철도 레일빔 설계법에 대한 연구 (Design of the Railbeam Lengths at the Roadbed)

  • 본 논문은 레일빔의 길이 산정에 관해서 지반공학적 측면에서 다룬 내용을 담고 있다. 레일빔은 철도횡단공사에서 가설기간 중에 부등침하 방지 목적으로 레일의 내측과 외측에 설치하는 보강레일을 말한다. 이러한 레일빔은 최근 철도를 횡단하는 지하 구조물의 시공이 증가해서 기존 철도 시설물의 안정에 대응하고자 많이 설치하고 있다. 그러나 레일빔 길이 설계에 관한 기준이 없어 설계에 어려움이 있을 뿐만 아니라 레일빔 길이 부족으로 탈선사고까지 이어지는 경우가 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 레일빔 길이 산정 방식에 대하여 토사지반과 암반지반으로 분류하여 Flow chart를 제시하였으며 레일 조합 및 위치에 대한 Case study를 실시하여 효과적인 레일의 조합과 위치에 확보할 수 있었다.

도시철도 고객서비스 만족을 위한 역 특성요소의 표준화 관리방안 (A Standardized Management Plan on the Characteristic Factor of Station to Meet a Customer Service in the Urban Transit)

  • 도시철도 이용고객이 요구하는 수요와 도시철도가 제공하는 공급인 '절약된 시간'은 상시 균형을 유지해야 한다. 균형에 영향을 미치는 특성요소로는 통행량, 고객접점시설물, 장애건수, 고객민원(VOC), 고객이동시간, 환승역 여부로 선정하였다. 또한 각 특성요소별로 등급을 차별화시켜 5,6,7,8호선 전 역사의 종합등급을 산출하였다. 이는 특성이 상이한 역사를 차별화시키고 맞춤형 서비스의 기준을 표준화시킨 것이다. 아울러 표준화 실행의 일환으로서 인적,물적관리의 개선을 위해 시설물 관리 표준화 도면을 작성하였다. 도면에는 역 특성요소 등급 및 종합평가 등급을 표기하고, 고객의 주요 이동동선, 안전사고 발생개소 등을 도면화하였다. 결론적으로 역사의 차별화된 관리 및 점검효과의 극대화를 체질화함으로서 고객의 신속한 이동보장, 이동시간 단축 등 고객서비스 만족도를 지속적으로 개선하고자 한다.

기관사의 성격과 스트레스가 직무만족 및 사고에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Personality and Stress of Railway Drivers on Job Satisfaction and Accidents)

  • The purpose of this article is to find out and analyze the diverse factors that are incurring stress to the railway drivers, and to depict the relationship among personality, job stress, job satisfaction, and accidents. To attain this purpose, the authors designed the questionnaire based on in-depth interview, scrutinized the factors of stressors, and statistically tested the study themes on the moderating effects of Personality Factors such as Locus of Control, Self-Efficacy, and Organization-Based Self Esteem on the relationship between Job Stressors and Job Satisfaction/Accidents, for the 212 samples received from KORAIL, Seoul Metro, and Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit. Resultedly, one of the findings indicate that certain aspects of a driver's personalities, as measured by locus of control, self-efficacy, and organization-based self esteem play important roles in predicting the level of job satisfaction, job stress and accidents.

분기기 고장 시 열차사고방지를 위한 안전시스템 모델링 (A Study on the Safety System Modeling to Prevent Train Accident by Turn-out Failure)

  • A turnout serves to switch train from one line to another. The turnout consists of a Point which is switchs the rail to induce direction, and a Crossing which is cross over two line on the plane surface, and a Lead where is middle section in Point to Crossing. Point machine, consists of a turnout, is important facilities in railway signal, that is safety issue relates in derailment of the train. Recently, train delay and accident frequently occurred because of the turnout include in a point machine trouble of electrical and mechanical. So in order to prevent train accident the research is advanced, install of normal and reverse indication lamp in a point machine, development of adherence detector for sensing the status of adhesion between the stock rails and tongue rails etc. In this paper investigates the problem which is connected with a turnout trouble, include in a point machine, occurrence at the time of train accident, and then proposed to the safety system model in order to prevent the train accident in turnout.

