A construction manager tries to complete a construction project within its duration and budget using available resources. Schedule networks such as Bar-chart and CPM(critical path method) are used to finish the project within the duration. A survey shows that small contractors prefer Microsoft Excel to commercial time management softwares to manage construction time in their fields, because the Excel is useful to control cost with schedule and few time management experts works in the small contractors. A college produces talented graduates who are able to manage time of a construction project. But the quality and quantity of college eduction for time management is insufficient. Another survey shows that majors in Architectural engineering of local national universities have the curriculum for time management, and teach mainly the theory of network scheduling and how to make the network schedule. The several majors have classes for the theory and exercise of commercial time management softwares in several majors. It is necessary to educate time management experts able to use Bar-chart and commercial time management softwares for the small contractors.

Purpose: This qualitative study examined the participation in ICT-based management from the perspectives of patients with chronic diseases. This study was conducted as one of several studies evaluating the effectiveness of chronic disease management in the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Methods: Focus group interviews were used as its guiding methodology. Group interviews with 16 patients were carried out using semi-structured interview questions developed from a literature review and discussion with researchers. Content analysis was used to analyze the data. Results: A total of 11 sub-themes were extracted through a comparison of the concepts and semantic analysis, and finally, four themes were derived: "Satisfied with systematic management of health care", "Leading in health care", "Understanding the pattern of blood pressure and blood sugar change" and "Adherence to existing health care habits". Conclusion: This study is meaningful in that it used qualitative analysis through FGI to evaluate the effects of an ICT-based chronic disease management project. Based on this study, a mixed-method design study and an intervention study among patients with metabolic syndrome is proposed.

This paper explains that socio-cultural contexts affect the transition in scholarly communication. Observing the process of introducing the open access model to the field of medicine in Korea, this paper found that the first, associations of medical societies considered a quality control system very important in the construction of an open access based fulltext DB, the second, there was an medical journal DB with a quality control procedure, and the third, many medical societies provided their journals fulltext to the public on their homepages. Consequently, this paper found that these factors had an effect on the process of transition in scholarly communication in the field of medicine in Korea.

Effective assessment of faculty research performance should involve considerations of both quality and quantity of faculty research. This study analyzed methods for evaluating faculty research output by comparing the rankings of Library and Information Science(LIS) faculty by publication counts, citation counts, and research performance assessment guidelines employed by Korean universities. The study results indicated that faculty rankings based on publication counts to be significantly different from those based on citation counts. Additionally, faculty rankings measured by university guidelines showed bigger correlations with rankings based on publication counts than rankings by citation counts, while differences in universities guidelines did not significantly affect the faculty rankings. The study findings suggest the need for bibliometric indicators that reflect the quality as well as the quantity of research output.

The purpose of this study is to present suggestions for Korean libraries for disabled person after collecting and analyzing qualitative data upon library policies of national libraries, public libraries and libraries for disabled person in European countries including Sweden, UK and France. Korean national library support center for the disabled should be independent in order to have consistent policy and ability for its execution. It should also support private libraries for the disabled in inheriting professionalism and accumulated history. Developing alternative material, integrated catalogue and professional service is required by cooperative and systematic arrangements among national and public libraries for disabled person including schools and university libraries. Also, it should be able to grow not only on the basis of internal cooperation among libraries but also with the help of external organizations like social and legal systems, organizations related with the disabled and regional self governing bodies.

Qualitative management structure of construction companies in Korea are relatively inadequate in comparison with quantitative growth. To improve qualitative management structure, we need to make impartial performance measurement system which arouse participants responds. It is important to select and decide performance measurement index to company and participants. And it is also important to take the weights. For that, we figure out the weights of performance measurement with HSC by Kaplan & Norton.'1'o find out the characteristics of the weights which was classified according to size of the construction company, we analyse and compare with each weights. The result of this Paper will contribute to operate performance measurement system that make raise efficiency and maximize the performance of companies.

The Purpose of this study is to investigate how information use contributes to learning. Conducted as part of a larger study, this study focuses on learning by analyzing students' use of cognitive skills during the Process of using information. Within the broad methodological framework of qualitative research in constructivist paradigm (Guba and Lincoln, 1998), the study applied the revised Bloom's taxonomy (Anderson and Krathwohl, 2000) as a particular framework to understand the Phenomenon. Participants included 21 high school juniors in an honors' class of persuasive speech. The study's combinational use of two techniques -concept mapping and individual interview - in a naturalistic setting Proved to be the unique methods for researching the reflection of information use in learning Products. The results revealed that changes in students' understanding occured in four types - simple, analytic, organizational, and holistic changes. The analysis using the revised Bloom's taxonomy showed that a variety of cognitive skills were used during the whole process of information use and that the use of higher levels of cognitive skills is particularly crucial.

Objectives: This study was performed in order to provide evidence-based data for the expected professional impact of dental hygienists, and to apply and disclose the comprehensive dental hygiene care process through an in-depth analysis of their scaling experience and investigation of the importance of an evidence-based scaling work performance. Methods: The data were collected from June 3, 2019 to October 3, 2019 by conducting in-depth individual interviews on 10 dental hygienists who are working in dental clinics and hospitals by region. The data were analyzed by using the grounded theory methodology, which is a field of qualitative research method. Results: Study results showed that the core category derived from the paradigm model and change process in this study was 'a process of becoming a mature professional outside practical work'. Conclusions: In this study, the participants were able to gain a sense of occupational accomplishment as dental hygienists by performing scaling based on the comprehensive dental hygiene care (CDHC) process, and to advance into professionals through continuous efforts and research in order to enhance their job competencies.

This is a qualitative research that was carried out to analyze the childhood cancer survivors' perceived difficulties using the result of focus group interviews. This study conducted interviews with 22 childhood cancer survivors under follow-up management after cancer treatment at general hospitals in Korea. 22 persons were divided into 3 groups, and interviews were carried out with each group for 80-100 minutes. As a result of the research, four topic collections consisting of 'Physical limitation', 'Influence of lasting childhood cancer', 'Difficulty in forming relationships' and 'Lack of reliable information' and seven subjects, which consist of 'Lack of energy', 'Potential late-effects', 'Fears about cancer recurrence', 'Negative social awareness', 'Difficulty in interacting with', 'Difficulty in interacting with peers', and 'Difficulty in interacting with families' were derived. Based on the findings of this research, it is hoped that provides a basis for developing appropriate and effective services and programs for childhood cancer survivors.

There are few opportunities for different generations to interact, and generational conflicts are emerging as a social problem as the number of people aged 65 and over is increasing. Efforts to solve the problem through interactions between the young and the old have been made in various fields, but reading-related intergenerational activities are rare. A qualitative study was conducted to provide constructive suggestions by hosting a book club for the young and the old, carrying out individual interviews, and analyzing them. Participants in this study agreed that there were few opportunities for intergenerational exchanges. However, they found that reading-based intergenerational activities were mutually beneficial in the intergenerational book club. The participants hoped the number of such occasions would increase. The study resulted in a few implications for intergenerational book clubs, which should help vitalize the book clubs and accentuate the benefits of social reading.
