도서관에 대한 올바른 이용과 이해는 초등학교에서부터 출발해야 한다. 도서관 이용 교육은 국가 수준의 교육과정에서 인정받는 것이 중요할 뿐만 아니라 정규 교과서에 반영하여 교과 수업 시간에 지도할 수 있도록 하여야 한다. 일본은 문부과학성에서 고시한 ‘학습지도요령’에 의거 국어 교과서에 다각적인 도서관 이용 교육을 실시하고 있다. 본 연구는 일본의 소학교 국어 교과서에 반영된 도서관 이용 교육을 분석하여 앞으로 우리 나라 초등학교 국어 교과서 개발에 참고 자료가 되고자 한다.

This study is a comparative analysis of the layout of Korean textbooks in Korea and China in the 3rd and 4th grades. According to the times, textbooks are constantly changing and developing in various fields from contents to design. But a tool for learning remains was unchanged. Especially, the textbooks of elementary school are aimed at conveying basic knowledge by inducing interest of children. So the layout design is important. By combining typography, illustration, color, and margins in a well-balanced and uniform design, the contents of textbooks can be well transmitted to children. Therefore, this study has recognized the importance of layout and tried to suggest improvement by grasping the lack of Chinese textbook which is lagging behind design.

초등학교 교과서에 사용된 어휘의 수준을 보기 위해 교과서에 쓰인 어휘의 사용 빈도를 포함하여 결정에 영향력을 미칠 요소를 파악하고 요소간의 관계를 설립하여 교육용 어휘 설정의 나아갈 방향을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 7차 교육과정에 있는 초등학교 교과서에서 국어 어휘 교육 관련 항목을 살펴 이들의 단계별 학습 수준의 고려가 이루어져 있는지를 검토하고자 한다. 수준별 교육 과정에서 밝히고 있는 어휘 의미 교육의 위계가 세부적이고 치밀한 수준의 적정성을 바탕으로 하여 구성되어 있는지를 검토하고 초등학교 교육용 어휘 선정의 문제 분석을 통해 기본 어휘와 기초 어휘 분류의 적정 기준과 학습 활동에 있어 언어 사용 능력으로서의 어휘력과 언어 체계 속의 어휘력을 구분할 필요가 있음을 설명하고자 한다.

Since mathematical concepts are learned through the meaning of mathematical terms in school mathematics, learners must understand and use mathematical terms appropriately. However, the meaning of mathematical terms used in real life may be perceived differently from elementary mathematics textbooks, and this difference may cause confusion in learners' understanding of mathematical terms. Therefore, this study was intended to compare and analyze the mathematical terms in elementary mathematics textbooks used in Korea and a Korean dictionary. The findings revealed that the meaning of the textbooks was similar or different, and the subject indicated by each meaning was different. In this case, in order to prevent confusion among learners, it is necessary to supplement and guide each meaning by recognizing the difference between the mathematical terms in elementary mathematics textbooks used in Korea and a Korean dictionary.

The main aim of this study is to discover ways of promoting elementary school children's reading. The study provides a feasibility analysis of utilizing children's books in reading lessons, which is proposed as one of the ways. The contents of the four reading textbooks for Year 1 and 2 in Korea were analyzed and it was examined what and how children learn in reading lessons. The contents and methods of reading lessons in the UK and the USA were also investigated. It is considered that utilizing children's books in reading lessons which is the proposed way for promoting children's reading corresponds well with the goal of the curriculum of Korean. There is a high feasibility of applying the way to elementary schools in Korea. This is because the way has more advantages than the present textbook based reading lessons and the way is well utilized in elementary schools in the UK.

국어 교과는 말하기 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기 영역으로 구성되어 있으며, 높은 수준의 창의적 사고력을 길러준다. 국어 교과에서 받아쓰기는 우리나라 초등학교 교육 현장에서 가장 기본적으로 활용되고 있으며 현행 국어과의 교육과정에서 중요하게 다루어지고 있다. 그러나 매 회의 받아쓰기 문제지의 문항을 타당성과 신뢰도를 고려하여 조정하여 지도하기는 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위해 초등학교 교육 현장에서 사용되는 여러 가지 형태의 받아쓰기와 교과서를 분석하여 문장의 받아쓰기 등급을 정하였다. 문장의 받아쓰기 등급을 가지고 입력한 난이도에 따라 정해진 문장 받아 쓰기 등급이 같으면 받아쓰기 문제로 선택이 되고 문장 받아쓰기 등급과 다르면 다른 문장을 탐색하게 하였다. 최종적으로 선택된 문제는 여러 등급의 문제로 구성함으로써 문제의 타당성과 신뢰도를 높이고, 창의적인 국어사용 능력을 향상시키도록 하였다.

This study examines the propositional connections and markers for connecting propositions in the texts of the 3^rd- and 6^th-grade science textbooks developed under the 2015 Revised Science Curriculum. A selection of texts from Korean and social science textbooks were analyzed and compared to those from science textbooks as well. The propositional connections were classified into emphasis, elaboration, exemplification, listing, addition, order, correspondence, causal relation, condition, and purpose types. The markers for the relationship of propositions were classified as demonstrative, using conjunctive, using a comma, using distinctive linguistic elements, and no marker types. The results showed that the frequency of propositional connections in the texts of the 6^th-grade textbooks was lower than that of Korean and/or social science textbooks. However, the frequency of the propositional connections in the texts of the 3^rd-grade textbooks was found to be lower than that of the social science textbook but higher than that of the Korean textbook. The types of order, listing, condition, and causal relation were dominant in science as well as Korean and social science textbooks. Over 40% of the markers for the relationship of propositions were found to be the no marker type, with the ratio of the no marker type being especially higher in the categories of order and causal relation.

최근 주목을 받고 있는 디지털교과서를 위해 제안되었던 대부분의 연구 결과는 플래시 기반으로 구성되거나, 전용 클라이언트를 설치해야 하는 등 교과서의 본질에 충실하지 못한 문제를 가지고 있었다. 본 논문에서는 교과서의 본질에 충실하고, 학교에서는 물론이고 집에서도 사용 가능한 e-교과서 구현을 위해 전자책 표준 가운데 전 세계적으로 가장 널리 사용 중인 e-Pub 표준을 적용하고자 하였다. XML 기반의 e-Pub 표준 적용을 위해 초등학교 국어, 영어, 수학 교과서를 분석하였으며, 과목 별로 상이한 구조 표현을 위해 최소한의 요소(element)를 정의함으로써, 저자 별, 과목 별 구조적 특성을 자유롭게 반영할 수 있도록 하였다.

This study aims to analyze the types of occupations that are presented through the illustrations in the elementary school textbooks specifically designated by the government, from a perspective of a digital world.. Types of occupations were analyzed from a perspective of digital world by analyzing the illustrations presented in Korean language, social studies and ethics textbooks of elementary school year 3~6. Occupations that would disappear in future were compared and analyzed from a point of view of a report, "The Future of Employment: How susceptible are jobs to computerisation?". As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the occupations presented in the textbook were not reflecting the change of society and occupations, and there was absolutely no reflection of the times at all that highlights SW. This study has a significance for proposing directivity regarding writing of new textbooks at a current situation of new textbook work being processed, based on the 2015 amended curriculum.
