Development of Membrane material for Stratospheric Airship (성층권 비행선용 막재료 개발)

  • 성층권 비행선 기낭용 막재료를 개발하였다. 성층권 비행선을 구현하기 위한 초경량/고강도의 막재료를 설계 개발하였다. 요구조건을 만족시키기 위하여 벡트란, 테들라 등의 최신 고분자 화합물을 적층한 막재를 개발하였다. 개발된 막재료에 대한 유한요소 미세구조 모델링을 수행하고, 물성치를 예측하였다. 막재료에 대한 물성시험을 수행하였다. 단위 시편에 대한 강도-강성 시험을 수행하였으며, 이를 유한요소 예측치와 비교하였다.

Side impact regulation trend and simulation technology (측면 충돌 법규화 동향과 해석 기술)

  • 측면 충돌시 승객의 안전확보를 위한 미국 및 유럽의 법규 제정 과정과 배경을 살펴보고 이 두 법규를 비교하였다. 또한 이들 신 법규에 대응한 신차 개발을 위하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션과 같은 해석 기법을 이용시 개발 비용의 절감은 물론 개발기간도 단출할 수 있음을 보이고 미국 법규에 따른 해석 사례를 소개하였다. 정적 도어 구조 강성 해석의 경우 시험값과 평균적으로 10% 내의 오차를 보여주었다. 또한 동적 측면 충돌 해석 결과는 시험값과 비교하여 이동 대차 중심, 우측 B-필라하단 및 운전석 도어 중심에서의 Y-방향 속도의 경우 평균적으로 약 5% 차이를 보였으며 운전석 더미의 상해치는 골반 가속도의 경우 약 30%, 흉부 상해치의 경우 약 4%차이를 보여주었다. 이러한 해석 기술의 발달은 해석 결과와 시험결과 사이의 차이를 더욱 줄일 것으로 기대되며 이를 효과적으로 이용시 시작차의 제작비 및 시험비 절감 및 개발기간 단축을 가져와 자동차 설계분야의 국제경쟁력을 높이는 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.

  • This paper presents the dynamic analysis and experiment for rotor systems supported by angular contact ball bearings subjected to axial displacement preload. A dynamic software, which has been developed by the authors for the analysis of rotor systems supported by angular contact ball bearings, is used to simulate a uniform shaft system supported by two angular contact ball bearings with the axial displacement preload varied. Experiments are also performed to validate the simulation. An experimental system is constructed which consists of a uniform shaft, two bearings and a device for adjusting the axial displacement preload. Through a series of simulation and experiment, the dynamic characteristics of rotor systems with angular contact ball bearings subject to axial displacement preload are investigated.

  • This paper studies on the instability behaviour of the Seoul southwest baseball dome. The nonlinear Snapping phenomenon of the structure is investigated about the load mode by the design load of analysis structure and these combined loads. The initial imperfection obtains the buckling mode through the eigenvalue analysis of the tangential stiffness matrix and uses this for the nonlinear analysis. However, the buckling of members or the local buckling, and etc don't consider in the research range of this research task. Also it is limited the overall buckling phenomenon.

A Study on the Lateral Vibration Reduction of the High-speed Electric Multiple Unit (동력분산형 고속열차의 횡방향 진동저감에 관한 연구)

