An Observational Research on the Limitations and Side Effects of Gamification in Educating Human Resources (인력교육에서 게이미피케이션의 한계와 역효과에 대한 관찰연구)

  • Fun and happiness are the intrinsic values of the human beings. Game is one of the most efficient tools which satisfies those intrinsic values. Approaches and methods combining game and education to provide the enjoyable education environments have been increasing. As use of gamification in corporate and school education environments for human resources is increasing, significant voices of concern on the limitations and side effects of combining game and education are continuously increasing. The purpose of this paper is to energize the use of gamification in education environments by clarifying the limitations and side effects of gamification and seeking ways to overcome those factors. This paper summarizes an observational research on the limitations and side effects of gamification in education environments, and provides the interviewees' opinions on gamified classes.

The Study about Masstiege High-end Products (Part I) -Focusing on Values- (매스티지(Masstiege) 명품에 관한 고찰(제1보) -추구 가치를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify features of masstiege high-end products by comparing to original old high-end products. For this purpose, the differences in values between each consumer groups divided by preferred products types (high-end products, original old high-end products) were examined. This study was executed by consumer survey and 279 female data were used in analysis. The results are as follows. First, the value factors pursued on high-end products were constructed by factor analysis and the factors consisted of 4 elements; conspicuous, aesthetic, durable, conformity. Next, the differences in value elements between masstiege high-end products and original old high-end products were identified by t-test. The consumers preferring original old high-end products pursued conspicuous features significantly more and the consumers preferring masstiege high-end products considered aspects of aesthetic and conformity elements as more important. And according to kinds of preferring high-end product, demographic characteristics were different. The consumers who were of high age, high education and high income and married consumers preferred original old high-end products, whereas the consumers who were of low age, low education and low income and unmarried consumers preferred masstiege high-end products. Finally, marketing strategies for masstiege brand were suggested on the base of the results.

사회적 기업 창업의지에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

  • 우리나라는 외환위기 이후 경제가 급속도로로 발전했으나 변화하는 과정에서 여러 사회문제들이 발생했다. 저 출산 및 고령화, 환경오염, 실업률 증가, 지역 사회 붕괴, 사회적 가치 창출 및 공유 미흡등 사회적인 약자가 증가하고 그들에 대한 배려가 부족해지면서 사회적 서비스가 중요한 시대가 되었다. 사회적 기업은 영리기업과 비영리 기업의 중간 형태로, 사회적 목적을 우선적으로 추구하면서 재화/서비스의 생산 및 판매 등 영업활동을 수행하는 조직을 말한다.(사회적기업진흥원, 2017) 사회 전반적으로 사회 문제에 대한 관심과 사회적 기업에 대한 창의적인 아이디어, 도전들은 많다. 하지만 사회문제를 해결하기 위한 사회적 기업 창업을 하는 사람은 그리 많지 않는 것이 현실이다. 이러한 현실을 통해 본 논문에서는 현재 대학생, 대학원생들의 사회적 기업 창업의지에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 관하여 고찰하였다. 사회적 기업 창업과 벤처 창업 의지에 관한 선행 연구들을 바탕으로 연구를 진행 하였다. 사회적 기업 창업 의지에 영향을 미치는 영향으로는 개인적 특성(위험 감수성, 혁신 추구성, 진취성, 사회가치지향성), 사회문제 상황인식(문제인식, 관여도), 대학의 사회적 기업 정보등을 선정하였다. 이러한 요인을 바탕으로 국내 대학생과 대학원생들에게 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 설문조사 결과에 대한 신뢰성, 요인분석, 상관관계 분석 등을 통해 본 연구에서 설계한 가설을 검증해 보았다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 사회적 기업을 창업? 잠재적인 대학생 및 대학원생들의 창업을 도와주기 위한 정책적 지원을 만드는데 도움이 되며, 사회적 기업 창업에 관한 연구 확산에도 기여 할 수 있을 것이다.

Consumers' Value-in-Behavior and Practice of Pro-social Consumption: Focused on Moderating Effect of Social Capital (친사회적 소비에 대한 소비자의 행동적 가치인식과 실천행동: 사회적 자본의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • This study examined the effects of value-in-behavior toward pro-social consumption behavior on consumers' pro-social practices and the moderating effects of consumer's social capital based on trust and reciprocity that enhances collective actions to seek socially common values. The result showed that the value-in-behavior toward pro-social consumption was positive in general, and altruistic value was the highest, followed by emotional value, social value, and functional value. The pro-social behaviors of age groups were significantly different. In all pro-social behaviors, the older group was more active, except for the rejection of the unfair business. The result also showed that the functional value and emotional value have significant effects on consumer's pro-social practices. The interaction effects between trust and emotional value and between reciprocity and functional value were significant. Based on these results, the theoretical and practical implications for facilitating the transition to the direction of consumer's role in making positive social impacts.

