기가 수확기에 가까울수록 증가하여 최고 약 0.9에 달하였다. 작물체에 침적한 핵종의 수확시 잔류율은 처리시기에 따라 $^{85}$ Sr가 16~58%, $^{103}$ Ru이 15~73%, $^{134}$ Cs가 33~64%의 범위로 생육전기 처리 시에는 $^{134}$ Cs가, 후기 처리시에는 $^{103}$ Ru이 가장 높았다. 강우처리에 의해 수확시 핵종농도가 비교적 크게 감소됨을 확인하였다. 수확된 배추의 겉잎을 제거함으로써 배추내 핵종농도를 효과적으로 낮출 수 있다는 것이 입증되었다. 본 연구결과는 배추의 생육중 사고침적시 배추내 핵종농도 예측 및 대책 수립에 활용될 수 있다.

  • This study was conducted to establish a nce insect pest control system, ~ es.ys tematic application of insecticides using carbohran and buproiezin, in Korea. The effects oi various dates of application and rates of buprofezin (25% WP) after carbofuran (3G) soil incorpombon in late May on the pop~~lation densities of the brown planthoppa (BPH) immigrating in July were investigated Appropriate application tune of buprofezin for the BPH that had evaded insecticidal effect of 5011 incorporated carbofuran was late July-early August. Application rate of buprofezln at 7.0g a.i/lOa was enough to suppress the BPH density. Buprofezin treatment after carbofumn soil incorporation could also suppress the whlte backed planthopper population but did not affect the densities oi the paddy rice spiders. Considering the charactenstics of occurring patterns of the nce insect pests in Korea. buprofezin treatment m late July or early August after carbofuran soil incorporation in late May can be a useful application system of ir~sectic~deins controlling early season Insect pests and migmtoly planthoppers on rice.

  • 기존에 존재하는 해양쓰레기 처리 기술은 처리할 수 있는 쓰레기의 종류와 양이 한정되어있거나, 장치를 설치하는 데 많은 시간을 소비하는 문제점이 존재한다. 본 연구에서는 효율적으로 해양 침적쓰레기를 수거하기 위한 관리 시스템과 시나리오를 제안한다. 특히, 시나리오는 센서 배치, 감지, 분류, 처리와 같이 4단계로 구성되며, 각 단계에서 기존 문제점 해결을 위한 방안을 제시한다.

Precalcification Treatment of $TiO_2$ Nanotube on Ti-6Al-4V Alloy (Ti-6Al-4V 합금 표면에 생성된 $TiO_2$ 나노튜브의 전석회화 처리)

