청소년의 기회발견, 창의성 역량, 자기주도 학습력이 진로결정 자기효능감에 미치는 영향: 기업가정신을 매개로 하여

  • 21세기 4차 산업혁명 시대에 급변하는 산업과 기술 발전으로 인해 기존의 직업과 일자리의 위협과 변화가 커짐에 따라 청소년의 진로에 대한 준비는 더욱 절실해졌다. 청소년들은 급격한 기술 발전과 시장의 변화로 인한 기존 직업 소멸, 일생에서의 직업 활동기간의 비약적인 증가가 맞물려서 평생 한 번은 창직이나 창업을 해야만 하는 시대를 살고 있다. 이에 대비하기 위해 진로 및 직업활동에 대한 기회를 발견하고, 급변하는 시대와 시장의 다양한 문제들을 창의적으로 해결하고, 남들과 다르게 자신만의 방법으로 다방면의 경험과 지식을 쌓기 위한 자기주도적 학습력이 필수가 되었다. 본 연구는 그동안 다루어지지 않았던 청소년의 기회발견, 창의성 역량, 자기주도 학습력이 진로결정 자기효능감에 미치는 영향에 대해 청소년 진로교육 사례를 중심의 연구이다. 청소년에게 기회발견, 창의성 역량, 자기주도 학습력이 기업가정신의 매개로 하여 진로결정 자기효능감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 것이 주요 연구목적이다. 분석결과, 첫째로 기회발견, 창의성 역량, 자기주도 학습력은 진로결정 자기효능감에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 기업가정신의 향상 정도에 따라 진로결정 자기효능감에 매개 역할을 부분적으로 하고 있음이 확인되었다. 이와 같은 결과는 앞으로 청소년의 진로 및 기업가정신 교육에 중요한 자료가 될 것이며, 향후 청소년 진로 및 기업가정신 교육 프로그램의 연구개발을 위해 관련 연구가 확대 되어야 할 것이다.

A Study on Effect of Social support on Baby boomer's Entrepreneurial Opportunity Competence: Focusing on Mediating Effect of Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy (사회적지지가 베이비부머의 창업기회역량에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 창업자기효능감의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study analyzed the effects of social support on entrepreneurial opportunity competence for Baby boomer (born in 1955-1963), focusing on mediating effect of entrepreneurial self-efficacy. The governmental start-up policy and entrepreneurship education are mostly conducted for the college students and young generation mainly through such programs as the youth start-up school. In addition, studies on the effects of social support and institutional support on the entrepreneurial intention of young generation entrepreneurs are being actively pursued. Meanwhile, the study for baby boomers is on the welfare side mainly. Although they are starting to make their living-based business without prior careful preparation for their livelihood after retirement, while there is little study on the effect of social support for this baby boomer on entrepreneurial opportunity competence needed for opportunistic entrepreneurship. Therefore, in this study, in order to investigate the effect of social support on Baby boomer's entrepreneurial opportunity competence, an empirical analysis of the 387 questionnaires collected by the baby boomers living in Seoul and Gyeonggi provinces were conducted. As a result of analysis, First, Social support has a significant effect on both Opportunity recognition and Opportunity assessment of entrepreneurial opportunity competence. Second, In the effects of social support on self-efficacy were found to be significant in Emotional and Instrument support only on Self-confidence, In Emotional support and Feedback support only on Self-regulated efficacy & Emotional support and Instrument support only on Goal challenge were found to be a significant effect. Third, Self-regulated efficacy and Goal challenge in the Entrepreneurial self-efficacy on Entrepreneurial opportunity recognition were found to be a significant effect. All Self-confidence, Self-regulated efficacy & Goal challenge in the Entrepreneurial self-efficacy on Entrepreneurial opportunity assessment were found to be a significant effect. Fourth, Indirect effect of social support on entrepreneurial opportunity competence mediated by Entrepreneurial self-efficacy was found to be partially significant.