  • This study was carried out to reduce the lateral vibration of high-speed electric multiple units. In the study, the high-speed electric multiple unit prototype (HEMU-430X) has a high lateral vibration at low equivalent conicity regardless of the wheel profiles (XP55, GV40, S1002). As wheel wear progresses and the equivalent conicity increases, the lateral vibration tends to decrease. The reason is that a combination of the suspension characteristics causes the body and bogie to resonate at a frequency of 1.4 Hz when the equivalent conicity is low, resulting in body hunting. An investigation of the lateral vibration of overseas high-speed trains showed that a decrease in the hydraulic stiffness of the yaw damper could improve the vibration. The series stiffness of the yaw damper is a combination of the hydraulic stiffness and elastic joint. In this study, an attempt was made to improve the lateral vibration by lowering the stiffness of the elastic joint. The series stiffness of the adjusted yaw damper was approximately 60% compared to the original one. The on track test results showed improvement in the lateral vibration for both running directions. The vibration reduction method of this study can be used for EMU-250 and EMU-320 in future commercial operations.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 S/S 티셔츠 소재의 기본태 및 역학적 특성이 소재에 대한 주관적 감성에 미치는 영향을 밝혀 티셔츠 소재의 감성 이미지를 확립하고 소비자 감성에 적합한 S/S용 티셔츠 소재를 개발하기 위함이다. 이 연구를 위해 2003 봄, 여름에 시판된 5개의 티셔츠 소재가 사용되었고, 티셔츠 소재에 대한 감성 이미지를 도출하기 위해 티셔츠 소재와 관련된 20개의 감성형용어로 설문지를 작성하였다. 설문조사는 총 75명의 성인 남녀를 대상으로 실시하였으며 평가자는 각 문항에 대해서 7점 리커트형 척도를 사용하여 평가하였다. 5개의 시료 각각에 대한 19개의 역학적 특성치를 측정하여 태의 값을 산출하였으며, 각 특성치들과 주관적 감성 이미지와의 관계는 SPSS_Win 10.1을 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. S/S 티셔츠 소재의 감성이미지는 ‘유연감’, ‘청결감’, ‘매력성’, ‘건조감’, ‘강성’으로 분류되었으며, 소재의 감성 이미지가 소재의 기본 태에 의해 영향을 받는 정도는 다르게 나타났다. 감성이미지에 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 기본태는 Shari였다. 또한 편성구조 및 섬유조성과 같은 티셔츠 소재의 기본적 특성이 소재에 대한 주관적 감성이미지에 미치는 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났다.

Determination of Effective Buckling Length of Plane Frames using Elastic and Inelastic System Buckling Analysis (탄성 및 비탄성 좌굴 고유치해석을 이용한 강뼈대구조의 유효좌굴길이)

  • An improved method for evaluating effective buckling lengths of beam-column members in plane frames is newly proposed based on system inelastic buckling analysis. To this end, the tangent stiffness matrix of be am-column elements is first calculated using stability functions and then the inelastic buckling analysis method is presented. The scheme for determining effective length of individual members is also addressed. Design examples and numerical results ?uc presented to show the validity of the proposed method.

Eigenvalue Analysis of Symmetrically Stepped Beams by Equivalent Beam Transformation (대칭단헝 단순보의 등가보 변환에 의한 고유치 해석)

  • The natural frequency of a beam plays a critical role in the dynamic analysis of beams. Especially it is a complicated and difficult task to analyse the natural frequency of a stepped beam with an irregularly varying section. The lumped mass methods, multi-degree of freedom analyses, are mainly used for the analysis of this kind of stepped beams. The accuracy of these methods are determined by the number of the partitions of elements, the number of the iterations in calculation, and the accuracy of assumed mode shapes. This study presents a method of transformation from symmetrically stepped beams to an equivalent beam and a method of the eigenvalue analysis. Appropriateness and utility of this method are demonstrated by comparing examples from other literatures and various models.

Strength Prediction of Spatially Reinforced Composites (공간적으로 보강된 복합재료의 강도예측)

  • In this study, the strength of spatially reinforced composites (SRC) are predicted by using stiffness reduction for each structural element composed of a rod stiffness in each direction and a matrix stiffness proportional to its rod volume fraction. Maximum failure strain criteria is applied to rod failure, and modified Tsai-Wu failure criteria to matrix failure. The material properties composed of the tensile failure strain of a rod, the compressive failure strain of 3D SRC, the tensile and compressive strength of the 3D SRC in the $45^{\cir}$ rotated direction from a rod and the shear strength of the 3D SRC are measured to predict the SRC strength. The strength distributions of the 3D/4D SRC in rod and off-rod direction have the largest and the smallest values, respectively. A variable load step is selected to increase an efficiency of strength distribution calculation. Uniform load step is applied when a load history is needed. The results of compressive strength from analysis and experiment show the 18 % difference though the initial slop is coincident with each other.

Computational Modelling Method by Using the Natural Frequencies of Five-Story Stone Pagoda in Chongnimsa Site (고유진동수를 이용한 정림사지 5층 석탑의 구조모델)

  • Multi-layered stone masonry monuments, such as stone pagoda can be modeled as a multi-degrees of freedom system. The dynamic behavior of these structures are mainly influenced by contour condition of contacting surface of stones. In this case the mass of the system can be easily estimated, mean while the estimation of stiffness at junction is not simple. In this paper a method for estimating the spring constant at the contacting surface of stone in proposed. This paper describes a method of computational modelling technique for structural analysis of stone pagodas using measurement of natural frequency and eigenvalue analysis. For this purpose Five story stone pagoda in Cchongnimsa site was selected as a model.
