The Investigation on the Possibilities of Assumption Reversal Thinking Skill: Focusing on the Characteristics of the Idea Generation Process by University Students (역발상적 사고 기법의 가능성 탐색: 대학생들의 아이디어 생성 과정의 특징을 중심으로)

  • In the creative problem solving processes, the core was to generate unique and various ideas. Thus, an assumption reversal thinking skill needed to be considered as a concrete method that could help students who have difficulties with generating ideas. In this study, we applied the assumption reversal thinking skill to university students and explored the characteristics of the idea generation process. On the basis of the results, we found that the assumption reversal thinking skill helped students generate new ideas, inducing their perspective changes. Therefore, we could ascertain the possibilities of the assumption reversal thinking skill as a thinking frame supporting students' idea generation. However, there is a need to develop methods for students to exclude prejudice by theoretical judgment, intervention of the value, and experience for fostering more effective assumption reversal thinking. Also, ways should be considered so that students would be able to cultivate task commitment and courage of implementing new ideas, bearing criticism from others.

  • This study aims to suggest a creative design-inducing, teaching-learning method which can enhance the efficiency of design education by helping learners improve their creative thinking and solve problems and apply it to diverse curriculums with a goal of having a positive effect on the development of learners' creativity. For this, it was actually applied to game character design from Department of Game Engineering, formative arts from Department of Beauty Care and Digital Graphics from Department of Visual Design using the action research method, and a teacher defined course topic, contents of the course and creative thinking tools and promoted the class. As a result, it was confirmed that it is effective in deriving creative design and increasing learners' interest and participation in class. When a creative thinking tool was used, however, the outcomes of creative learning slightly varied depending on learners' competence.

  • In order to make new productions; first of all, a creative idea is necessary and significance. For developing new production, a creative thinking must be a first step. In other words, a creative thinking can be a solving a problem. Better education for the formal and unformal education, various information and using space are able to develop ability of problems. Group study can students can find their talents, capacity, gifts, and ability. Also, students help to develop ideas of an individual. Therefore, through an effort to advance computer technology, developing food models in creative ideas for formal and informal education. As a result. good efforts and aspects can be produced.

  • In recent universities, the new-normal era. There is a growing interest in nurturing creative thinking learners who have converged thinking necessary for the AI era based on big data. This study intends to propose the expansion of science liberal arts education necessary to meet the education needs of these universities. To this end, first the status of convergence education in universities and the elements necessary for the learners' creative ideas were examined. Second, learners who took a convergence lecture at a university will look at the development case of in which convergence thinking, creative thinking, and gaming are implemented. Based on this, we would like to propose an expanded organization and operation of science liberal arts education as a way to enhance the creative thinking of learners and their competencies through convergence classes at universities.

  • We need education program and contents that satisfy on-off line's education maximize an initiative spirit development in an absence of UI design for infants and elementary students. For the multiplicity of inflection of these initiative spirit development education program, we need development of contents and teaching materials(Cre-kids) that can educate both in on-line and in off-line. Cre-kids are divided of four areas that are increased fluency, flexibility, originality and delicacy. Four areas are ideas of language, visual, making and computer. Through each area, we can develop children's systematic modeling idea ability. And we divide of fluency, flexibility, originality and delicacy each four areas and evaluate each aspect and mark for index. That is CDQ(Creativity Design Quotient). Through the evaluation result, we will be able to study about a modeling initiative spirit index.

Creative Idea and an Analysis of Fashion Design on Korean Image through the SCAMPER Technique (SCAMPER에 의한 한국적 이미지의 복식디자인 분석 및 창의적 발상)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the plans, which can creatively utilize Korean images by introducing the SCAMPER technique, one of the techniques used to create ideas in the fashion design process. For the research methods, the case study which collects all the masters' theses relating to the fashion design process applied Korean images for recent 10 years and the literature study through books, masters' theses, academic journals' theses, news articles, and Internet data were done together. As for the result of the study, the level of utilization of Korean images in the researches on Korean fashion designs stayed simple utilization, which used a motif as it is in its original form or changed only the size. Furthermore, of the 39 theses reviewed in the study, 59% of them used less than 3 of the 7 SCAMPER items. Therefore, it could be said that the Korean images are restrictively being used in the fashion design studies. If SCAMPER is to be actively utilized as a design process in the future, it is expected that it will make great contributions to the development of creative Korean fashion design.

Proposal of a condensing & amplification method for conceiving a good advertising visual idea (광고비주얼의 아이디어발상을 위한 압축$\cdot$확장법의 제안)

  • There were several methods of conception in seeking a visul idea of the advertising design. However, such conventional methods had a tendency that the degrees of utilization and satisfation are lacking. Also, in a thumbnail sketch phase, there was a great tendency to seek an idea based on pictorial elements only and thus depended chiefly on the existing references. Accordingly, originality was not high. Further, under the background which any common methods of a designer and a copywriter, if they have effective. I would like to propose a visul idea conception method, a condensing & amplification method for maintaining a logical system of advertising intelligence and for facilitating creative visualization through a language-oriented approach. The condensing & amplification method is the method of conception, in which after an appeal point as per advertising intelligence is passed through sentence and phrase and then condensed with word, various variation for the word develop, and by selecting the most creative word of the results, the thumbnail sketch commences based on the results amplified with the phrases and sentences.

  • Design VE is a kind of contradictive administrating that pursue both value improvement and cost reduction, whereas TRIZ is a method used to solve contradiction based on its invention principal. This paper comprehended the problems regarding the object through design VE using function analysis, and presented a number of methods to solve this by using the principal of TRIZ. This study compared the characteristics of Design VE and TRIZ, and suggested a procedure that integrates both Design VE and TRIZ.