  • Statement of problem: Recently precalcification treatment has been studied to shorten the period of the implant. Purpose: This study was performed to evaluate the effect of precalcification treatment of $TiO_2$ Nanotube formed on Ti-6Al-4V Alloy. Material and methods: Specimens of $20{\times}10{\times}2\;mm$ in dimensions were polished sequentially from #220 to #1000 SiC paper, ultrasonically washed with acetone and distilled water for 5 min, and dried in an oven at $50^{\circ}C$ for 24 hours. The nanotubular layer was processed by electrochemical anodic oxidation in electrolytes containing 0.5 M $Na_2SO_4$ and 1.0 wt% NaF. Anodization was carried out using a regulated DC power supply (Kwangduck FA, Korea) at a potential of 20 V and current density of $30\;㎃/cm_2$ for 2 hours. Specimens were heat-treated at $600^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours to crystallize the amorphous $TiO_2$ nanotubes, and precalcified by soaking in $Na_2HPO_4$ solution for 24 hours and then in saturated $Ca(OH)_2$ solution for 5 hours. To evaluate the bioactivity of the precalcified $TiO_2$ nanotube layer, hydroxyapatite formation was investigated in a Hanks' balanced salts solution with pH 7.4 at $36.5^{\circ}C$ for 2 weeks. Results: Vertically oriented amorphous $TiO_2$ nanotubes of diameters 48.0 - 65.0 ㎚ were fabricated by anodizing treatment at 20 V for 2 hours in an 0.5 M $Na_2SO_4$ and 1.0 NaF solution. $TiO_2$ nanotubes were composed with strong anatase peak with presence of rutile peak after heat treatment at $600^{\circ}C$. The surface reactivity of $TiO_2$ nanotubes in SBF solution was enhanced by precalcification treatment in 0.5 M $Na_2HPO_4$ solution for 24 hours and then in saturated $Ca(OH)_2$ solution for 5 hours. The immersion in Hank's solution for 2 weeks showed that the intensity of $TiO_2$ rutile peak increased but the surface reactivity decreased by heat treatment at $600^{\circ}C$. Conclusion: This study shows that the precalcified treatment of $TiO_2$ Nanotube formed on Ti-6Al-4V Alloy enhances the surface reactivity.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the formation of apatite layer on two different titanium substrate treated with biomimetic method, Titanium plates were heat-treated at different temperatures of $400^{\circ}C$, $600^{\circ}C$, and $800^{\circ}C$ for 5 h in air atmosphere, And then, that plates were chemically treated with an alkali solution of 1 M sodium hydroxide (NaOH), The pre-treated titanium plates were soaked in the simulated body fluid (SBF) of Kokubo's recipe, After soaking for 7 days and 21 days in SBF, the coated layers formed on the titanium plates were characterized and compared with the morphology and chemical composition, The apatite formation was more activated on the titanium plates chemically treated with NaOH compared with the only heat-treated titanium plates.

  • Regeneration of Ni catalyst deactivated by carbon-deposition and sulfur-poisoning was studied. When a carbon-deposited catalyst was regenerated by hydrogen, the final recovery of catalytic activity for benzene hydrogenation was large but relatively long period of regeneration was required, and futhermore the deposited carbon could not be removed completely. In case of oxygen-treatment, the regeneration rate was high and the deposited carbon could be removed almost completely after a subsequent reduction treatment. When a sulfur-poisoned catalyst was regenerated by hydrogen and water vapor, the catalytic activity was not recovered. The regeneration treatment with oxygen at $650^{\circ}C$ recovered the catalytic activity up to 60 % of the initial value. When $Cl^-$ was added to oxygen, the activity was easily recovered to 45 % of the initial value even after treatment at $500^{\circ}C$. Sintering of the dispersed Ni particles was enhanced by water vapor but was hindered by oxygen and chlorine addition.

Analysis of Performance Requirements of Mechanical System for Recovery of Deposited Hazardous and Noxious Substances from Seabed around Seaport (항만 해저침적 위험유해물질(HNS) 회수용 기계장치의 성능요건 분석)

  • Approximately 6,000 chemicals are transported through the sea, including hazardous and noxious substances (HNS), which cause marine pollution and are harmful to marine life. The HNS discharged into the sea during the maritime transportation process undergoes physical and chemical changes on the sea surface and in seawater, and some types of HNS sink and are deposited on the seabed. The HNS deposited on the seabed adversely affects the benthic ecosystem, and hence, it is desirable to detect, treat, and recover the HNS on the seabed. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze the performance requirements that should be considered as the top priority when developing a mechanical system for recovering the HNS deposited on the seabed. Various types of existing dredging devices used for collecting and recovering pollutants from river beds and seabeds were investigated, and 10 performance indices for the mechanical devices were selected. The new performance requirements for the development of the seabed-deposited HNS recovery system were proposed using performance indices. By considering the depth of water in domestic seaports, some of the performance requirements of the mechanical system for recovering deposited HNS from the seabed were obtained as follows: production rate (50-300 ㎥/hr), maximum operation depth (50 m), sediment type (most forms), percentage of solids (10 % or higher), horizontal operating accuracy (±10 cm), limiting currents (3-5 knots). These performance requirements are expected to be useful in the conceptual and basic design of mechanical systems for recovering seabed-deposited HNS.
