최근들어 초고속 통신망(xDSL, FTTH, Cable)을 이용하여 Head-End Server에서 가입자 댁내의 셋탑박스를 TV를 이용하여 멀티미디어(다채널 SD/HD 방송, VOD) 및 양방향 인터넷 연동 서비스(T-Portal, T-Communication) 등을 제공하는 것이 가능해 졌다. 더불어 고객들에게 인터넷을 통한 이 서비스의 품질을 보장하는 망 관리 관점에서의 기능도 필요하게 되었다. 고객들은 예전보다 더 나은 통신품질을 제공받기를 기대하고 있다. 따라서, 기존의 PE-to-PE 통신 품질 뿐만 아니라 CE-to-CE 통신 품질도 제공함으로써 고객체감품질 보증의 만족도를 향상시켜야 한다 본 논문에서는 IP 서비스(IPTV, VoIP 등)의 SLA에서 사용될 품질 지표에 관한 연구 및 PE-to-PE구간에서 부터CE-to-CE 구간 까지의 시스템 망 구성도, SLA 관리시스템에 관해 설명한다. 본 논문의 SLA 시스템에서는 가입자 댁내의 셋탑박스에 내장된 품질측정 Agent를 이용하여 통신품질 데이터를 측정한 후, 가공하여 SLA를 적용함으로써, 보다 정확한 고객체감품질 보증 및 고객에게 SLA의 신뢰성을 줄 수 있다. 또한, 서비스 제공자로 하여금 사전에 통신품질을 감시할 수 있는 기능을 제공함으로써 양질의 통신품질을 보장할 수 있도록 하는데 목적이 있다.

By development of the superhigh speed network and the Networked appliance, a home network environment was equipped quickly around the cyber apartment. The home network environment provides the abundant family life style which numerous appliance and tools are connected with the network. Recently it is caused by with appearance of the Networked appliance which is connected with the network, the service demand is augmented to hacking, wrong operation, breakdown, crime prevention in home automation, fire, and break-in. This paper planned and proposed the integrated crisis management service model in the environment of home network and Networked appliance. Namely, it classifies the Networked appliance crisis management service and it defines a crisis management message with the XML. The message where the crisis situation occurs is notified and controlled in wireless PDA or the hand phone or the specific authorization.

인터넷 활용 보급과 초고속 통신망의 확대는 능동적 학습, 상호작용적 학습, 협력학습 등의 원리들을 구현할 수 있다는 점에서 그 교육적 가치는 매우 높다. 즉, 개방적이며 상호작용적인 특성을 지니는 교육 체제로의 변화와 함께 우리들의 학습에 융합시킬 수 있는 컨텐츠가 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 학습자 중심의 자기주도적 공학교육 컨텐츠 개발에 대한 실질적인 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 교육 패러다임의 변화로 인하여 온 오프라인 컨텐츠의 활용이 높아지고 있으며 온라인학습을 통한 교수학습의 용이성과 오프라인을 통한 직접적 학습 피드백, 팀플레이 자료구성 및 발표 등의 컨텐츠가 추가적으로 필요하다. 또한, 기본적인 공학교육에 바탕하여 최신 정보에 대해 주도적이며 자발적인 학습과정을 통해 알아보고 그 정보의 분석과 발표를 통하여 효율적인 학습효과를 얻을 수 있다. 결론적으로, 정부에서의 국내 공학교육의 재정적인 지원 및 공학교육에 대한 대학 간의 교류를 더 마련해야하며 꾸준한 지원 및 교수학습의 방법과 전략에 대한 세부적인 연구와 개발이 필요하다고 본다.

Mugunghwa Satellite N0.1 is fired after operation was 13 years. The establishment of communication satellites, as well as Internet service backbone network the country, including satellite broadcasting services to provide multimedia services to general users and contribute to have a big role. High-speed Internet Access Network was expanded and satellite Internet subscribers Access Network rapidly decreasing, but it also a difficult situation, satellite communications network is still important as a component is located. Launched the first communication satellite to be launched and operated several commercial communications satellite, but satellite communications services and the pace of the system is in place. In this paper VSAT, satellite communications service to provide a service based on the status and problems of the status of operating system and will present alternative policies to solve.