Entrepreneurs' Competencies and Business Performance: A Meta-Analysis (창업가의 역량이 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 메타분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a theoretical basis for future studies by systematically integrating existing empirical studies that examine the relationship between the entrepreneurs' competencies and business performance. As the results of empirical studies examining the relationship between the entrepreneurs' competencies and business performance are mixed, this study tries to derive different results from individual studies through meta-analysis into standardized statistics(effect sizes). To accomplish the purpose, this study developed hypotheses about the positive effects of the entrepreneurial competencies including opportunity recognition competency, managerial competency, technical-functional competency, strategic competency, and relationship competencies on the business performance through theoretical reviews of the literature. Also, this study conducted meta-analysis with 15 sample data using open source based statistical program 'R'. The results of this study are as follows. The opportunity recognition competency, managerial competency, technical-functional competency, strategic competency, and relationship competency were found to significantly affect financial business performance. Also, each of the factors had a moderate effect size on the performance. Among these competencies, the most effective factor was the strategic competency, followed by the opportunity recognition competency, technical-functional competency, and relationship competency. There is still no study using meta-analysis on the relationship between the entrepreneurs' competencies and business performance in South Korea. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to provide implications for developing the theoretical basis of future studies.

A Study on the Effects of Young Entrepreneur Competency on Startup Performance: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Network Activities (청년창업가의 역량이 창업성과에 미치는 영향 요인에 관한 연구: 네트워크활동의 매개효과 중심으로)

  • This study analyzes the effect of enterepreneurial competencies on start-up performance through network activities for young entrepreneurs. Enterepreneurial competencies are composed of opportunity recognition competencies, marketing competencies, technical competencies, and creative competencies. A total of 354 questionnaires collected from young entrepreneurs residing in the country were used for empirical analysis. SPSS v28.0 and PROCESS macro v4.3 were analyzed based on the research model of a single-parameter single-mediated model. As a result of the analysis, first, it was found that among the enterepreneurial competencies, opportunity recognition competencies, marketing competencies, technical competencies, and creative competencies have a positive (+) significant effect on network activities. Among them, it was found that marketing competence has the greatest effect on network activities and technical competence has the least effect. Second, network activities were found to have a significant effect on start-up performance in a positive (+) direction. Third, among enterepreneurial competencies, opportunity recognition competence, marketing competence, technical competence, and creative competence were found to have a positive (+) effect on start-up performance. Among them, it was found that creative competence had the greatest effect and technical competence had the smallest effect. Fourth, network activities were found to mediate between enterepreneurial competencies and start-up performance. As for the relative effect size of the indirect effects of independent variables, it was found that marketing competence had the greatest effect on start-up performance and technology competence had the smallest effect. The academic implications of this study include investigating the significance and relationship of various variables, providing verification of theoretical frameworks related to entrepreneurship, identifying the main drivers of start-up success, and suggesting the importance of the network between enterepreneurial competencies and start-up performance. In addition, the practical implications of this study suggest the importance of marketing competencies for networking, and suggest differentiation of competencies. It emphasizes the strategic role of creative competence and provides guidance to policymakers for supporting start-ups on customized policies for fostering valuable start-ups.

A Conceptual Study on the Types of Entrepreneurial Opportunity and Laboratory Start-ups (창업 기회의 유형과 실험실 창업에 대한 개념적 연구)

  • This study focuses on the proposition that the qualities and environmental conditions required for exploring entrepreneurial opportunities and realizing entrepreneurial opportunities depend on the types of entrepreneurial opportunities. In particular, this study aims to identify the type of entrepreneurial opportunities for laboratory start-ups, which have recently been gaining policy level attention. If the type of entrepreneurial opportunities for laboratory start-ups is identified as discriminative, appropriate start-up support policies and training programs can be established. For this study, eight major papers were identified among the papers of last 30 years related to the types of entrepreneurial opportunities. After, the classification attributes for each opportunity type were derived. Then, the existing theories of recognition, discovery and creative opportunities were organized, critically reviewed and reorganized. In addition, the substance of laboratory start-ups was verified according to the standardized classification attributes of the revised and reorganized opportunity types and newly classified as 'creative opportunity'. This study also presents networking capabilities and market orientation as examples of the capabilities needed for entrepreneurs of creative opportunity type. The implication of this study is that it makes it easy to discriminate ontological typology of entrepreneurial opportunity, derives important classification attributes, and that it organizes them conceptually. In addition, it critically reconstructs the problems of confusion in the existing typology, and based on this, the type of entrepreneurial opportunities for laboratory start-ups is determined as creative opportunity. These achievements can contribute to the improvement of start-up policies and start-up training programs according to the types of entrepreneurial opportunity and laboratory start-ups in the future, resulting in realization of actual results at the start-up sites.

