An experimental investigation was conducted to examine the hysteretic behaviors of ultra-high strength concrete tied columns. The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety of ultra-high strength concrete columns with 100 MPa compressive strength for the requirement of ACI provisions. Eight 1/3 scaled columns were fabricated to simulate an 1/2 story of actual structural members with the cross section $300{\times}300mm$ and the aspect ratio 4. The main variables are axial load ratio, configurations and volumetric ratios of transverse reinforcement. The results show that the deformability of columns are affected by the configurations and volumetric ratios of transverse reinforcement. Especially, it has been found that the behavior of columns are affected by axial load ratio rather than the amounts and the configurations of transverse reinforcement. Consequently, to secure the ductile behavior of 100 MPa ultra-high strength concrete columns, ACI provisions for the requirement of transverse steel may considered axial load level and the details of transverse reinforcement.

The material and geometrical nonlinear finite elment analysis of UHPFRC 50M composite box girder was carried out. Constitute law in tension and compressive region of UHPFRC and HPC were modeled based on specimen test. The accuracy of nonlinear FEM analysis was verified by the experimental result of UHPFRC 50M composite girder. The UHPFRC 50M segmental composite box girder which has 1.5% steel fiber of volume fraction, 135MPa compressive strength and 18MPa tensile strength was tested. The post-tensioned UHPFRC composite girder consisted of three segment UHPFRC U-girder and High Strength Concrete reinforced slab. The parts of UHPFRC girder were modeled by 8nodes hexahedron elements and reinforcement bars and tendons were built by 2nodes linear elements by Midas FEA software. The constitutive laws of concrete materials were selected Multi-linear model both of tension and compression function under total strain crack model, which was included in classifying of smeared crack model. The nonlinearity of reinforcement elements and tendon was simulated by Von Mises criteria. The nonlinear static analysis was applied by incremental-iteration method with convergence criteria of Newton-Raphson. The validation of numerical analysis was verified by comparison with experimental result and numerical analysis result of load-deflection response, neutral axis coordinate change, and cracking pattern of girder. The load-deflection response was fitted very well with comparison to the experimental result. The finite element analysis is seen to satisfactorily predict flexural behavioral responses of post-tensioned, reinforced UHPFRC composite box girder.

In this study, the flexural strength and curvature ductility factor of single and hybrid fiber reinforced ultra high strength concrete flexural members with conventional steel rebar were evaluated by experimental program with 3-UHSC beams. Test specimens were loaded by 4-pointed flexural loading. According to the test results, hybrid fiber reinforced UHPC test specimens had higher moment resisting capacity and ductility. For the safe design of hybrid fiber reinforced UHPC, test specimens were analyzed according to the sectional analysis method with material models suggested by K-UHPC design recommendation. Current K-UHPC design recommendation predict the moment resisting capacity of member conventionally and over-estimated the ductility.

Recently increasing interest in high-rise building around the world for more than 100 floor, the trend is the increasing use of high-strength and high-flowable concrete so as of productivity improvements and cost savings to improve the performance of the early strength development. This study is to reach the optimal combination by reviewing the performance of high-rise building which is required. The results, lower the ratio of W/B was an increase in compressive strength and early strength in the use of admixture decreased in the combination of higher replacement ratio of admixture.

In this paper, effect of steel fiber inclusion, compressive strength of matrix, shear reinforcement and shear span to depth ratio on the flexural behavior of UHPFRC(Ultra High Performance Fiber Reinforced Concrete) were investigated with test of 10-UHPFRC beam specimens. All test specimens were subjected to the flexural static loading. It was shown that steel fiber significantly improve the shear strength of UHPFRC beams. 2% volume fraction of steel fiber change the mode of failure from shear failure to flexural failure and delayed the failure of compressive strut with comparatively short shear span to depth ratio. UHPFRC beams without steel fiber had a 45-degree crack angle and fiber reinforced one had lower crack angle. Shear reinforcement contribution on shear strength of beams can be calculated by 45-degree truss model with acceptable conservatism. Using test results, French and Korean UHPFRC design recommendations were evaluated. French recommendation have shown conservative results on flexural behavior but Korean recommendation have shown overestimation for flexural strength. Both recommendations have shown the conservatism on the flexural ductility and shear strength either.

UHPC which was a structural material exhibiting very remarkable mechanical performances with compressive strength, tensile strength and flexural strength rising up to 200MPa, 15MPa and 35MPa, respectively. In addition, this material presents exceptional durability regard to the very low diffusion and penetration speeds of noxious substances like chloride ions This study was carry out to evaluate the effect of flexural behavior according to steel fiber type in UHPC. The results is showing that the steel fiber type have remarkable influence flexural strength Addition to it is showing that steel fiber type made little difference in the first cracking strength but considerable gap in the ultimate flexural strength to use the steel fiber of wave type.

As the concrete strength increases the degree of damage caused by the spalling becomes more serious because of the permeability. It is reported that the polypropylene (PP) fiber has an important role in protecting concrete from spalling. However, the excessive usage of PP fiber would not useful in spalling control and would decrease the workability of ultra high strength concrete. The high-temperature behaviors of high-strength reinforced concrete columns with various dosage of PP fibers and three types of fire endurance fibers were observed this study. In results, the ratio of unstressed residual strength of columns, in case of concrete strength 60MPa, increases as the dosage of PP fiber increases from 0% to 0.2%, however, the effect of fiber dosage on residual strength of column barely changes above 0.2% and in case of concrete strength 120MPa, PVA fiber is the most suitable fire endurance fiber in accounting fire endurance performance and workability.

In this study, the ultra high strength concrete which have 100, 150, 200MPa took the heat from 20℃ to 70 0℃ and the 0, 20% stress in normal condition's to evaluate stress-strain, residual compressive strength and thermal expansion deformation were evaluated. The heating speed of specimen was 0.77℃/min 20~50℃, 50℃ before the target temperature, and the other interval's heating speed was 1℃/min. As a result, the stress-strain curve of non-load specimen showed the liner behavior at high temperature when the specimen's strength increased more. If ultra high strength concrete got loads, its compressive strength tended to decrease different from the normal strength concrete. The thermal expansion deformation was expanded from a vitrification of quartz over 500℃. however, over the 600℃, it was shrinked because of the dehydration of the combined water.

In this study, prediction of later-age compressive strength of ultra-high strength concrete, based on the accelerated strength of concrete cured in 50, 60℃ warm water was investigated. W/B of 32, 23.5, 19% 3 levels were examined. And the specimens were cured in 50, 60℃ warm water. The results showed reliable accuracy by regression relation between 28day strength cured by standard curing method and accelerated strength of the concrete cured in warm water. And the specimens cured in 50, 60℃ showed more high strength development. So 60℃ curing could be considered in order to reduce the measurement error. As a result, the feasibility of 50, 60℃ warm water curing method at high strength level was confirmed.
