Hydrologic Regime Alteration Analysis in downward river by dam-specific(functions, size) through I.H.A (수문변화 지표법을 적용한 댐 특성 요소별 하류하천에 미치는 유황변화 분석)

  • 본 연구에서는 댐 특성(기능, 규모)별로 하류하천에 미치는 유량변화 문제를를 체계적으로 분석하고자 수문변 화지표법(Indicators of Hydrologic Alteration, Richter et al., 1996)을 적용하여 한국수자원공사에서 관리하는 소양강댐 등 11개 다목적댐과 광동댐 등 12개 용수전용댐의 일단위 유입량과 방류량 자료를 이용, 연최소 최대유량 크기와 지속기간, 유량변화정도 등을 분석하여 댐운영이 하류하천에 미치는 유량변화를 비교분석 하였다. 광동댐 등 12개 용수전용댐의 월 유량변화의 산정 결과, 갈수기에 해당하는 10월부터 다음해의 6월까지 8개월간은 댐건설전 월평균 방유량은 $0.64m^3/sec\sim3.05m^3/sec$이었으나, 댐건설후 월평균 방류량은 $0.33m^3/sec\sim2.99m^3/sec$로 -69.7%$\sim$167.8%의 분포를 나타내고 있으나 12월과 1월을 제외하면 댐 건설 이후 오히려 6.8%$\sim$69.7% 가 감소하였다. 우기철인 7월부터 9월까지 3개월간은 댐건설전 월평균 방류량이 $6.82m^3/sec\sim7.67m^3/sec$이었으나, 댐건설후 월평균 방류량은 $4.12m^3/sec\sim4.35m^3/sec$로 51.0%$\sim$55.1%가 감소하여 저수지 공용량을 이용한 저류효과가 다소 있었음을 알 수 있다. 용수전용댐과 다목적댐의 분석 결과를 비교하여 보면, 용수전용댐은 1일 최소유량의 경우는 평균적으로 76.52%가 증가하였으나 3일부터 90일 최소유량의 54.19%$\sim$67.19%까지 감소하여 갈수기 하류유량 개선효과는 없으나, 다목적댐의 경우는 1일 최소 유량은 743.76%가 증가하였으며 90일 최소 유량도 83.62%가 증가하여 갈수기 하류유량 개선 효과가 큰 것으로 분석되었다. 용수전용댐의 1일 최대유량의 경우는 37.8%가 감소되며 90일 최대유량은 38.5$\sim$51.0%까지 감소하여 홍수기 댐의 저류효과가 점차 증가하였다. 다목적댐의 경우는 1일 최대 유량은 59.4%가 감소하였으며 감소량은 점차 감소하여 90일 최대강우량은 30.1%가 감소하여 홍수기 댐 저류효과로 하류홍수량을 상당히 조절함을 알 수 있다.

Method of estimating exploitable groundwater amount considering relationship between precipitation and recharge and the variation of 10-year minimum precipitation (강수량-함양량 관계와 10년 최소강수량 변화를 고려한 지하수 개발가능량 산정 기법)

  • The amount of exploitable groundwater amount in Korea has been determined by multiplying the 10-year frequency low precipitation by the recharge rate. In practice, however, the interpretation of the frequency analysis of precipitation is omitted, and the value obtained by multiplying the average recharge rate by the minimum precipitation in the recent 10 years is used as the recharge amount. Therefore, the contradiction arises that the amount of precipitation to be applied is determined according to the period selection rather than the actual low precipitation by the 10-year frequency analysis. In this study, we proposed a method for estimating the exploitable groundwater amount using the recharge amount considering the moving averaged 10-year minimum precipitation and the size of precipitation. This method was applied to the Uiwang, Gwacheon and Seongnam areas and the exploitable groundwater amount was calculated and compared with the results obtained by conventional methods. As a result, it has been confirmed that if the 10-year minimum precipitation is selected in the period including the extreme drought, the problem of underestimating the exploitable groundwater amount can be overcome by using the moving average minimum precipitation.

