Evaluation of applicability of linkage modelling using PHABSIM and SWAT (PHABSIM과 SWAT을 이용한 연계모델링 적용성 평가)

  • 환경생태유량은 수생태 건강성 유지를 위한 최소한의 유량으로 K-water에서는 유량증분방법론 기반의 1차원 물리적 서식처 모형인 PHABSIM(Physical habitat simulation system)을 이용해 고시지점에 대해 환경생태유량을 산정하여 제시하고 있으나, PHABSIM을 이용하여 환경생태유량을 산정하기 위해서는 지형, 수문 및 어류조사와 같은 현장조사를 지속적으로 실시해야한다는 한계점이 존재한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 안동댐 하류유역(4,565.7 km2)을 대상으로 SWAT(Soil and water assessment tool)과 PHABSIM을 연계하여 수문모형을 이용한 유량 모의에 따른 대상 어종의 환경생태유량을 산정하고자 한다. SWAT 구축을 위해 DEM과 토양도 및 토지이용자료와 유역 내 위치한 7개의 기상관측소에 대한 40년(1980~2019)의 기상자료를 수집하여 적용하였으며, SWAT의 검보정을 위해 유역내 위치한 2개의 다목적 댐(안동댐, 임하댐)의 실측 운영자료와 1개의 수위관측소의 유량자료를 수집하였다. PHABSIM의 경우, 안동댐 하류유역에 대한 하천정비기본계획 보고서에 기반하여 지형자료를 입력하였으며 문헌조사를 통해 대상어종의 서식적합도지수를 수집하여 적용하였다. 3개 지점에 대한 SWAT 검보정결과, 평균 R2, NSE 및 RMSE는 각각 0.51~0.76, 0.47~0.74, 0.61~1.84 mm/day로 나타났다. PHABSIM과의 연계를 위해 검보정된 SWAT의 하천유량에 대해 유황분석을 실시하였고, 산정한 Q10과 Q355를 유량의 최대·최소 범위로 설정하여 PHABSIM의 유량 경계조건으로 활용하였다. 이를 이용하여 SWAT과 PHABSIM의 연계모델링 적용성을 평가하고 대상어종의 환경생태유량을 산정할 예정이다.

  • 지역 빈도 분석과 점 빈도 분석은 하천 기본계획 및 수공 구조물의 설계에 있어 재현기간 별 확률강우량을 산정하기 위한 방법이다. 점 빈도 분석은 자료의 수가 부족하여 높은 재현기간에 대한 확률강우량을 산정하기에 어려운 점이 있다. 2019년도부터 사용되고 있는 지역빈도분석 방법은 이러한 점을 보완해주고 있다. 지역빈도분석을 수행하기 위해서는 지역의 동질성을 확인하는 과정이 가장 중요한 과정이다. 이러한 동질성을 판단하기 위하여 K-means등의 군집분석과 L-moment 법 등을 사용하고 있다. 이러한 차이점으로 인해 두 방법 간의 정확성은 비교가 어려우나 서로 간의 장점, 단점과 결과 간의 차이를 기반으로 산간지역이 많은 강원도와 같은 지역에 대한 확률강우량 산정의 적절한 방법을 판단해보고자 본 연구를 진행하였다. 지역 빈도 분석은 강원도에 위치한 48개 관측소의 강우 자료 수집 후 고도, 위치, 지속시간 별 강우량을 변수로 지정하고 K-means 분석을 통해 6개의 군집으로 구분하여 수행되었다. 이질성 척도는 관측 자료와 500번의 모의 수행을 통해 결정하였다. 이후 분석된 군집이 동질한 경우 확률분포형에 적합시켜 확률강우량을 산정하였다. 점 빈도 분석은 지역 빈도 분석에서 결정된 군집에서의 최대 강우량과 최소 강우량 관측소의 자료를 이용하여 수행하였다. 본 연구에서는 점빈도분석과 지역빈도분석의 결과를 비교하였으며, 두 가지 분석 방법에 따른 차이의 발생원인 및 특성을 결론으로 제시하였다.

