  • 기존의 이론적 연구와 실험적 연구를 바탕으로 충돌 제트의 수치 모델을 개발하였다. 본 모델은 like-doublet 충돌제트로부터 생성되는 액적의 모든 특성을 액막이 분열되는 시점에서 결정한다. 액적 특성을 결정하기 위해 이론적 연구로부터 얻어진 액막 두께, 액주의 직경, 액적 크기와 실험적 연구로부터 얻어진 액막/액적 속도, 액막 분열 거리, 분열 주파수, 액적 질량 유량 분포를 이용하였다. 액적의 질량 유량 분포는 Laplace 분포로부터 표준 편차를 이용하여 모사하였다. 또한 실험 결과를 이용하여 액막 분열 거리, 분열 주기, 표준 편차에 대한 경험식을 유도하였다. 개발된 모델은 정성적인 분무 패턴뿐만 아니라 정량적인 SMD 및 질량 유량 분포에서 실험 결과와 잘 일치한다.

  • 차량현가장치는 주로 운행중 승차감(ride quality)을 향상시키고, 현가장치의 변위(rattle space)를 제한된 범위안에 있도록 유지시켜 주며, 조정안정성(handling performence)을 향상시켜 주는 기능을 수행한다. 승차감을 향상시켜 주기 위해서는 도로 수직입력 및 횡풍등에 의한 외란으로 부터 스프링상질량을 절연 시켜야 하며, 조정안정성을 향상시키기 위해서는 타이어와 지면과의 접촉력변화를 최소화시키면서 타이어가 도로형상을 비슷하게 추종해야 한다. 또한 스프링상 질량과 스프링하 질량과의 충돌이 없이, 또한 현가장치의 각 링크기구들도 충돌없이 일정한 공간내에서 움직여야 하므로 현가장치의 변위는 제한조건내에 존재하여야 한다.(중략)

Performance Improvement of Anti-collision Algorithm for RFID Protocol and Algorithm Comparison (RFID 프로토콜의 충돌방지 알고리즘의 성능 개선과 알고리즘 비교)

  • In this paper, Air-interface protocols of ISO 18000-6 Types and EPCglobal Classes applied to RFID system in UHF band are analyzed, and those anticollision algorithms are realized. Also, the each algorithm which improves the performance of standard protocol is proposed, and the performance is compared when clock period of link timing is a identical condition on $12.5{\mu}s$. As the result, when 500 tags exist simultaneously inside reader interrogation zone, the tag recognition performance of a standard protocol is better in preceding order of Class-1 Generation-1, Type B, Type A, Class-0 and Class-1 Generation-2. And also the performance of improved protocol is better in ascending order of Type B, Type A, Class-1 Generation-1, Class-0 and Class-1 Generation-2. Therefore, performance of tag recognition remarkably depends on the regulated clock period in the protocol and link timing between a reader and a tag.

Cyclic Igneous Activities During the Late Paleozoic to Early Cenozoic Period Over the Korean Peninsula (고생대말-신생대초 기간에 일어난 한반도의 주기적 화성활동)

  • There were three cycles of igneous activities from the late Paleozoic to early Cenozoic; Permian to Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous to Paleogene. After the beginning of each igneous activity cycle, igneous activity became more frequent until its climax. It is noteworthy that A-type magmatisms are reported from near the ends of the all three igneous activity cycles. In addition, adakitic magmatisms occurred at the beginning of both the Permian-Triassic and the Cretaceous-Paleogene cycles. Most of the igneous activities during the late Paleozoic to early Cenozoic period were subduction-related. Therefore, transitions among beginning, proceeding, and closing of the igneous activity cycles would be intimately related with changes in directions of plate movements. In this context, I suggest following hypotheses. The closing of the Permian-Triassic igneous cycle was possibly a consequence of radical adjustment of plate motion occurred due to continental collision between north and south China blocks. Considering that no appreciable tectonic activities were recognized from the east Asian continent at the closing of the Jurassic igneous cycle, it seems that one of the strong events related with Gondwanaland-breakup and subsequent birth of the new oceans, which might cause sudden adjustments of plate motions. The closing of the Cretaceous-Paleogene igneous cycle seems to be caused as a consequence of the collision between India and Asia continents. Meanwhile, adakitic igneous bodies emplaced at the beginnings of the Permian-Triassic and Cretaceous-Paleogene cycles could be products of slab-melting during the early stages of the subduction.