Minimum Floor Area Ratio Estimation Model for Reconstruction Projects to Compensate for Loss of the Aged Long-term Public Rental Housing (노후 장기공공임대주택 손실보전을 위한 재건축사업의 최소용적률 수리모델)

  • Started in 1989 as Public Permanent Rental Housing scheme, public rental housing lease policy is increasing target residents and supply in each government by introducing new supply types. However, public housing business entities have difficulties in expanding the supply due to cumulated deficit. The research suggested long-term public rental housing reconstruction business as a method to preserve the cumulated deficit from the previous. Minimum floor area ratio mathematical model was suggested by defining the floor area ratio of reconstruction business as minimum, since housing sales profit after reconstruction could preserve aggregated deficit, and mathematically approached by considering the traits of long-term public rental housing reconstruction. The determinant for minimum floor area ratio mathematical model comprise cumulated deficit of the existing long-term public rental housing, land size of reconstructed sale housing, housing sales price per unit area, and business cost per unit area. Minimum floor area ratio mathematical model is expected to be the milestone for supporting decision making regarding the economic part of old long-term public lease housings' reconstruction scale, and expanding housing supply within urban area.

Application of Linear Goal Programming to Large Scale Nonlinear Structural Optimization (대규모 비선형 구조최적화에 관한 선형 goal programming의 응용)

  • This paper presents a method to apply the linear goal programming, which has rarely been used to the structural opimization problem due to its unique formulation, to large scale nonlinear structural optimization. The method can be used as a multicriteria optimization tool since goal programming removes the difficulty in defining an objective function and constraints. The method uses the finite element analysis, linear goal programming techniques and successive linearization to obtain the solution for the nonlinear goal optimization problems. The general formulation of the structural optimization problem into a nonlinear goal programming form is presented. The successive linearization method for the nonlinear goal optimization problem is discussed. To demonstrate the validity of the method, as a design tool, the minimum weight structural optimization problems with stress constraints are solved for the cases of 10, 25 and 200 trusses and compared with the results of the other works.

  • This paper introduces the surface roughness parameter, Rs to the characterization of joint roughness and quantitatively illustrates the influence of joint roughness on the joint shear strength. A new peak shear strength criterion for rock joints using Rs is suggested. The results show that the surface roughness parameter, Rs can appropriately reflect the degree of roughness for the rock joint surfaces tested in this study A measuring interval of 2mm and profile length of 5cm can be used to characterize the joint roughness of the rock core size surfaces; however, the scale of fluctuation, $\delta_\alpha$ should be considered to extend the surface roughness parameter, Rs to the large-scale field rock joint surfaces. For the smooth joint roughness, sliding of the rock cores is the principal shear mechanism; however, the breakage of roughness from the rock cores is inferred for rougher joint roughness.

소유권구조(所有權構造) 자본조달정책(資本調達政策) 및 배당정책(配當政策)의 상호관련성(相互關聯性)에 관한 연구(硏究)

  • 본 연구는 대리이론과 정보비대칭이론 그리고 패킹오더가설등을 기초로 재무정책의 결정요인과 상호의존관계를 규명하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 분석자료가 횡단면적 특성과 시계열적 특성을 동시에 갖고 있는 패널자료인 점을 감안하여 일반적인 OLS에 의한 회귀분석 대신에 동시적인 복합오차 모형과 일반화 최소자승법에 의한 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 자본조달정책 분석으로부터 배당비율과 내부자지분율이 재무레버리지에 각각 음(-) 및 양(+)의 영향을 주고 있음을 알 수 있었다.이외에도 경영위험, 수익성, 성장기회는 재무레버리지와 음(-)의 관계이며, 주식분산성과는 재무레버리지와 제한적으로 음(-)의 관계에 있었다. 그리고 기업규모와 경제적 부가가치는 재무레버리지와 양(+)의 영향을 주고 있음도 확인할 수 있었다. 배당정책 분석으로부터 재무레버리지는 대체로 그리고 내부자지분을은 제한적으로만 배당비율에 음(-)의 영향을 주고 있음을 확인하였다. 이외에도 경영위험과 수익성은 일관되게 배당비율과 양(+)의 관계를 갖고 있었다. 기업규모, 경제적 부가가치는 배당비율과 대체로 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인하였다. 성장기회는 제한적으로만 배당비율과 음(-)의 관계를 유지하고 있었다. 소유권구조 분석으로부터 재무레버리지는 내부자지분율에 대체로 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인하였다. 이외에도 기업규모, 경제적 부가가치 및 성장기회는 내부자지분율에 일관되게 음(-)의 관계를 갖고 있었다. 주식분산성과는 내부자지분율에 대체로 양(+)의 영향을 주고 있었다. 재무정책간의 상호의존성을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 내부자지분율과 배당비율은 재무레버리지에 각각 양(+)과 음(-)의 상호영향을 주고 있었으며, 내부자지분율은 배당비율에 제한적으로만 음(-)의 영향을 미치고 있다는 미약한 결과를 얻었다. 그러나 배당비율이 내부자지분율에 영향을 미친다는 증거는 확인할 수 없었다.