Customer Willingness to Use Smart Grid Services in Home (스마트 그리드 서비스에 대한 고객 수용도 분석)

  • Customers can monitor electricity use in real time in smart grid(ICT is grafted onto current grid), so various beneficial services can be provided to customer. We did a qualitative survey, HV(Home Visit) and FGD(Focus Group Discussion), in order to derive customer's cognition of using electricity in home and values that customers consider significantly and a quantitative survey in order to know willingness to use. Customers consider electricity indispensible for using home appliances, want to use safely far from electromagnetic waves, short circuit and electronic shock. Also, customers want to save energy conveniently with no stress. Customers want 'a function', 'information', 'motivation' for energy saving, and 'electromagnetic waves cutting', 'to prevent electronic shock', 'to prevent short circuit' for safe electricity use. In this study, we derived 4 services - energy monitoring, standby power cutting, remote control, energy consulting - based on customer values and unmet needs, which is connected to home network that customers can monitor total and each appliance's electricity usage in real time and control home appliances. The willingness to use of services is over 60% and especially energy monitoring and standby power cutting service have high willingness to use rate, about 80%.

The Sociocultural Value Research of Man Image and Make-up in Media (미디어에 나타난 남성의 이미지와 메이크업의 사회문화적 가치 분석)

  • This study seeks to find the sociocultural value which influences the man image and make-up in media. It helps to gain the effective data that suggest the application of male make-up in promoting development of market. The man emphasizes the practical value which is the technical and instrumental value to express the man image rationally, aesthetic value to pursue aesthetic purely and symbolic value which is a volitional and intentional value experienced in the history and society to express preferring man images as the society is changed. As analysing the man image based on sociocultural value, the practical value of men's make-up is to maximize the utility vale in order to deliver a clear image considering their activity range, environment, and situation. Second, the aesthetical value of men's make-up is to emphasize femininity through women's make-up technic. Third, the symbolic value of men's make-up is to deliver a concept or intentionally create an image by maximizing overall characteristic image. It will be hopefully valuable as a basic data for developing make-up products and setting trend for men as well as for future studies.

The Influence of Mediating Effects of Social Capital on Social Entrepreneurship (사회적 기업가정신에 대한 사회적 자본의 매개효과가 사회적 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine whether the social capital supported by social enterprises play a role in ensuring self-sustaining and sustainable growth, and to examine whether the mediating effect of social capital have a central effect on social performance. The results of this study are as follows: Innovation and orientation-to-social-value of social entrepreneurship have positive effects on structural capital, and positive influence on cognitive capital and relational capital, but innovation only has no effect. In addition, social entrepreneurship is partially mediated by structural capital. In the mediating effect between social entrepreneurship and cognitive capital, only the risk-taking and the orientation-to-social-value have a partial mediation effect on cognitive capital. However, only the initiative of relational capital was found to have a full mediating effect. And social capital has a positive effect on social performance as a whole. In conclusion, considering that the realization of economic purpose and other social purpose of social enterprises will help to develop and create jobs in the local community, and that they are engaged in business activities in a poor management environment, to provide policy support for inducing high value-added industries through industry-specific collaborations.

Scientific Study of Subjectivity on Recognition Types and Preferences of Animation Audiences (애니메이션 수용자의 인식유형과 취향에 관한 주관성연구)

  • This is a scientific study of subjectivity on recognition types and preferences of animation audience. Therefore, Q-methodology was used as a methodology of this study. As a result, it was possible to find the various characteristics according to the preferences of audience on animation genres. The features of each type were classified into 3 types. First was an artistic and literary value-oriented type that explored storytelling and descriptive value. Second was a pictorial and aesthetic value-oriented type that explored visual beauty such as characters and Mise en scene. Third was a visual and entertainment value-oriented type that explored entertainment factors and attractions. Thus, according to the classification of preference types, it was inferred that digital image generation audience with an active preference that can create and consume images have developed a tendency that independently consumed their preferences based on thoroughly personal or subjective preferences rather than classified and accepted their preferred culture as their symbolic expressions of hierarchical position. In this aspect, Q-methodological consideration that is useful to analyze the subjectivity of audience could be a significant work. Nevertheless, this study alone could not reveal various generative contexts of specific preferences. It seems to have more significant results by applying various qualitative or quantitative methodologies together with this study and analyzing recognition types and preferences of audience.

  • As the axis of the private security maintain social order in order to achieve the original purpose of all society must move in the direction of motion, and so in order to be a private security based philosophical values and ideological composition should be based. In this process, to be followed by private security value or direction, philosophy private security is the norm. In this regard, this study pursued by the private security justification ever truly normative principles are intended to establish. The public nature of the ideology of private security, public, efficiency, legality, responsiveness and the like. Conflict occurs between the value of these ideals, although complementary are in harmony.

  • 과거와 달리 현재는 소비에 대한 인식이 바뀌어 상품을 공급받는 소비가 아닌 이미지와 가치를 중시하는 차별화된 소비를 원한다. 따라서 고객의 주목을 끌어 판매를 유도하는 매장 쇼윈도우 디스플레이의 중요성이 높아졌다. 쇼윈도우 디스플레이에 있어서 오브제(object)는 제품의 가치를 향상시킬 수 있는 수단이자 방법으로 시각적 매체이다. 이러한 오브제 연출 기법을 살펴보기 위해 구상적 매체와 추상적 매체로 구분하여 패션 플래그쉽스토어 사례를 분석하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 오브제 연출 기법의 적극적인 도입으로 과거의 획일화된 디스플레이 연출에서 탈피하여 제품의 가치 증진과 소비자와 유대관계를 맺고 시선을 유도할 수 있는 차별화된 패션 플래그쉽스토어 쇼윈도우 디스플레이로 거듭나는 것에 의의를 둔다. 또한 디스플레이 쇼윈도우의 효과적인 시각전달과 새로운 디자인의 개성화를 추구하고자 한다.
