This study tells that factors which affects the re-employment of the persons with disabilities are gender, education, chronic disease status, and the help of others in daily life status, employment discrimination experience, and the type of employment. From the gender perspective, whereas men are in favor of re-employment in the clerical work, women are in favor of re-employment if they don't have a spouse or receive employment services. • This paper aims at concrete examination of the 'Official Road(官路)' of the late Joseon Dynasty through government administration of the 17th - 18th century 'Junsangseo(典牲署)'. Until now, the study of the central political system in the Joseon Dynasty was mainly studied by the politically important bureaucrat 'Dangsanggwan(堂上官)', and even if he studied the 'Official Road(官路)', he was a student from the a graduate of Mungwa(文科) and the 'Clean and imfortant Official(淸要職)' connected with it It was examined mainly. As a result, this research attempts to elucidate the routes of 'non - Clean and imfortant Official(非淸要職)' who have not been studied so far. However, it is difficult to deal with all the 'lower officials(參下官)' reaching 263 in total, so it was targeted at the 'Junsangseo(典牲署)' where the 'List of official(先生案)' exists in the 17th - 18th century. In chapter 2, we examined the historical value of 'List of official(先生案)' and were able to secure the confidence of the materials. In Chapter 3, we specifically examined the origins of officials from the 'Junsangseo(典牲署)', the official route, and the occupation. As a result, the 'Junsangseo(典牲署)' 'lower officials(參下官)' was predominantly from the 'Munum(門蔭)'. In addition, I confirmed that I was stepping on a public road that roughly promoted one rank. The number of days in office has also been promoted satisfying the court occupation days. Although this is an analysis limited to 'Junsangseo(典牲署)', it seems that 'lower officials(參下官)' of 'Junsangseo(典牲署)' had gone through routes and routes that were roughly similar to the 'lower officials' of the main office. If we can assume this, we can understand the character of the late Joseon Dynasty 'lower officials(參下官)' by understanding the character of 'lower officials(參下官)' of 'Junsangseo(典牲署)'. To declare this, more case analysis is necessary, and it is necessary to convert a lot of 'List of official(先生案)' data scattered nationwide into DB.

  • This paper empirically examines the reemployment pattern (full-time versus part-time reemployment) using pooling 6 year data of Korean Labor and Income Panel Study (KLIPS, 1998-2003). A discrete data analysis (multi-nominal logistic regression) is adopted to identify variables predicting reemployment pattern. Among those who lose full-time or part-time job in previous year, women and older people are found to have both longer unemployment durations and lower probabilities of full-time reemployment (versus either each of part-time reemployment or unemployment) than men and younger people. Therefore, the future labor market policy should be more associated with the one for reducing these gender and age differences in worker characteristics.

  • This study examines gender inequality in the Utopian literature through Bellamy's novelLooking Backward: 2000-1887. Boston, USA, in 2000 is an equal society in which production and distribution are performed efficiently, and everyone can work with an equal opportunity without discrimination. But a closer look at the social structure shows that housework and parenting are predominantly women's duties, and the jobs that women and men can have are differentiating. Therefore, it is hard to say that true gender equality has been achieved. In addition, we could see that there were still remnants of gender inequality, such as showing the notion of beauty judged by male standards. However, Bellamy's Looking Backward: 2000-1887 is meaningful in that it improved women's status and suggested the direction and hope of social development in the 19th century. This study further examined whether these gender inequality factors have disappeared in modern society and confirmed that there remain many gender inequality factors. Therefore, we should all work together to improve the perception of members of society and make changes in social policies so that there is no discrimination between women and men so that we can truly become a gender-equal society.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the correlation between leader's machiavellianism and turnover intention. To this end, we tried to investigate the overall mechanism of the research model through the mediating effect of hindsight bias. To verify the hypothesis, surveys were conducted twice with 335 employees working at companies with more than 300 employees in various occupations. As a result of the study, first, it was found that the machiavellianism of the leader had a positive significant effect on the employee turnover intention. Second, it was found that hindsight bias had a positive significant mediating effect between the leader's machiavellianism and employee turnover intention. It can be inferred that the higher the machiavellianism tendency of the leader, the higher the hindsight bias is experienced and the negative impact on the effectiveness of the organization, the higher the employee turnover intention. Therefore, this study in-depth verifies the mechanism between the leader's machiavellianism, hindsight bias, and employee turnover intentions, suggesting new implications from a perspective different from the existing research flow, and suggesting future research tasks and limitations on the role of leaders.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore bullying among senior women at a senior center. Using ethnographic research technique, we examined the process in which members of the senior center engaged in and responded to bullying. Purposive sampling method was used to choose a senior center as the subject of this study. Within the center, 16 senior women participated in the study. In-depth interviews and participatory research methods were used to collect data. We analyzed the transcripts of the interviews based on the ethnographic analysis method presented by Spradley (1979). Themes that emerged from these participatory research and interviews include: members of the senior center creating loners, people being bullied causing damages to the group, taking actions to respond to bullying, and failing to solve the bullying problems. First, the victims of bullying became loners with no one to rely on through other members' verbal attacks, discrimination, isolation, and stopping the victim to use the senior center. Second, the victims were under attack but also caused troubles at the senior center and harmed others at the same time. Third, while engaging in bullying, senior women attempted to deal with bullying problems in many ways. These attempts include: avoiding the conflict, withstanding, attempting to mediating, and so on. Finally, bullying remained to be a recurring phenomenon at the senior center. New victims of bullying continuously appeared and the influence of bullying was felt not only within the senior center but outside as well. Based on the findings of this study, we suggest that practitioners and researchers take into account factors that affect bullying among senior women.
