The purpose of this Convergence study was to provide basic data to prevent and intervene in depression of the young adult by examining the effect of COVID-19 on depression in single-person households, focusing on gender differences. The research was conducted with 198 male and 218 female young adults were sampled from the Seoul Welfare Survey(2020) and data were analyzed through hierarchical regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, negative changes in employment, income, and emotions due to Corona significantly increased the level of depression among young people. And the effects of COVID-19 sub-factors were different between male and female. Based on result, clinical and policy implications were suggested for managing with depression among youth in our society in consideration of gender differences in crisis situations such as COVID-19.

The purpose of this study is to explore the American Youth Film Director Damien Chazelle and his cinema world. Chazelle as a youth director directs three movies as (2014), (2016), (2018) in Hollywood, and represents youth directors in Hollywood. For this study, adopt two research methodologies which are 'Auteurism' and 'culture studies', and explore traits of esthetics, subject and context meaning by analyzing representative three movies. Lastly examines significance of his movies in Hollywood history. This study concludes that Chazelle is a 'Auteurism director of self-reflexivity' who has three things in common as 'narrative: success myth', 'mise-en-scene: Chazelle's world', 'self-reflexivity: Auteurism film directing'. Youth film director Chazelle is opening up the future of Hollywood as a 'Auteurism film of self-reflexivity' and the creative film directing of the youth generation.

This study analyzes business performance factors for young startup, one of the solutions to the youth unemployment problem, and explored the effects of individual characteristics, capability, and environmental factors of young entrepreneurs on business performance. The study targets young traders operating in traditional markets and shopping streets nationwide. The 159 sample data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and Smart PLS 2.0 for frequency analysis, reliability and validity analysis. The Entrepreneur's individual characteristics such as challenge spirit, start-up capability, and market characteristics affect absorptive capacity and interorganizational network. And absorptive capacity and interorganizational network affect financial and non-financial business performance. As a result, it was found that young traders need to reinforce their individual characteristics, start-up capability, and interorganizational networks in order to improve business performance. This study is intended to provide theoretical and practical implications.

This paper is meaningful in that it empirically studies the good job condition of which young people think and the impact of job search behavior on employment. In addition, employment status and additional job search performance were set as performance variables. The main research results of this study are as follows. First, as for the good job condition considered by young people, wages and salaries in terms of companies, job stability in terms of environment, and work-life balance in terms of individuals were found. Second, job search behavior was found to be a key variable influencing employment status and job search performance. Third, it was found that job-search stress injures employment. Finally, work experience promotes employment and job search performance. Therefore, to increase the employment success rate of young people, above all, various supports for increasing the frequency of young job seekers' active job search behavior are needed. To this end, it suggests that it is necessary to develop a customized youth policy service model and to provide systematic services to meet the needs of young people.

This study aim to demonstrate and categorize the status of level of mobile information utilization of the 2030 youth generation, and to identify factors that may affect the digital divide within the generation. For this purpose, 1779 data were analyzed using materials for the 2018 digital divide survey in Korea Ministry of Science and ICT. According to the level of information utilization, the consumers were categorized into three types : reference group (46.5%), high utilization group (27.2%), and low utilization group (26.3%). There were statistically significant differences in demographics variable, consumer capabilities, living satisfaction by type of consumer. In addition, the factors influencing the digital divide of the high utilization group and low utilization group were identified compared to the reference group. It is meaningful that this study confirmed the actual gap of information utilization and raised the possibility of the digital divide within the 2030 youth generation.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the types of latent profiles depending on the job satisfaction of youth entrepreneurs in South Korea and examine the influence of related variables. Latent profile analysis (LPA) was conducted using data from the 12th year of the Youth Panel Study. Results of the study revealed that there were five latent profiles based on job satisfaction among young entrepreneurs: lowest job satisfaction, mid-low job satisfaction, middle job satisfaction, mid-high job satisfaction, and highest job satisfaction. By applying multinomial logistic analysis, the influencing factors for each latent profiles have been derived. Gender, marital status, subjective health, self-esteem, entrepreneurial motivation, difficulty in start-up, person-job fit, intrinsic or extrinsic job values, business scale, income, work hour, education or training, and labor insurance were significant predictors of youth entrepreneurs' job satisfaction. Based on these results, the article discusses practical implications that can enhance the job satisfaction of young entrepreneurs.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the related variables of the resilience of Korean young adults. The sample was 464 young adults aged 19-34 years who had never been married, both parents alive and living with one or more of their parents in the Seoul metropolitan region. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test, paired t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS ver.23 and AMOS 23.0. The resilience of young adults was significantly related to the variables of gender, maternal helicopter parenting, bonding social capital, and bridging social capital. As a result, this study showed that the resilience of young adults was formed and promoted by the combined effects of the family-related environment and social-related environment. The results of this study provide meaningful data that should be considered in the counseling and education field when developing programs to build the resilience of young adults. Policy implications for improving the resilience of Korean young adults are discussed.

Local youth outmigration is increasingly growing. Various studies are being conducted to identify the factors contributing to this problem, but there is a lack of research analyzing each region individually. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the factors influencing youth outmigration in Busan and predict the risk levels of youth population outflow using machine learning techniques. By utilizing district-level data collected from the KOSIS, we divided the population into three groups based on age (the early 20s, late 20s, and early 30s) and employed Decision Tree and Random Forest algorithms to classify and predict the risk levels of youth population outmigration. The results indicate that the predictive model for youth outmigration risk levels achieves the highest accuracies of 0.93, 0.75, and 0.63 for each age group, respectively.
