A Study on the Impact of Caregivers' Job Characteristics on Organizational Contextual Performance in Long-Term Care Facilities for the Elderly (노인장기요양시설 요양보호사의 직무특성이 조직의 맥락적 성과에 미치는 영향: 직무태도와 조직풍토의 이중매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effects of job characteristics and organizational contextual performance of care workers. This is an empirical analysis of the dual mediating effect of job attitude and organizational climate. A total of 274 caregivers were recruited. SASS process macro was used for data analysis. The results of the study were as follows. First, there was a significant correlation between job characteristics, job attitude, organizational climate, and contextual performance. Second, job attitude and organizational climate had a double mediating effect between job characteristics and contextual performance. Third, job attitude and organizational climate had a significant mediating effect between job characteristics and contextual performance. Based on this, psychological voluntary job competency improvement methods and follow-up studies were suggested to improve the job performance of care workers.

Relationship Between Job-related Affective States and Job Attitudes: Mediating Effects of Emotional Labor (직무관련 정서상태가 직무열의 및 직무탈진에 미치는 영향: 감정노동의 매개효과)

  • This study had three purposes. First, the effects of job-related affective states on emotional labor (deep acting and surface acting) of employees engaging in service job were examined. Second, previous studies focused on the negative effects of emotional labor on job attitudes. On the other hand, this study dealt with not only the negative effects of emotional labor but also its positive effects. In particular, this study examined the effects of emotional labor on positive job attitudes, such as job commitment and job involvement, as well as negative job attitudes, such as exhaustion and cynicism. Finally, this study examined the mediation effect of emotional labor on the relationship between the job-related affective state and job attitudes. The data was collected from 150 employees working in 15 service firms in Korea. The results were as follows. First, the positive job-related affective state increased the deep-acting. On the other hand, negative job-related affective state increased surface-acting. Second, the main effect of deep-acting on positive job attitudes (dedication and vigor) was significant. In addition, the main effects of surface-acting on the negative job attitudes (exhaustion and cynicism) was significant. Finally, the mediating effect of deep-acting on the relationship between positive job-related affective state and positive job attitudes was significant. In addition, surface-acting mediated the relationship between negative job-related affective state and negative job attitudes. The theoretical and practical implications of this study are provided in the discussion session.

Relationship between Core Job Characteristics and Attitude of Small Business Employees (소상공인의 핵심직무특성과 태도의 관계)

  • For certify job characteristic affecting attitude of employee, this study is to examine the relationship between core job characteristics(skill variety, task identity, task significance, autonomy, feedback) and attitude(job satisfaction, organizational commitment, turnover intention) of small business from a 'human resource management' point of view. Concretely, it is confirmed whether how influence of ore job characteristics on attitude and whether there is a moderating effect of growth needs of strength between core job characteristics and attitude of small business. The results of regression analysis using 315 domestic employees are as followings. First, it is confirmed that the skill variety and task significance has influence on job satisfaction positively, skill variety and feedback has influence on organizational commitment positively, and skill variety and feedback has influence on turnover intention negatively. Second, there is moderating effect only the relationship between task significance and turnover intention. On the basis of these study results, it suggested strategic implications to job design and business strategy for heightening attitude of small business employees.

  • 본 연구는 고용형태의 차이가 사서의 직무태도와 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 파악하고자 하는 것이다. 즉, 정규직과 비정규직 사서의 직무태도와 성과의 차이 유무와 그 직무태도와 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인가를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과는 고용형태별로 직무태도와 성과에는 차이가 있었으며, 직무태도와 성과에 영향을 주는 요인으로는 정규직 사서의 경우 동료관계, 고용보장성, 기술다양성이 영향요인으로 나타났으며, 비정규직 사서의 경우 동료관계와 자율성이 영향요인으로 나타났다.

The Effects of Job Vocational Calling on Job Behavior and Mediating Effect of Job Attitude of Child Care Teachers (보육교사의 직무소명의식과 직무행동 간 영향관계에서 직무태도의 매개효과 분석)

  • This study was conducted to obtain meaningful information about job management of child care center teachers, who take charge of child care policy at the front line, social meaning of which is being greatly highlighted these days. Especially, the research was designed with causal relationships in mind, in which certain job-related thoughts or consciousness forms attitudes, thus leading to behavior. In this light, the present study selected the following variables for analysis: job attitudes including job calling, job engagement, and job burnout; and job behavior such as creative behavior, active behavior, and ethical behavior. Data collected from 209 child care center teachers' response to structured questionnaires was analyzed, using t-test, one-way analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA), and hierarchical regression analysis. The results indicate that job burnout increased at a statistically significant level as extra workhours increased, and that only job engagement, among job attitude variables, and creative behavior and active behaviors, among job behavior variables, had significant effects. Moreover, job engagement was the only variable that was found to work as a mediator in relationships between job calling and active behavior.

