A Stduy on Acoustics Estimation of PANSORI hall by Scale Model (축척모형을 이용한 판소리 홀의 음향평가에 관한 연구)

  • In order to the sound effects and acoustics estimation of PANSORI hall, we are researched into the impulse response measuring and convolution integral of dry music(PANSORI) by using 1/10 scale model. Results are as follwo. First, impulse responses are measured by spark sound of electrodes and it is absolutely necessary many times of synchronous calculating for the obtain to enough S/N ratio. Second, a simulation technique of scale model is confirmed one of an effectual method of indoor acoustics estimation. Further, using the these new techniques and hearing test, its are recognized that reverberation time of PANSORI hall is about $1.0{\sim}$12.$ second suitable.

  • 임의의 위치에 음상을 정위하는 방법으로, 머리전달함수(HRTF : Head Related Transfer Function)을 원음에 convolution 하는 기법이 사용된다. 하지만 더미헤드를 이용하여, 각각의 고도각과 방위각에서 측정된 HRTF는 사용자에 따라 정위감을 저하시킬 수 있다. 또한 좌표로 표현되는 영상과는 달리, 소리는 들려오는 방향을 정확한 좌표로 표현하기가 힘들다. 이에 본 논문은 비개인화된 HRTF를 사용하여 음상을 정위하는 경우의 정위감 개선에 대한 방법을 제안한다. 정위감 개선을 위해 음상을 정위하려는 위치 주변의 HRTF를 그룹화하는 방법에 대해 연구하였으며, 그룹화된 HRTF를 이용하여 정위한 음상의 청감평가를 수행하였다.

  • The present article has the purpose of evaluating subjective response of Won Buddhism sanctums by psychoacoustics experiment. Furthermore, basing on this experiment, the present article makes a suggestion of a physical sound-evaluating index. To achieve the purpose, I conducted an psychoacoustics experiment at 6 sanctuaries out of the representing 40 sanctuaries of Won Buddhism sanctums, which size is bigger than 1,000 m$^3$. I made a reanalysis with 3 Buddhist sanctums out of the subjects of psychoacoustics experiment which are generally rated superior. From the result, I can make each evaluation type into two types, sound clarity and space sense of sound. Also, I make various suggestions of physical parameter, with which I can evaluate the proper sound condition for Won Buddhism sanctums.

  • This study is a research that evaluates and analyzes on the subjective reaction of Won buddhism small sanctum through psychoacoustics experiment. For doing it, after choosing of 5 Won buddhism small sanctums of which its building volume at $400m^{3}{\sim}650m^{3}$, a psychoacoustics experiment has been conducted. Based on those A, B, C, E temple-halls which appeared as higher than 'average' in the result of subjective reaction evaluation of the Won buddhism small sanctum through psychoacoustics experiment, it could be classified as the conclusion of the factor analysis: the first factor is 'space sense of sound', the second factor is 'intimacy-feeling with sound' and the third factor is 'clearness of sound', respectively.

  • 임의의 위치에 음상을 정위하는 기본적인 방법으로, 머리전달함수(HRTF : Head Related Transfer Function)을 원음에 convolution하는 기법이 사용된다. 또한 머리전달함수의 주파수 영역에서의 보간을 이용하여 이동음 효과를 생성할 수 있다. 하지만 더미헤드를 이용하여, 각각의 고도각과 방위각에서 측정된 머리전달함수는 사용자에 따라 정위감을 저하시킬 수 있으며, 클릭음 발생, 보간 특성의 변화등의 문제점이 발생하게 된다. 또한 좌표로 표현되는 영상과는 달리, 소리는 들려오는 방향을 정확한 좌표로 표현하기가 힘들다. 이에 본 논문에서는, 이동음 궤적상의 머리전달함수와 그 주변의 머리전달함수를 선형 보간법으로 그룹화하여 생성된 새로운 머리전달함수를 이용하여 이동음을 구현하는 방법을 제안한다. 또한, 생성된 머리전달함수를 이용하여 구현한 이동음의 청감평가를 수행하여 개선 효과를 확인하였다.

  • 최근 사무환경에서 컴퓨터 사용시간이 급증함에 따라 컴퓨터 소음의 불쾌감으로 인한 저소음형 컴퓨터에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 효율적인 소음조절을 위하여 컴퓨터 소음에 대한 실태 조사를 위하여 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 물리적 측정치와 더불어 심리음향학적 각종 파라메타를 계산하였다. 또한 일반적 업무 Task가 주어진 상태에서 컴퓨터 소음에 대한 근무자의 상하한계치 설정을 위한 청감실험을 실시하였다. 설문조사 결과, 가장 시끄럽게 인식되는 소음은 팬소음(사용자 컴퓨터)과 키보드 사용음(타인 컴퓨터)으로 나타났으며, 약 55%의 사용자들이 보통 컴퓨터 소음에 대해 시끄럽게 느끼고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 현재 사용중인 컴퓨터의 소음에 대해 사용자의 약 20% 정도만이 조용하게 느끼며, 컴퓨터 소음이 업무효율을 떨어뜨린다는 응답도 약 35%로 나타났다. 팬소음, CD-Rom 구동음, HDD 작동음에 대해 청감실험을 실시한 결과, 각 소음의 상하한치는 각각 31∼51dB(A), 34∼54dB(A), 34∼58dB(A)로 나타났다.

  • Psycho-acoustic experiments were carried out to know the inhabitant's response on floor impact noises due to floor structure types. The response values for tapping machine, bang machine and impact ball were 4.4~6.06. And children walking and adult walking were 1.67~2.97. Using 11 scale response tests, children and adult walking was not irritate to dwellers and children running was disturbing.

  • This study investigated that the preference model of soloist performers for both vocal and instrumental types in terms of a stage support parameter, ST1. The test was carried out on a stage of a fan-shaped multi-purpose hall with orchestra shell. Objective measurements were carried out at 15 positions on the stage to evaluate various stage condition. The results showed that ST1 varies between -19.9 and -11.3 dB. Vocal and instrumental players participated in performance evaluation test as they played at 5 selected positions according to ST1 values. Players' preference was evaluated by 5-point rating and rank ordering method. As a result, it was found that the preference model of vocalist is different from that of instrumentalist. It was also found that the ST1 does not correlate well with the performer's preference.

  • In this study the drainage noises were investigated for the subjective allowing limitation and the testified classes. 7 point scale was selected to evaluate the annoyance level with vocabularies. As a result, 'a little annoying' is the most suitable expression for the allowing limitation, and the sound pressure levels for the urinal was 43.5㏈ and the bathtub was 44.6㏈.

Development of Noise Annoyance Scale and Criteria of Residential Noises through Auditory Experiments (청감실험을 통한 생활소음의 평가척도 및 기준 설정)

  • A 7-point verbal noise annoyance scale for residential noises was developed in this study. An auditory experiment using major residential noises such as air-borne, bathroom drainage, and traffic noises was conducted to develop a noise annoyance scale for rating residential noises and allowable limit of them. The modifiers used in the scales were selected according to the method proposed by ICBEN(international commission on the biological effect of noise) Team 6. Results showed that the intensity of the selected words in the 7-point noise annoyance scale was highly correlated with noise levels. and that the intensity difference between each pair of successive levels in the 7-point annoyance scale was almost identical. The allowable limit of residential noise was also investigated in the auditory experiment and that of airborne, drainage and traffic noises were 42.3 dB(A), 41.0 dB(A) and 42.7 dB(A), respectively.
