Performance Improvement by Bridging in MAC for Wireless LAN (무선 LAN 매체 접속 제어 방식에서 브리지 기능에 의한 성능 개선)

  • In this paper, CSMA/CA with bridging is analyzed which is an added function of relaying directly between access points when wireless terminals can not communicate each other, and is also compared to the CSMA/CA without bridging which is IEEE 802.11 MAC standard. Through simulations, it is shown that the two methods have the similar performance in terms of the throughput but the bridging CSMA/CA improves the delay compared to the non-bridging CSMA/CA.

  • 기존에 있는 그룹테크놀로지의 방법들은 기계와 부품간의 공정유사성이나 그밖의 다른 정의의 유사성을 갖고 한 가지 정도의 알고리즘이나 수학적인 모델로써 해를 구했으나 그 해들은 실질적으로 현대 산업의 생산시스템이나 자동화에서 풀어나가야 하는 기계들의 병목현상을 풀어나가는 직접적인 접근방법을 제시하지 못했다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 새로운 기계간 유사성의 개발과 그래프이론을 응용한 알고리즘 그리고 수학적인 모델을 동시에 응용해서 병목현상을 초래하는 예외적인 원소의 재배치를 효과적이고 쉬운방법으로 제시하였다.

Performance analysis of an explicit guidance system (직접식 관성유도시스템의 성능 분석)

  • In this paper, a fuel minimizing closed loop explicit inertial guidance algorithm for the orbit injection of a rocket is developed. In this formulation, the fuel burning rate and magnitude of thrust are assumed constant, and the motion of a rocket is assumed to be subject to the average inverse-square gravity, but with negligible atmospheric effects. The optimum thrust angle for obtaining the given velocity vector in the shortest time with minimizing fuel consumption is first determined, and then the additive thrust angle for targeting the final position vectors is determined by using Pontryagin's Maximum Principle. To establish the real time processing, many algorithms of the onboard guidance software are simplified. Simulations for the explicit guidance algorithm, for the 2nd-stage flight of the N-1 rocket, are carried out. The results show that the guidance algorithm works well in the presence of the maximum .+-.10 % initial velocity and altitude error. The effects of the guidance cycle time is also examined.

  • Various control algorithms have been proposed for the speed-sensorless control for an induction motor. These control schemes are mainly based on the speed feedback with the flux and speed estimations. This paper proposes another method for the speed-sensorless control for an induction motor. The proposed scheme is based on the torque and flux compensation without speed estimations, in which the same controlled stator voltage is applied to both the induction motor and the numerical model so that the differences between torques and fluxes of the model and the induction motor may be compelled to give access to zero. The results of experiment show the effectiveness of the scheme.

  • The traveling system of wheel type excavator, that is applied to drive method by friction of transmission, has many problems about transmisson. It need to settle the problem which is occurred at wheel type excavator and to study continuously variable transmisson which is used with only travel motor. This paper base on mathmetical modeling for travel motor and travel motor of wheel type excavator is designed continuously variable transmisson system without transmisson by direct control method.

  • 신경회로망 기술은 다양한 공학적 및 과학적 문제에 적용되어 왔으며 복잡한 동특성을 갖는 시스템의 모델링에 특히 효율적인 것으로 알려져 있다. 신경회로망 학습은 신경회로망의 가중치 및 바이러스로서 주어지는 파라미터 벡터의 요소를 주어진 목적함수를 최소화하는 최적의 값으로 추정하는 연산과정을 의미한다. 따라서 신경회로망 파라미터 학습은 전체시스템의 성능을 직접적으로 좌우하는 매우 중요한 단계라 할 수 있으며 일반적으로 파라미터의 수정규칙 알고리즘을 도출한다. 이러한 수정규칙은 주로 최적화 기법을 적용하며 경사함수(gradient function)를 포함한다. 최근에는 이러한 경사함수를 포함하지 않는 학습 알고리즘이 많이 개발되고 있으며 특히 칼만 필터링 이론을 접목한 미분 신경회로망의 학습 알고리즘이 최근에 발표되었다.

  • This paper represents a control method of improving the performance of direct drive robot. The direct transfer of torque and rotational speed of direct drive motor to the robot body without reduction gear makes the robot speed fast. However, the variation of inertia matrix and low friction cause the control difficult, and one more effort must be in the reducing the acceleration and deceleration time to reduce the cycle time. To fasten the cycle time and to improve the robustness of robot, one control method is developed, and implemented in the Goldstar DD robot. This method does not need to change the conventional PI type control structure, but one additional compensational control law is required. The control law can be obtained via inverse dynamic model of robot, and inverse model of existing control loop. The effects of this control law are shown in this paper.

  • The direct drive motor is directly coupled by load. So, it is directly affected by load and disturbances. To control the direct drive motor, a robust controller is need. The main feature of variable structure system is that system trajectories are robust and insensitive to parameter variations and disturbances in the sliding mode. In this paper, adaptive variable structure controller, is used for the BLDD SM(Brushless Direct Drive Servo Motor) control. The chattering problem is reduced by using the saturation function.

  • 전동차용 견인전동기 시스템은 저항 및 쵸퍼 제어에 의한 직류 전동기 방식에서 인버터 제어에 의한 유도전동기 방식으로 발전하였다. 오늘날 유도전동기 기술은 어느 정도 성숙기에 접어들었지만 최근에는 소음 제거, 효율 극대화 및 유지보수 비용 절감 등의 이점이 있는 감속기를 제거한 직접 구동용 영구자석 전동기가 새로이 각광받고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 자기적 포화특성이 심한 영구자석 전동기를 대상으로 비선형 수치 해석 기법을 적용하여 운전조건별 특성해석 및 설계기술에 대해 나타내었다.

  • This paper presents a close-loop feedback control scheme, which can simultaneously satisfy multiple conflicting control performances, for a high speed positioning system driven by a brushless D.C. motor. With the dynamic model of the motor and proportional-plus-derivative feedback controllers selected as sample controllers, the convex combined feedback controller is formulated for implementing a direct-drive manipulator. Experimental results show that the developed multiple simultaneous specification(MSS) controller can meet desired control performances; maximum overshoot and rise time.