  • Recently, the rise of the rail temperature is accelerating further due to the global warming, and the track stability(buckling) problem result from the axial force in the continuous welded rail(CWR) have become the most important issue. This track stability threatens the security of running trains in the hot summer. In order to prevent the track buckling in the hot summer and ensure the safety of the running train, as a part of the safety control plan for KORAIL high-speed railway, the train speed restriction according to the rail temperature was introduced in 2004. However, the conceptual and theoretical background of train-speed restriction is uncertain. In this paper, the theoretical study about the reasonable train-speed restriction is performed. For this purpose, the risk-based probabilistic stability evaluation of the track buckling is applied.

  • Because the damages of corrosion resulting from the chloride ion are very serious, many research studies have been performed to measure the penetration depth of the chloride ion. However, there is a problem with data selection obtained from collection during experiments. In this study, it appears that the collected data are not conformed to a normal distribution. The result of this study will play a very important role, as a first step for the development and construction of a forecasting system to help determine a reliable service lifetime of marine structures.

  • Unbalanced systems, such as distribution systems, have difficulties in fault locations due to single-phase laterals and loads. In this paper, a novel fault location algorithm is suggested for a line to line faults using inverse theorem of matrix on electric power lines. The fault location for balanced systems has been studied using the current distribution factor, by a conventional symmetrical transformation, but that for unbalanced systems has not been investigated due to their high complexity The proposed algorithms overcome the limit of the conventional algorithm using the conventional symmetrical transformation, which requires the balanced system and are applicable to any electric power system but are particularly useful for unbalanced distribution systems. The simulation results oriented by the real distribution system are presented to show its effectiveness and accuracy.

사고전동차 구조체의 안전진단에 관한 고찰 (On Study the Safety Diagnosis of Carbody Structure for Crashed Electric Multiple Units)

  • This paper describes 3D Dimensional Measurement(EDM testing) and tensile testing results of carbody structure for crashed EMU(Electric Multiple Units). Tensile tests were performed on two different types of specimens in order to evaluate the strength changes before and after damages, obtained from plastic deformed area and nondeformed region of the crashed EMU. And Structural analysis of EMU was performed for the criteria of safety assessment. Structural analysis using commercial I-DEAS software provided important information on the stress distribution and load transfer mechanisms as well as the amount of damages during rolling stock crash. The testing results have been used to provide the critical information for the criteria of safety diagnosis.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of perceived job insecurity, organizational commitment, and social climate on safety behavior and accidents. The research on this subject was conducted in the Korean National Railroad. The cross-level model was hypothesized to study causal relations among these variables. The cross level model combines individual level approach with group level approach. In this model supervisors(group level) affect organizational commitment(individual level) and at the same time safety climate(group level) influences safety behavior(individual level) positively. Traditionally operators have been blamed as accident causer. This study, however, shows that organizational and systematic factors are as much critical factors determining safety behavior and accidents.

고무차륜 경량전철의 충돌안전도 연구 (A Study on Crashworthiness of Rubber Tired AGT)

  • In the standard specifications for the urban EMU (Electric Multiple Unit) train, there are several items to ensure safety against accidents. The 21st to the 23rd items have much to do with the crashworthiness of the urban EMU train. In this study, a rubber-tired Automated Guide-way Transit (AGT) System under development by KRRI is numerically evaluated from the point of view of crashworthiness by applying the above crashworthiness items. The numerical results show that the design of the AGT satisfies the 22nd and 23rd items. But a design modification to adopt mechanical fuses is recommended to reduce impact accelerations with respect to the 21st item.
