In this report, Replicated denture was fabricated by 3d printing after scanning the existing denture. It was used as an individual tray in closed-mouth technique. It reduced laboratory process and clinical time. Also it helped in facial evaluation and tooth arrangement. Compared to open-mouth technique, the number of visits was reduced, and the patient's adaptability to new denture was enhanced by utilized various information of the existing denture, including vertical dimension.

There are several ways to analyse stress resulting from anxiety and fear within dental treatment for children. Surveying questionnaires and monitoring biologic reaction are the most common ways for evaluating stress. Pulse oximeter is a popular device for detecting heart rate but not appropriate for moving children. In this study, we compared a recently introduced wrist- watch type heart rate monitor(Alpha, MIO, USA) with a pulse oximeter(MP110, MECKIS, Republic of Korea) for 10 attendants with two conditions including resting state and excited state after exercise. Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed Rank test and there is no statistical difference between two devices(p < 0.05).

본 연구는 의료서비스를 생산 제공하는 병원조직의 계선조직 관리자의 리더십 스타일이 부하직원들의 직업존중감과 조직행동에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 사용할 관리자의 리더십 스타일은 헤이컨설팅 그룹에서 제시한 6가지 리더십 스타일인 지시명령형, 비전제시형, 관계중시형, 집단운영형, 규범형, 육성형 리더십스타일을 사용하고자 한다. 각 리더십 스타일이 직원들의 직업존중감, 즉 부서 내에서의 커뮤니케이션 수준, 직무몰입, 직무만족, 자기비전 자각 및 이직의사 등 조직행동에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 한다. 또한 관리자의 리더십 스타일과 직업존중감에 따른 조직행동, 즉 직무만족, 조직충성도, 자기계발의지, 이직의도 등에 대해서도 분석하고자 한다. 연구표본으로는 사립대학교병원 1개, 국립대학교병원 1개, 500병상 이상 규모의 종합병원 1개이며, 조사 및 분석에 활용할 개선조직은 진료행정부서인 원무과(부), 진료지원부서인 의무기록실(팀), 의료기사, 간호과(부)이다. 연구의 결과를 통해서 직원들이 가장 선호하는 관리자의 리더십 스타일을 도출함과 동시에 각 리더십스타일의 장단점을 통하여 직원들의 직업존중감 확대와 생산적인 조직행동이 조직성과로 이어질 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Patients often seek rehabilitative treatment for severely worn dentition. The etiology of noncarious tooth wear due to attrition, abrasion, and erosion is multifactorial. To treat the worn dentition, it is important to identify and eliminate and/or control the factors that contribute to excessive wear. Many situations requiring complete mouth rehabilitation present with the challenge of a lack of restorative space. To establish a correct occlusal plane and space for prostheses, it is necessary to increase vertical dimension. This may require an increase in occlusal vertical dimension. Also clinicians should be able to choose the appropriate restorative materials to achieve excellence in natural esthetics as well as proper biomechanics and durability. This article presents a method for altering occlusal vertical dimension to restore dentitions with limited restorative space due to loss of tooth structure.

Objectives : This study investigated the actual condition of an oriental medical office in a public health center. Methods : We classified patients who visited an oriental medical office in the public health center of Gyeyang-gu over a 1-year period, according to age, sex, disease, etc. The number of patients was 6529. Results : Analyzing these 6529 persons, 65.8% were female, and 79.6% were seniors aged over 65. By disease category motor systemic disease or circulatory disease affected 84% of the patients. By medication or treatment category. O-Juk-San (五積散) at 38.3% was the greatest proportion, and Pal-Mul-Tang (八物湯) the second greatest. As to medical fee, 80.2% of the patients were not charged for treatment. Conclusions : The extract of herbal medication should be more expanded in the medical insurance, and should be improved in quality. The oriental medical office in a public health center should focus more on health promotion and disease prevention than patient care. For accomplishing this goal, the institutional position and rights of oriental medical doctors as civil officials should be equal to those of western medical doctors.

Rotator cuff disease is one of the most common shoulder problems. When dealing with patients suffering from rotator cuff disease, whether to perform surgery or not is the most common difficulty faced by the outpatient clinic. Choosing the adequate operation time as well as the method of operation is important when deciding to perform surgery. Selecting the type of non-surgical treatment is an important issue when opting not to perform surgery. This review article will focus on the decision-making process involved in the treatment of rotator cuff disease.

This paper investigates the issuance of medical records of patients and caregivers who have obtained medical records from the Medical Record Information Center of "a university" in Daejeon from January through March in 2006. According to the structural equation, "the time zone for issuance of medical records" was -0.01 as a path coefficient against "how medical records are issued" and +0.86 against "ordinary characteristics." As shown above, privacy and confidentiality are what really matters in the management of medical records. Therefore, they must be protected regardless of whether the medical records are hard or electronic copies.

Even though implant overdentures are preferentially recommended to mandibular edentulous patients, many patients may select conventional complete dentures due to cost and general condition. Proper retention and stability of conventional complete dentures in patients with severe alveolar bone resorption is difficult to achieve. To overcome the limitations, mandibular suction dentures with the closed mouth impression technique have been used. However, the previous technique requires the Frame cut back tray, the Centric tray, and the Gnathometer M. This article introduces a technique for fabricating a mandibular suction denture with common dental materials.

Flabby tissue is not rare for denture wearers. Mucostatic impression technique is necessary due to compromised retention and stability of denture resulting from distortion of mobile flabby tissue. In this report, individual tray was fabricated by model-scanning and 3D printing treatment denture. And then, mucostatic impression for flabby tissue was obtained by using individual tray modified with window technique. Definitive denture was fabricated based on information of treatment denture including incisal pontic arrangement, jaw relationship and occlusion.