  • A novel indentation theory is proposed by examining the data from the incremental plasticity theory based finite element analyses. First the optimal data acquisition location is selected, where the strain gradient is the least and the effect of friction is negligible. This data acquisition point increases the strain range by a factor of five. Numerical regressions of obtained data exhibit that strain hardening exponent and yield strain are the two main parameters which govern the subindenter deformation characteristics. The new indentation theory successfully provides the stress-strain curve with an average error less than 5%.

  • In this study, we constructed a forest fire danger map in the Yeongdong area of Gangwon-do and Northeastern area of Gyeongsangbuk-do using a forest fire rating model and geographical information system (GIS). We investigated the appropriate positions of the automatic weather station (AWS) and a comprehensive network solution (a system including measurement, communication and data processing) for the establishment of an optimum mountain meteorological observation network system (MMONS). Also, we suggested a possible plan for combining the MMONS with unmanned monitoring camera systems and wireless relay towers operated by local governments and the Korea Forest Service for prevention of forest fire.

  • 소수력은 물이 가지는 위치 에너지나 운동 에너지를 동력으로서 이용하는 것 또는 그렇게 얻을 수 있는 에너지로 소수력발전에 의해 생산되는 에너지는 부존자원이 풍부하여 다른 신재생에너지에 비해 높은 잠재력을 가지고 있어 개발가치가 충분한 부존자원이다. 또한, 친환경적인 청정에너지 중 하나로 대체 에너지원에 비해 높은 에너지를 가지고 있어 개발가치가 큰 부존자원으로 평가되고 있으며, 초기투자비에 비해 유지관리비용이 낮은 편이다. 이러한 개발가치가 있는 잠재 소수력 에너지를 알아보기 위해 한강권역의 표준유역인 안양천을 대상으로 산정해 보았다. 안양천의 잠재 소수력 에너지 산정을 위해 2004년 1월 1일부터 2013년 12월 31일까지의 구로 강우관측소의 일강우자료와 신정수문관측소의 일수위자료 및 유량자료를 수집하였으며, 하상정보를 파악하였다. 낙차는 수차발전기를 회전시켜 전기를 생산하여 상용발전이 가능하며 소수력 발전을 최대치로 생산할 수 있는 조건의 낙차인 2m로 선정하여 소수력 산정공식에 적용하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 여름인 7월에 1,421.1Kw로 최대값으로 나타났으며, 겨울인 12월에 최소값인 141.9Kw로 나타나 안양천에는 월간 최소 100Kw이상의 전력을 생산할 수 있는 잠재 소수력 에너지를 보유하고 있는 것으로 판단된다. 추후, 국토교통부와의 협력을 통해 관측되는 수문자료(강우, 수위, 유량)를 실시간으로 제공받아 일단위, 월단위, 년단위, 계절단위의 잠재 소수력 에너지를 실시간으로 산정할 수 있는 환경을 구축하여 지속적으로 잠재 소수력 에너지를 평가하고 재생에너지 확보를 통해 추구할 수 있는 경제적 이익 또한 분석되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

  • Several that analyzed the effectiveness of traffic safety facilities a method of comparing changes in the number of accidents, accident severity, speed through traffic accident data before and after installation or speed data collected from vehicle detection systems (VDS). , when traffic accident data is used, it takes a long time to collect because must be collected for at least one year before and after installation. , the road environment may change during this period, such as the addition of other traffic safety facilities in addition to the facilities to be analyzed. , the location of the VDSs for speed data is often different from the location where analysis is required, and there is a problem in that the investigators are exposed to the risk of traffic accident during on-site investigation. Therefore, this study a case study by establishing a methodology to determine effectiveness video images with a drone, extracting data using a program, and comparing vehicle driving speeds before and after speed reduction facilities. Vehicle speed surveys using drones are much safer than observational surveys conducted on highways and have the advantage of tracking speed changes along the vehicle, it is expected that they will be used for various traffic surveys in the future.