In Korea, the situation to use a Information Communication Technology(In) was rapidly developed that the subscriber using CDMA mobile phone are about 3,601 ten thousand and the subscriber of very high-speed service for Internet using ADSL etc., are about 1,161 ten thousand, the base June, 2004. However, nevertheless the development of In and more rapid increase of subscriber, a farming, finishing villages and an islands are being exist a sharp difference of digital divide compare with a big city because of geometrical, economical reasons. In this paper, to put empasis in an Islands that the alienation class of Information are many exist, relatively small opportunity of information access because of geometrical, economical reasons, 1 search a ICT for Information Communication Network and propose a plan for Solution of Digital Divide of an Islands.

With rising demand of Internet Service, the existing communication for users (aced the restricted capability and speed, and also failed to satisfy consumer's desire for providing service-quality to them. It can be accomplished the broad-band on subscribe-line to offer various multimedia service to subscriber. But it takes a lot of times and costs. Consequently, it stands out the most economic subscribe-line for acheving a broadband scheme that new transmission technology can be realized the high-speed data communication as the present telephone-line and telephone by the general public of FTTH(Fiber To The Home). As using the pseudo line, this paper have the result that the mesured speed was improved by connecting a variable resistor on the line.

One of the most urgent problems facing 21 century might seem to be a preparation for an advanced education against an information society and have relation to a new information supporting system in teaching as well as leaning. Nevertheless, our educational circumstances have a lot of problems because an effective information supporting contents for teaching and leaning is insufficient. Especially, we've never been making every effort to develope educational contents providing students with a type of information and knowledge database even though the education which come into use internet has been raising a social issue. Therefore, we propose a model of learning contents for supporting www based distance learning system.

Purpose: A user centered web-based mental health management system may be particularly useful in Korea where there is widespread diffusion of personal computers and internet connectivity. The purpose of this paper was to describe the development of a web-based system for mental health management in adolescents using principals of a user centered design. Method: Our design process includes five distinct phases: needs assessment, analysis, design, development/testing/revision, and application release. Results: Web content includes an introduction, information about mental health management in adolescents, self-assessment and guidance, interventions for improving mental health, directory of self-help groups, and counseling and additional community resources. The web site was released using the URL: http://www.baejy.com/youth. Conclusion: The end result was a web based mental health management system for adolescents with a high degree of usability. The author believes that web-based mental health interventions in the future have true potential in helping Koreans who are suffering, or at risk, for mental health problems, particularly because of the stigma related to psychiatric therapy in Korea.

In recent years, e-Commerce is very active on the Internet, especially the World Wide Web alone: with the popularization of Internet using high-speed networks. Especially, Circulation of Multimedia Contents like MP3 data if widely being focused as one of the popular researches. However, the existing models of AOD (Audio On Demand) System lack substantial illegal copy protection or copyright protection. In this paper, we propose an AOD System that guarantees substantial illegal copy protection and copyright protection based on the PKI (Public Key Infrastructure). As transmitting MP3 data using the user's public key, the proposed .method prevents the attack of dropper during transmitting data. Also, it guarantees the right of users and distributors by prohibiting illegal users from using MP3 data.

Video data are retrieved and stored in various compressed forms according to their characteristics. In this paper, we present a generic data model that captures the structure of a video document and that provides a means for indexing a video stream. Using this model, we design and implement CVIMS (the MPEG-2 Compressed Video Information Management System) to store and retrieve video documents. CVIMS extracts I-frames from MPEG-2 TS files, selects key-frames from the I-frames, and stores in database the index information such as thumbnails, captions, and picture descriptors of the key-frames. And, CVIMS retrieves MPEG-2 video data using the thumbnails of key-frames and various labels of queries. And also, the system is accessible by a web interface.
