A Study on Network System Design for the Support of Multi-Passengers' Multimedia Service Based on HMI (Human Machine Interface) (다인승 차량용 멀티미디어 서비스 지원을 위한 HMI기반 네트워크 시스템 설계에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, it is shown the in-vehicle network architecture and implementation for multimedia service which supports Human machine interface of multi-passengers. For multi-passengers' vehicle, it has to be considered the factor of network traffic, simultaneously data transferring to multi users and accessibility to use variety of media contents for passengers compared to conventional in-vehicle network architecture system Therefore, it is proposed the change of network architecture compared with general MOST network, implementation of designed software module which can be interoperable between ethernet and MOST network and accessible interface that passenger can be plugged into MOST network platform using their device based on ethernet network system.

  • This thesis is about the evaluation method of field uniformity for radiated immunity test of vehicle component. Radiated immunity test is to find out whether a EUT has enough immunity or hold normal operation during applied electromagnetic interference. Field Uniformity(FU) measurement is essential for generate uniform field on DUT and Harness. But Standard of Radiated Immunity(RI) test for vehicle component based on ISO 11452-2 has not been specified a Field Uniformity(FU). So compared and analyzed with other standard which is defined by a specified a Field Uniformity. As a result, deviation occurs in the difference test condition and test method. In this thesis, proposal new measurement method of field uniformity that is considered test conditions of ISO 11452-2 and check the validity through actual test.

  • To provide convenience and safety of drivers, the recent vehicles are being equipped with a number of electronic control units (ECUs). Multiple ECUs construct a network inside a vehicle to share information related to the vehicle's status; in addition, the CAN protocol is normally applied. As the modern vehicles provide highly convenient and safe services, it provides many types of attack surfaces; as a result, it makes them vulnerable to cyber attacks. The automotive IDS (Intrusion Detection System) is one of the promising techniques for securing vehicles. However, the existing methods for automotive IDS are able to analyze only periodic messages. If someone attacks on non-periodic messages, the existing methods are not able to properly detect the intrusion. In this paper, we present a method to detect intrusions including an attack using non-periodic messages. Moreover, we evaluate our method on the real vehicles, where we show that our method has 0% of FPR and 0% of FNR under our attack model.

  • 70GHz-band high gain array antenna is developed for automotive short range radar sensor. In Short-rangeradar, the gain must be high in order to increase the resolution, and the angle width must be set to secure the field of view(Fov). The proposed antenna operates at 76~81GHz and satisfies angle width $60^{\circ}$, antenna gain 15dB and the input reflection coefficient of less than -10dB within the operating frequency. Wave guide WR-10 was used to measure the antenna and results similar to the simulation results were obtained.

  • Recently, a great attention has been paid to a car black box device in the automobile markets besides it provides an accident re-construction based on the data which contains audio, video, and some meaningful driving information. Also, it is expected that the device will get to promote around public transit and the market will greatly grow within a few years. Thus, this research conducted of preference the influencing factors in decisions purchase of auto black box. Factors influencing in decisions purchase of black box were divided safety, functionality, differentiation, economics. A questionnaire survey was conducted to those who worked in a black box company. This study suggests practical and theoretical implications of factors influencing purchase decisions based on the results.

  • XML-based open protocol, XMPP users to pass messages to other users, which means that a decentralized communication network is the network infrastructure and enable it. In addition, XMPP servers using a professional server-to-server protocol to communicate with each other and decentralized social networks and collaboration framework provides an important possibility. In this paper, the features of XMPP messaging protocol is applicable to automotive telematics terminals XMPP-based platform design, and presence of two-way communication point for the problem, point-to-point session setup issues, security issues, compatibility issues, and to solve the scalability problem XMPP-based messaging system was implemented.

  • FMCW radar, which is widely used as a front collision warning system for vehicles, is now being commercialized. In this study we develope the radar signal processing system using MPC5775K that is specialized for high performance ADAS. That has special features for ADAS such as 10Msps 12bit ADC, 50MHz Radix-4 FFT, CTE(Cross Triggering Engine) for synchronized triggering between DAC and ADC. The baseband processing board is implemented and shows the result in Matlab.

  • lately, vehicle blackbox increasing importance and usability Is needed accuracy and variety of information. because, blackbox help to analyze the exact cause of the accident and use as objective evidence in vehicle-related crime. In the paper, to overcome the limitations of the existing black box, use various sensors and vehicle information blackbox store current state of the vehicle with OBD-II protocol using vehicle state information and store exact current location and direction information of the vehicle with Gyro sensor and GPS and use global time of GPS for synchronization of information. In addition, blackbox back the information up with wifi. because, when blackbox damaged, dirvers were able to verify the information.