Benchmarking the Regional Patients Using DEA : Focused on A Oriental Medicine Hospital (자료포락분석방법을 이용한 내원환자의 지역별 벤치마킹분석 : 일개 한방병원을 중심으로)

  • This study purposed to benchmark the number of patients who visited an oriental medicine hospital from its surrounding regions using data envelopment analysis (DEA) model, and to analyze the relationships between regional characteristics and efficiency scores from DEA. Study data was collected from one oriental medicine hospital operated in a metropolitan city in Korea. Patient locations were identified at the smallest administrative district, Dong, and number of patients was calculated at the Dong level based on the address of patients in hospital information system. Socio-demographic variables of each Dong were identified from the Statistics of Korea web-sites. DEA was used to benchmark the number of patients between Dongs and to compute the efficiency scores. Tobit regression analysis model was applied to analyze the relationship between efficiency scores and regional variables. 6 Dongs were identified as efficient after DEA. In Tobit analysis, number of medical aid recipients and number of total population in each Dong was significant in explaining the differences of efficiency scores. The study model introduced the application of DEA model in benchmarking the patients between regions. It can be applied to identify the number of patients in each region which a hospital needs to improve their performances.

Plant Species Richness in Korea Utilizing Integrated Biological Survey Data (생물기초조사 통합자료를 활용한 우리나라 식물종 풍부도 분석)

  • The limitation in deriving the species richness representing the entire country of South Korea lies in its relatively short history of species field observations and the scattered observation data, which has been collected by various organizations in different fields. In this study, a comprehensive compilation of the observation data for plants held by agencies under the Ministry of Environment was conducted, enabling the construction of a time series dataset spanning over 100 years. The data integration was carried out using minimal criteria such as species name, observed location, and time (year) followed by data verification and correction processes. Based on the integrated plant species data, the comprehensive collection of plant species in South Korea has occurred predominantly since 2000, and the number of plant species explored through these surveys appears to be converging recently. The collection of species survey data necessary for deriving national-level biodiversity information has recently begun to meet the necessary conditions. Applying the Chao 2 method, the species richness of indigenous plants estimated at 3,182.6 for the 70-year period since 1951. A minimum cumulative period of 7 years is required for this estimation. This plant species richness from this study can be a baseline to study future changes in species richness in South Korea. Moreover, the integrated data with the estimation method for species richness used in this study appears to be applicable to derive regional biodiversity indices such as for local government units as well.

Structure of the Temperature and Salinity in 2003-2005 Profiled by the ARGO floats around the Ulleung-do area in the East Sea (ARGO 뜰개에 의한 2003-2005년 울릉도 주변 해역의 수온-염분 구조)

  • This study investigated the temperature-salinity spatio-temporal variability around the Ulleung-do Island (UI) by using CTD profiles obtained by the ARGO floats far the period of Oct.,2003 to Aug.,2005. The waterbody in the upper 700 m around the UI could be classified into five water masses, which is consistent to traditional water characteristics in the East Sea. In the upper surface layer, the temperature and salinity in fall season became even lower than those properties in the summer time. The East Sea Intermediate Water (ESIW) characterized by the salinity minimum layer shows the range of potential temperature between 1 to $5^{\circ}C$ and salinity lower than 34.06 psu. The ESIW lies approximately at 265 m depth with average thickness of 175 m. This thickness of the ESIW continues to be relatively uniform regardless of spatio-temporal space. However, the depth of the ESIW shows vertical variation influenced by the Ulleung warm eddy (UWE). Since the UWE lies in the upper layer, the Upper Portion of the Japan Sea Proper. Water (UPJSPW) is also affected to show the vertical variation. The influence extorted by the UWE reached down to 700 m depth in terms of temperature. The CTD profiles obtained with the high sampling rate by ARCO floats over two-year period provided with very useful and detailed informations in investigating the spatio-temporal variability In the study area.

  • VMS are installed in many Korean highways in oder to give drivers informations such as travel time to destination, congestion and Incident situation. However, some guidelines for install VMS are restricted in only geometric factors although human factors considering driver behavior are very important to affect the VMS installation. Therefore, this paper are focusing on developing and verifying the discriminant model for VMS installation considering human factors. As a result, following outputs are obtained ; (1) developing the discriminant model using human factors of driving simulation experiments in oder to predict driver reading VMS messages safely detour highway. (2) proving that driving experiences in highway, personal driving history, vehicle speed orderly affects VMS installation (3) verifying predictability of developed model by comparing the real values with predicted values. (4) suggesting that VMS should be installed off 3.2Km from the I.C. of rural highway.