A Study on the Factors Affecting the Entrepreneurial Intentions of Manufacturing Industry Employees: Focused on the Effects of Entrepreneurship and Personal Characteristics (중소 제조업 종사자의 창업의도에 미치는 영향 요인에 관한 연구: 기술개발 지원사업의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • This research attempts to analyze the factors influencing the entrepreneurial intention of employees in manufacturing field. In particular, key factors of entrepreneurship and personal characteristics explain a significant association with the intention to start-up. And study whether R&D support from public enterprise adjusts intention to entrepreneurial Intention. This study conducted a online survey on 292 small and medium-sized enterprise manufacturing employees in May 2020. Using linear regression model and binary logistic model. The main study results are the following: First, among the key factors(innovativeness, proactiveness, risk-taking) of entrepreneurship, proactiveness hardly influenced the opportunity competency. Second, among the factors(risk-taking propensity, locus of control, tolerance for ambiguity) of personal characteristics, locus of control hardly influenced the opportunity competency. Third, opportunity competency(opportunity recognition and opportunity evaluation) had positive influence to entrepreneurial intention. Fourth, the study investigated the mediated effect of opportunity competency. The result showed that among the factors of entrepreneurship and personal characteristics, only two factors that are proactiveness and locus of control were not mediated by opportunity competency. and opportunity evaluation was acted as a mediator between proactiveness and entrepreneurial Intention, compared with opportunity recognition. Lastly, public enterprise's R&D supporting moderated the entrepreneurial intention). Based on the result, the study showed that first, the key factors of entrepreneurship except for proactiveness and personal characteristics(risk-taking propensity, locus of control, tolerance for ambiguity) except for locus of control affect the intention to start-up, repeatedly. This results are explained that employees have not started a business yet. Second, research on start-up suggests the need to analyze factors differentiated before and after the start-ups. Based on the results, entrepreneurship and personal characteristics show that study on the effects of start-up intentions should be carried out before and after the actual start-up takes place, and can be used as effective data in policies to promoting start-ups in manufacturing field.

창업기업의 동적역량 효과에 관한 탐색 연구

  • 정부의 창업 인프라 구축 및 창업 정책이 증가되고 있다. 그러나 실제적으로 창업기업의 성과를 높이기 위하여 기업가 정신과 동적역량이 중요하다. 동적역량은 창업기업의 기회탐색, 자원획득, 자원재구성 능력이며 기업이 성장함에 있어 매우 필요한 역량이다. 본 연구는 창업기업의 기업가정신, 동적역량, 경영성과의 효과와 관계를 검증하는데 중요한 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위해 창업기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하여 최종 361개 표본으로 자료 분석에 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 기업가정신의 혁신성, 위험감수성, 진취성은 동적역량에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 기업가정신의 혁신성과 위험감수성은 경영성과에 유의미한 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으나, 진취성은 유의미하지 않은 결과가 도출되었다. 셋째, 동적역량은 경영성과에 유의미한 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

앙트러프러너십 교육과 창업기회인식 역량과의 관계: 대학 앙트러프러너십 전공자를 중심으로

  • 최근 앙트러프러너십을 독자적인 학문의 영역으로 정의하고자하는 노력들이 진행되고 있다. Shane & Venkataraman 등의 학자들은 앙트러프러너십의 연구가 창업자가 되기 위한 사람들에 대한 관심에서 창업가 기질이 있는 개인과 가치있는 기회의 결합을 이해하는 것 쪽으로 옮겨져 가고 있다고 하였다. 한국은 대학을 기반으로 기업가정신교육 또는 창업교육이라는 이름하에 교육이 확산되고 있는 실정이며, 2010년 국내 최초로 숙명여자대학교에서 앙트프러너십 전공학과가 생성되기도 하였다. 기존의 연구를 통해 창업교육이 창업의지에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 다수의 연구 결과가 발표되었으나, 창업학의 학문적 차별성이라 주장하는 'opportunity'에 대한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 또한, 국내 유일의 앙트러프러너십 전공생들을 대상으로 앙트러프러너십 교육의 품질요인이 전공생들의 기회인식에 어떠한 영향을 주는지, 또한 창업자기효능감 및 교육의 몰입도에 따라 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 밝혀진 바는 없다. 본 연구를 통해 앙트러프러너십 전공교육의 만족도가 창업기회인식에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하고, 교육의 몰입도에 따라 창업기회인식의 매개효과에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

