Development and Effectiveness of the Creative Drama Group Program for the Children with Mental Retardation (지적장애아동의 사회적 능력의 발달을 위한 연극놀이 집단프로그램의 개발 및 효과성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop creative drama group program for children with mental retardation. To develop this program, the study begins with and in depth examination of the prior creative drama models, techniques and constructivism theory. The style of this creative drama program for children with mental retardation is a 24 session structured program, a small group program. The techniques of this creative drama program are a orientation, warming-up, main performance, feedback and sharing. Major findings were as follows. 4 mentally with mental retardation in creative drama group program showed a significant increased social competence. Also, children with mental retardation children showed the positive social skill change through the creative drama group program. Based on these findings, implications for creative drama group program for children with mental retardation were suggested.

A Meta-Analysis on the Effect of the Strengths-Focused Group Program (강점중심 집단프로그램의 효과성에 관한 메타분석연구)

  • This study was to examine the effectiveness of Strengths-Focused Group Program in Korea by using method of Meta-analysis. For the purpose of the study, master's theses, doctoral dissertations, and journal articles published in Korea up to August, 2016 were systematically reviewed. As a result, a total of 25 studies were eligible for the inclusion criteria. The mean effect sizes and test for homogeneity of effect size(Q-statistic) were analyzed by using Comprehensive Meta-Analysis software 2.0. The main findings of the study were as follows. First, the average effect sizes for Strengths-Focused Group Program were ES=1.400 of Psychological Wellbeing, ES= 1.104 of School Adjustment, ES= 0.908 of Self-Esteem. Second, the moderate variables of the effect size for Strengths-Focused Group Program was 'age' of ' a characteristic of the program', and 'the major of group leader'. Based on the study results, the research and practice implications were discussed.

The Effect of a Group Program Using Theraplay on Prosocial Behavior of 2-year-old Infants and Process of Infants' Prosocial Behavior Change (치료놀이를 활용한 집단프로그램이 만 2세 영아의 친사회적 행동에 미치는 영향과 영아의 친사회적 행동 변화 과정)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of a group program using theraplay on 2-year-olds' prosocial behavior. The changes of prosocial behavior in the process of program were also examined. Methods: Subjects were 12 infants who attended a child care center in W city. Subjects were attached to the experimental or control group. The experimental group participated in 11 group theraplay sessions twice a week. The adaptive social behavior inventory (Hogan et al., 1992) was used for pre and post tests. Wilcoxon rank-sum test was performed to verify the effectiveness of a group theraplay program. Every sessions was video-taped and recorded verbatim. The verbatim were analyzed using the Padgett (2001)'s qualitative data analysis method. Results: Infants who assigned to the experimental group demonstrated significant improvement in prosocial behavior. Their expressive behavior and compliant behavior gradually increased over the sessions. Conclusion/Implications: The present study showed that the use of group program utilizing theraplay was an effective strategy for improving prosocial behavior of 2-year-old infants.

Synergistic Effect of Forest Environment and Therapeutic Program for the Treatment of Depression (산림활동이 우울증 환자들의 호전에 미치는 영향: 산림치유 프로그램 집단과 병원 프로그램 집단, 산림욕 집단, 대조군 비교 연구)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of forest environment and therapeutic program to the patients with major depressive disorder in antidepressant medication. The first group participated the four sessions of therapeutic program in the forest environment ("forest therapy"), the second group did in the program in a hospital environment, the third group did merely walking in the forest ("forest bath"), and the last group was controls. All the participants was diagnosed with major depressive disorder and had been taking antidepressant medication longer than 3 months. Depressive symptoms were measured by the Hamilton Rating Scales for Depression(HRSD), Montgomery-Asberg Depressin Rating Scales(MADRS), Beck Depression Inventory(BDI), and general health perception was measured by Short Form Health Survey Questionnaire(SF-36). Heart rate variability(HRV) were also examined to observe the physiological parameters before and after the program. In the results, HRSD score of forest program group was significantly lower than controls after the program. MADRS score of forest therapy group and hospital program group was also significantly lower than controls after 4 sessions of the program. The remission rate defined as below 7 points in HRSD was higher in the forest therapy group, hospital program group, forest bath group, and controls in order. These results reveals that the therapeutic program performed in forest environment may improve unremitted depressive symptoms of patients with major depressive disorder. Although not significant, the forest therapy program showed better outcome than hosptial program and forest bath.

고등학생 또래상담 프로그램이 의사소통과 사회적 효능감에 미치는 효과

  • 본 연구는 고등학생의 의사소통이 사회적 효능감에 어떠한 효과를 미치는지를 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 또래상담 프로그램을 경험한 실험집단은 통제집단보다 의사소통에서 통계적으로 유의미한 효과가 있었다. 둘째, 또래상담 프로그램을 경험한 실험집단은 통제집단보다 사회적 효능감에서 통계적으로 유의미한 효과가 있었다. 따라서 또래상담 프로그램이 고등학생의 의사소통과 사회적 효능감에 긍정적인 방향으로 영향을 미친다는 사실을 알 수 있다. 이로 인하여 또래상담 프로그램은 고등학생들에게 유익한 프로그램이라 여겨지며 학교에서 적극적으로 이 프로그램이 활용되어야 한다고 본다.

