Bone grafting is widely used to bridge major bone defects or to promote bone union. Natural calcium carbonate (CC) has been used as a bone substitute material and used to scaffold for bone morphogenetic protein (BMP). The aims of this study is to evaluate the biocompatibility of cuttlebone (CB) and hydroxyapatite from CB (CBHA). Each material was shaped into disks (5 mm in diameter and 2 mm in thickness). To test biocompatibility, the disks were implanted into the dorsal subcutaneous tissue in mice. Fibrous capsule thickness around each disk was evaluated histologically at 2 and 4 weeks after implantation. Concerning biocompatibility, fibrous capsule thickness of CBHA was significantly thinner than that of CB and CHA (p < 0.05) at 2 and 4 weeks after implantation. Based on the clinical and histological results, CBHA would be a safe material for use inside the body and has more effective osteoconduction than CB.

A trade logistic informatization system under Open Systems Interconnection(OSI) includes a Port Management Information System, a Maritime Information System, and an Export and Import Batch Processing System. These have made a great contribution in the creation of more convenient and efficient management for the logistics industries in our country. However, this management is exposed to the technological problems of networks due to the explosive use in the sending and receiving of e-documents. For our country to grow as a center for port and logistic information, we should make the best use of the control systems using networks and further advance the export and import logistic systems. Therefore, this study aims to propose management systems for a composite network and an invasion detection system for efficient management of an e-trade network under OSI. Methods to rationalize the internal organizations such as coordination of organizations and human resources according to alloted network functions, commissions and arbitrary decisions, and reorganization of relevant regulations are not discussed here. This study looked at trade network under OSI from the aspect of practical business affairs and presented a basis for further interpretation.

In order to show the achievements of eminent monks who made great contributions to the spread and establishment of Buddhism in China, Huijiao (慧皎) compiled the Gaosengzhuan (高僧傳, Biographies of Eminent Monks) and set up ten subjects, the Shike (十科); meaning the ten rules for translating. The ten subjects served as an important framework for the Gaosengzhuan and its significance as a general history of Buddhism. This significance was further confirmed by the Xu-Gaosengzhuan (續高僧傳 The Continued Biographies of Eminent Monks), the Song-Gaosengzhuan (宋高僧傳 The Song Dynasty Biographies of Eminent Monks), and the Daming-Gaosengzhuan (大明高僧傳 The Great Ming Dynasty Biographies of Eminent Monks) which were compiled successively after the Gaosengzhuan. The ten subjects of the Gaosengzhuan underwent change in terms of the subject titles and their meanings in the subsequent versions of the Gaosengzhuan. In the Xu-Gaosengzhuan, Daoxuan (道宣) changed the titles of some subjects and added a new subject, and in the Song-Gaosengzhuan, Zanning (贊寧) gave new meanings to each subject without changing the ten subjects as they appeared in the earlier Xu-Gaosengzhuan. In the Daming-Gaosengzhuan, Ruxing (如惺) retained three of the subjects but removed seven. This evolution of formation and meaning in the ten subjects was the result of the author's deep recognition and also reflections on major changes and transitions in Buddhist history. Edification was emphasized in the Gaosengzhuan, self-discipline in the Xu-Gaosengzhuan, and wisdom and enlightenment were stressed in the Song-Gaosengzhuan. Ruxing showed that the collapse of the ten subjects reflected the decline of Buddhism. The fact that the ten subjects from each Gaosengzhuan were given different meanings demonstrates that these authors recognized Buddhist history differently. Therefore, it can be argued that the processing of Chinese Buddhist history has been reflected through each of their lens. But it is necessary to analyze and compare various aspects of each version of the Gaosengzhuan.

The content systems of Shinjung Tongguk Yoji Sungnam(신증동국여지승람, A Korean Geography Published in Chosen Dynasty) consist of 26 items and the main subject comprises administration, military and geography, This book does not suggest a simple geography but a comprehensive bibliography as an administrative guide book of a nation or a military operation manual. In particular, this book is made much of as a more valuable material in elevating the quality of the geographic book since it contained a 'Cheyong(제영)' item and reinforced the fields of humanities which could not be found out in other geography. The verses of Cheyong are recorded in the documents in the Chungchong, Kyungsang and Chulla Provinces, and these recorded verses In the tree provinces are more than half of the whole country's. The objects of recitation in the these verses are related to such natural phenomena and historic relics as the mountains, the livers, the wails and the royal tombs.

With the recent port environment, the integration of the separated berth is being actively progressed and the necessity of integration has been strengthening. Therefore, the application of existing gates have to review in order to reduce the truck turnaround time and to distribute the truck traffic volume in port container terminal. This paper analyzed the operation impact both the integrated gate and the separated gates. As the result of the analysis, this study suggests the separated gate system as an efficient design for gate operation considering integration of two individual berth.

Gate operations are very important as they are the starting point for export containers and the end point for import containers as far as checking and control exercised by terminal operators are concerned. The objective of this paper is to propose the design of separated gate system in order to reduce the truck turnaround time and to distribute the truck traffic volume in port container terminal. Because of a lot of container load and unload within short term, many trucks have to pass the gate at a time. This study suggests the separated gate system as an efficient design for gate operation considering integration of two individual berth.