A Study on the Verification of Heavy Overhaul Maintenance Allowances for the Maintenance Shop (시뮬레이션과 BPR을 응용한 Layout 기반의 철도차량기지 중정비 검수 여유율 검증)

  • When designing the size of a heavy maintenance shop for rolling stock, it is required to arrange buildings and facilities in the minimum site so as to improve the maintenance efficiency. However, the fluctuation rate (hereinafter "allowance rate") on which factors such as service and maintenance fluctuation should be applied when estimating the size of the maintenance shop has been used without verification. The objective of the study is to calculate a reasonable allowance rate and to review its appropriateness through the analysis of the facilities layout and process simulation to absorb the above elements into the staying time in the heavy maintenance shop. Since the working time, in this study, is assumed to be average working time, 10~20% was given to the standard deviation of working time in consideration of difference between workers, and possible allowance rate was drawn by analysis of the simulation results. In the future, it is required to optimize the size of the shop by applying appropriate allowance rate through scientific review of such factors as O&M plan, R/S reserve rate, capability of the shop, outsourcing rate, standard work amount, and so on.

Numerical Homogenization in Concrete Materials Using Multi-Resolution Analysis (다중해상도해석을 이용한 콘크리트 재료의 수치적 동질화)

  • The stiffness properties of heterogeneous concrete materials and their degradation were investigated at different-levels of observations with aids of the opportunities and limitations of multi-resolution wavelet analysis. The successive Haw transformations lead to a recursive separation of the stiffness properties and the response into coarse-and fine-scale features. In the limit, this recursive process results in a homogenization parameter which is an average measure of stiffness and strain energy capacity at the coarse scale. The basic concept of multi-resolution analysis is illustrated with one and two-dimensional model problems of a two-phase particulate composite representative of the morphology of concrete materials. The computational studies include the meso-structural features of concrete in the form of a hi-material system of aggregate particles which are immersed in a hardened cement paste taking due to account of the mismatch of the two elastic constituents.

Reliable Hub Location Problems and Network Design (신뢰성에 기반한 허브 입지 모델과 네트워크 디자인)

  • The hub and spoke network is a critical network-based infrastructure that is widely applied in current transportation and telecommunications systems, including Internets, air transportation networks and highway systems. This main idea of hub location models is to construct a network system which achieves the economy of scale of flows. The main purpose of this study is to introduce new hub location problems that take into account network reliability. Two standard models based on assignment schemes are proposed, and a minimum threshold model is provided as an extension in terms of hub network design. The reliability and interaction potentials of 15 nodes in the U.S. are used to examine model behaviors. According to the type of models and reliability, hubs, and minimum threshold levels, relationships among the flow economy of scale, network costs, and network resiliency are analyzed.

A Study on the Proper Location and Scale of Bridges Crossing navigable Waterways Considering the Safety of Marine Traffic (해상교통안전을 고려한 해상교량의 적정 위치 및 규모에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, considerable number of bridges crossing over navigable waterways are under construction for the connection of coastal islands with mainland and the optimization of logistic system However, the most planned bridges have been initiated without paying much attention to ships safety aspects but with great emphasis on the economic factors, it has often been confronted with difficult social issues arising from opposing views and conflicts between building bodies and affected port users. The main reason for the conflicts is the lack of standards or specifications on the bridge design The proper location and scale of sea bridges are suggested in this paper considering fairway design criteria of both domestic and foreign countries, status analysis on the designs of existing and planned bridges, investigation findings of bridge-related marine accidents, the views of pilots and navigators collected through questionnaire. Since there is no general domestic or international design rules on bridge's scale, the design standards proposed in this paper may be useful at initial design stage of bridge.