  • 정부는 고용 없는 성장이 이어지는 현재의 경제구조에서 국가 경제의 활력을 위한 실마리를 찾고자 한다. 새로운 일자리를 창출하고 기업 활동에 새로운 혁신을 도입하여 국가 경제의 성장과 발전에 기여할 수 있는 방안으로 창업을 활성화하는 정책개발과 지원에 적극적인 노력을 기울이고 있다. 많은 국가들이 창업을 촉진하여 일자리를 제공하고 있으며 우리나라 역시 창업을 활성화하기 위하여 정부 차원에서 창업 지원정책을 확대해 나가고 있다. 창업 활성화를 위해서는 창업을 기회로 인식하거나 지지하는 문화가 성숙하는 개인의 창업에 대한 인식 개선과 더불어 창업의지 함양 등이 필요하다. 이들 요인에 영향을 주는 요인으로 개인적 특성, 심리적 특성, 기업가정신, 창업 교육, 멘토링, 창업지원 프로그램 등의 요인에 대하여 개별적으로 많은 연구가 수행되어 왔다. 이들 개별적인 요인들과 창업 의지와의 관계를 잘 확인하기 위해서 자기효능감, 위험감수성, 실패부담감, 환경적 요인 등을 확인하는 연구가 다수 시도되었다. 본 연구에서는 예비창업자의 창업의지에 미치는 창업지원정책과 창업가 역량을 중심으로 실증연구를 진행하고자 한다. 또한 창업지원정책과 창업가 역량과 창업의지의 관계에서 멘토링의 조절효과를 검증하고자 한다.

Meditating effect of Planned Happenstance Skills between the Belief in Good luck and Entrepreneurial Opportunity (행운에 대한 신념과 창업 기회 역량과의 관계에서 우연기술의 매개효과에 관한 연구)

  • When asked about the success factors of successful entrepreneurs and celebrities, he says he was lucky. The remarkable fact is that the attitude about luck is different. However, despite the fact that the belief that we believe is lucky is actually a dominant concept, there has not been much scientific verification of luck. In this study, we saw good luck not being determined randomly by the external environment, but by being able to control luck through the internal attributes of individuals. This study is significant that we have empirically elucidated what kind of efforts have gained good luck, whereas previous research has largely ended in vague logic where luck ends up with an internal locus of control among internal entrepreneurial qualities and efforts can make a successful entrepreneur. We introduced the concept of good luck belief to avoid confirmation bias, which is, to interpret my experience in a direction that matches what I want to believe, and used a good luck belief questionnaire in previous studies and tried to verify that those who have a good belief can increase entrepreneurial opportunity capability through planned happenstance skills. The reason for choosing the entrepreneurial opportunity capacity as a dependent variable was based on the conventional research, that is, the process of recognizing and exploiting the entrepreneurial opportunity is an important part of the entrepreneurship research For empirical research, we conducted a questionnaire survey of a total of 332 people, and the results of the analysis turned out that the belief of good luck has all the positive impacts of planned happenstance skills' sub-factors: curiosity, patience, flexibility, optimism and risk tolerance. Second, we have shown that only the perseverance, optimism, and risk tolerance of planned happenstance skills' sub-factors have a positive impact on this opportunity capability. Thirdly, it was possible to judge that the sub-factors of planned happenstance skills, patience, optimism, and risk tolerance, had a meditating effect between belief in luck and entrepreneurial opportunity capability. This study is highly significant in logically elucidating that people in charge of business incubation and education can get the specific direction when planning a training program for successful entrepreneur to further enhance the entrepreneurial opportunity ability, which is an important ability for the entrepreneur's success.