A Meta-Analysis on the Effect of Positive Psychology Group Program (긍정심리 집단프로그램의 효과성에 관한 메타분석연구)

  • This study was to examine the effectiveness of Positive Psychology Group Program in Korea by using method of meta-analysis. As a result, a total of 26 studies were eligible for the inclusion criteria. Second, the moderate variables of the effect size for Positive Psychology Group Program was 'age' of 'psychological well-being' and 'depressive symptoms'. Based on the study results, the research and practice implications were discussed.

Effects of Peer Counseling Program on the Communication Skills and Social Efficacy in High School Students (또래상담 프로그램이 인문계 고등학생의 의사소통기술과 사회적 효능감에 미치는 효과)

  • The present research is aimed to observe the effects on the peer counseling program which can increase the communication skills and social efficacy of high school students. In order to do the present research, I have taken 16 high school students, who want to join to this research, within A city. I have separated those students into two groups: an experienced group of 8 students and a controlled group of 8 students. Mann-Whitney U and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test were adopted to analyze collected data from the peer counseling program. The results of this research indicated that the level of communication skills have been increased after peer counseling intervention program of the experienced group, and the level of occupational stress also have been increased after peer counseling intervention program of the experienced group. This result showed that, the peer counseling program could stimulate the communication skills and social efficacy of experienced group significantly comparing with the result of the controlled group. From the result I have confirmed that, the peer counseling program have positive effects to increase the high school students' communication skills and social efficacy.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 프로그램 언어(Perl/CGI, PHP)가 웹 어플리케이션의 개발성과에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 정보시스템의 복잡성과 프로그램 언어에 따른 프로그램의 생산성 효과 이론 등과 같은 선행연구(Wrigley & Dexter, 1991; McFarlan, 1981; Ha & McLean, 1985)와 연구 대상인 Perl/CGI와 PHP에 관한 이론을 조사하였다. 이를 바탕으로 프로그램 인어(Perl/CGI, PHP)가 과업의 위험성(개발사 경험, 요구사항의 난이도)에 따라 개발성과 발생산성, 개발사 만족도)에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위한 모델을 개발하고 실험을 통해 이를 검증하였으며, 결과는 다음과 같다. 사용 언어에 따른 집단별(초보자집단/전문가집단) 성과의 차이는 요구사항이 간단할 경우에는 초보자집단과 전문가집단 사이에 개발성과의 차이점을 발견할 수 없었다. 그러나 요구사항이 복잡할 경우에는 두 개의 프로그램 언어 모두에 대해 전문가 집단이 초보자 집단보다 개발성과가 높게 나타났다. 또한 사용 언어별 성과에서는 PHP를 사용하는 경우가 Perl/CGI를 사용하는 경우보다 개발자 경험이나 요구사항의 난이도와 관계없이 높은 개발성과를 보여 주었다.

Effects of Spirituality Improvement Group Counseling Program on the Burnout Restoration and Psychological Well-being in Office Workers (영성증진 집단상담 프로그램이 직장인의 소진과 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 효과)

  • The present research is aimed to observe the effects on the spirituality improvement group counseling program which can overcome the burnout restoration and increase the psychological well-being of office workers. In order to do the present research, I have taken 32 office workers, who want to join to this research, within S area. I have separated those workers into two groups: an experienced group of 16 workers and a controlled group of 16 workers. Mann-Whitney U and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test were adopted to analyze collected data from the spirituality improvement group counseling program. The results of this research indicated that the level of burnout restoration have been decreased after spirituality improvement group counseling intervention program of the experienced group, and the level of psychological well-being have been increased after spirituality improvement group counseling intervention program of the experienced group. This result showed that, the spirituality improvement group counseling program could decrease the burnout restoration and increase the psychological well-being of experienced group significantly comparing with the result of the controlled group. From the result I have confirmed that, the spirituality improvement group counseling program have positive effects to overcome the office workers' burnout restoration and increase the office workers' psychological well-being.

The Effect of the Reading Discussion-oriented Career Exploration Program on Elementary School Students' Career Development and Achievement Motivation Improvement (독서토론 진로탐색 프로그램이 초등학생의 진로발달과 성취동기에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of study is to examine the effects of the reading discussion-oriented career exploration program for elementary school students on career development and achievement motivation. To achieve this purpose, three fifth grade classes were assigned to an experimental group, comparative group A and comparative group B. Reading discussion-oriented exploration program for the experimental group was conducted for five weeks in ten sessions, the same period of time for comparative group A was given for conducting a career education program and subject studying was conducted on comparative group B. The results of this study, the experimental group applied to the reading discussion-oriented career exploration programs showed a significant increase in their career development compared with the subject studying group. But they did not show a significant increase compared with the career education group. Second, experimental group applied to the reading discussion-oriented career exploration programs showed significant increase their achievement motivation compared with the subject studying group and career education group.