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient automatic control method for the collision avoidance of drones. In general, the drones are controlled by transmitting to the flight control (FC) module the received PWM signals transmitted from a RC controller which transduce movements of the knob into PWM signal. We implemented the collision avoidance module in-between receiver and FC module to monitor and change the throttle, pitch and roll control signals to avoid drone collision. In order to avoid the collision, a LiDAR distance sensor and a servo-motor are installed and periodically measure the obstacle distance within -45 degrees from 45 degrees in flight direction. If the collision is predicted, the received PWM signal is changed and transmitted to the FC module to prevent the collision. We applied our proposed method to a hexacopter and the experimental results show that the safety is improved because it can prevent the collision caused by the inadvertency or inexperienced maneuver.

해상교량관련 해양사고 조사 ${\cdot}$ 분석에 관한 연구

  • 현재 세계 각지에는 선박이 통항하는 항행수역에 해상교량이 건설되고 있다. 이와 동반하여 선박이 해상교량에 충돌하는 사고가 발생하고 있다. 우리나라에서도 2009년 인천 제2연육교의 완성과 더불어 선박이 통항하는 항행수역에 해상교량이 건설되는 경우가 많아지고 있다. 이러한 해역에 건설된 해상교량은 선박의 항행수역에 건설되기 때문에 타와 주기관의 고장 등으로 선박이 해상 교량에 충돌할 가능성이 있다. 이 연구에서는 이러한 충돌사고 예방을 위하여 외국 및 우리나라의 해상교량과 관련한 해양사고 발생 현황 및 원인에 대하여 조사하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 지능적으로 폴링과 랜덤접속모드를 사용하는 RFID 충돌방지 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 제안하고자 하는 충돌방지 알고리즘은 태그의 교체율이 크지 않을 경우, 먼저 이전 인식과정에서 성공적으로 식별한 태그들에 대한 고유정보를 기억한 뒤 다음 인식 세션에서 그 고유 정보를 활용하여 출석을 부르는 것처럼 경쟁 없이 태그들을 호출하여 빠르게 식별한다. 이전 세션(session)에 비하여 많은 수의 태그가 교체되었으면 인식률이 저하될 수 있다. 이 경우에는 랜덤 접속모드로 전환하여 나머지 태그들을 읽어 낸다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 것처럼 인식이력을 활용한 모드와 랜덤 접속 모드를 적절히 조합하여 운용하면 태그 인식 시간을 단축할 수 있으며, 특히, 주기적으로 개체의 존재 유무를 확인하는 응용의 경우에 우수한 성능 향상을 얻을 수 있다.

Mobile Transaction Processing in Hybrid Broadcasting Environment (복합 브로드캐스팅 환경에서 이동 트랜잭션 처리)

  • In recent years, different models in data delivery have been explored in mobile computing systems. Particularly, there were a lot of research efforts in the periodic push model where the server repetitively disseminates information without explicit request. However, average waiting time per data operation highly depends on the length of a broadcast cycle and different access pattern among clients may deteriorate the response time considerably. In this case, clients are preferably willing to send a data request to the server explicitly through backchannel in order to obtain optimal response time. We call the broadcast model supporting backchannel as hybrid broadcast. In this paper, we devise a new transaction processing algorithm(O-PreH) in hybrid broadcast environments. The data objects which the server maintains are divided into Push_Data for periodic broadcasting and Pull_Data for on-demand processing. Clients tune in broadcast channel or demand the data of interests according to the data type. Periodic invalidation reports from the server support maintaining transactional consistency. If one or more conflicts are found, conflict orders are determined not to violate the consistency(pre-reordering) and then the remaining operations have to be executed pessimistically. Through extensive simulations, we demonstrate the improved throughput of the proposed algorithm.

  • According to the statistics provided by Korean Maritime Safety Tribunal for the year 2018, the majority of marine accidents in the past four years have occurred in fishing boats and small-sized boats. Negligent behavior resulting from not looking outside and non-compliance with navigation laws are the primary reasons behind ship collisions. Although safety education and training are reinforced to prevent such accidents, they still occur frequently. Hence, technical methods are continuously being developed to reduce ship collisions caused by human cause. The objective of this study is to reduce ship collisions by employing the WAVE communication system, which has short transmitting and receiving periods that can be incorporated for high-speed small-sized vessels. In this study, the suitability of the communication range was examined, and the appropriate range and timing for avoidance motion were accordingly selected, and a control algorithm based on the same was thereby designed. Consequently normal operation of the collision avoidance system was verified by connecting and simulating the proposed WAVE communication router-controller-steering equipment.

  • This study is to calculate the Real-Time contact point of ellipses between the vessels ships by Ship's Bumper Theory. The Real-Time contact point of ship's bumper ellipses can be used the important tool to feel the perceived risk evaluation of ship's collision risk by VTS operator. In this paper, The warning information to feel the risk of collision between the vessels in advance is able to help them for VTS operation, We will study the technique to certify the perceived risk of collision from several different angles by programming.