성격5요인 모델을 이용한 종업원 직무만족과 고객지향적 태도에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구는 의료서비스기업에 종사하는 종업원의 성격 5요인 모델에 따라 종업원의 직무 만족(job satisfaction) 과 고객지향적 태도(customer orientation) 에 미치는 영향을 연구 하고자 하였다. 연구를 위해서 서울과 대구에 소재한 대학병원과 경기도에 소재한 중 소형 병윈의 간호사들을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시하여 총 207개의 유효 표본을 획득하였다. 통계분석로는 응답자특성을 파악하기 위해 빈도분석을 설시하였고, 측정모형의 신뢰성과 타당성 분석을 위해 신뢰성도 분석, 요인분석 및 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 또한 의료서비스종업원의 성격 5요인 모델이 종업원의 직무만족과 고객지향적 태도에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 요인을 실증적으로 검증하기 위해 구조방정식 모델 분석을 통해 실시하였다. 그 결과, 성격 5요인 모델은 종업원의 직무만족과 고객지향적 태도에 통계적으로 매우 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 국내에서는 의료서비스업종을 대상으로 성격 5요인 모델을 적용한 연구가 미비한 현재 시점에서 의미 있는 결과라고 할 수 있다. 직무만족, 역시 고객지향적 태도에 통계적으로 유의한 방향으로 영향을 마치는 것으로 나타나, 직무만족이 높을수록 고객지향적 태도가 높아질 수 있다는 것을 실증적으로 확인할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 다음과 같은 시사점을 찾을 수 있었다. 첫째, 고객과 종업원의 상호작용을 통해 서비스가 전달되는 상황에서 고객 욕구를 인지하고 충족시키며, 요구된 서비스를 전달하고, 고객과 개인적인 관계를 평가할 수 있는 고객지향적 태도 측정모델의 이론적인 토대를 제공한 점이다. 둘째, 최근의 성격이론가들은 성격 5요인 모델이 개인의 성격특성에 있어서 개인차를 설명해주는 포괄적이고 공통적인 구조로 존재한다는 학문적 통합에 동의한다. 마지막으로, 본 연구를 통해서 의료서비스 종업원의 직무만족도는 고객지향적 태도에 통계적으로 매우 유의한 영향을 마치는지를 실증적으로 밝혔다는 것이다. 따라서 관리자들은 종업원의 직무만족도를 주기적으로 측정하여 불만족 요인을 찾아 해결하고, 높은 수준의 고객지향적 태도를 유지하기 위한 노력이 필요함을 시사해준다 하겠다.

  • This paper is to investigate the correlation between leadership and organizational culture, and is to find out the influence of leadership and organizational culture on employee's job attitude in hotel industry based on the survey data from 274 hotel employees working in 13 deluxe hotels in Seoul. As a result of empirical analysis, all leadership attributes(charisma/inspiration, service/consideration, reward) were correlated with organization culture factors(group oriented, stratified oriented, innovative oriented, rational oriented). And reward, service/inspiration were significantly influenced on employee's job attitude. As a whole reward based on compensation was more important attribute than other leadership attributes on organizational culture factors, employee's job attitude. And group oriented, stratified oriented culture were positively influenced on employee's job attitude.

The Influence of Hairdresser National Technology Certification Practical Tasks on Hair Designers' Job Attitude (미용사 헤어 국가기술 자격증 실기과제가 헤어디자이너의 직무 태도에 미치는 영향)

  • As the importance of national technical qualifications for hairdressers to verify qualifications and skills as a professional is increasing, it is time to improve achievement motivation and job attitudes through research on job attitudes perceived by hair designers toward hair practical tasks. As a result of studying the effect on the job attitude of a hairstylist working in a hair salon, it was found that blow-drying induced the hairstylist's job efficacy among the practical tasks for the hairdresser's hair national technology certification, and scalp scaling and shampoo were the job of the hairstylist. was found to induce satisfaction. Based on the research results, it is possible to present a variety of practical certification tasks with practicality that can be usefully applied to customers in various techniques in the beauty industry, rather than unrealistic practical techniques limited only to wigs. We want to induce improvement. In addition, I believe that this study will provide basic data for the development of various practical tasks to improve the achievement motivation of hair designers.

An Analysis on Working Attitude of Workers in Integrated Social Welfare Facilities through Mediation Effects of Relationship Factors (관계요인의 매개효과를 통한 종합사회복지관 종사자의 직무태도에 관한 실증적 분석)

  • This study positively analysed the effects of service qualities of workers in integrated social welfare facilities on their working attitudes, targeting those who work for the welfare facilities. It identified the effects of service qualities such as tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and sympathy on relationship factors such as relationship closeness through customization, organizational immersion and job satisfaction and presents suggestions to improve working attitudes of the workers. The results of the study are presented as follows: Reliability, responsiveness and assurance, service qualities of the workers, had effects on working attitudes. Relationship closeness through customization had an effect on organizational immersion and job satisfaction. Therefore, reliability, responsiveness and assurance that had effects on working attitudes of the workers were very significant factors and relationship closeness through customization were significant factors to improve working attitudes of the workers. This study presents political suggestions on the relations between service qualities of the workers in the welfare facilities and their working attitudes as alternatives.
