In female students, influencing factors were the perception of smartphone importance (${\beta}=.630$, p<.001) and impulsivity (${\beta}=.185$, p=.010). Based on the findings, a tailored smartphone overdependence prevention program is needed by controlling impulsivity and changing distorted perceptions of smartphone.
