The construction of stream-recognition DEM using voronoi diagram in GIS environment (GIS 기반에서 Voronoi Diagram을 이용한 하천인식 DEM 생성에 관한 연구)

  • Researches using DEM are actively progressed in field of water resource, and especially the extraction of watershed and stream based on topographic and hydrologic analysis, is widely used in GIS analysis recently. However, because it is extracted that watershed which is type of sliver polygon and stream which is type of straight line in low topographic region, they're not efficient for application. This study determined buffer zone from stream and tried smooth elevation change to buffer zone in order to efficiently extract abnormal watershed and stream being occurred in low topographic region. Especially, we applied equal-distance assignment model using Voronoi Diagram to determine smooth elevation change. Also, we extracted watershed and stream using stream recognition DEM and origional DEM, and evaluated the efficiency of research through comparing the shape of watershed and stream in low topographic region.

  • This research is an introductory study that hopes to interpret the cultural scenic landscape by analyzing Korea's mountains, streams, topography, color, light, human behavior, and more based on real landscape paintings. It places its purpose on understanding our intrinsic cultural scenic landscape by investigating the changed topography and the differing life patterns caused bythe active national land development after the modern era. With Seoul, which is now difficult to find images of its past, and the surrounding areas of the Han riverbed, the interpretation related to its original topography, landscape, climate, weather, and human behaviors was observed while the main focus was placed on the climate of the perception held by people regarding Mt. Geumgang and other ranges which are not fully opened to the public yet. In order to comprehensively analyze the figures of features and appearing landscapes including color, light, and more, it was described through the concept called climate. Hereupon, the real landscape paintings by Gyunjae(Jeong-Seon), mainly bearing features of existing Korean mountains, wereutilized as visual historical material. However, not having all his works, other pieces with representative characteristics were utilized such as "Gyeong-Gyo-Myeong-Seung-Chup(a painting with picturesque sceneries around old Seoul)" and "Hae-Ak-Jeon-Shin-Chup(a landscape painting including even the spirits of the seas and mountains)" which contain the regions' distinct scenery. As a result, the old cultural scenic landscapes of Korea are regarded as containing diverse mountains and where the conceptions of the treatment of mountains were reflected.

The Geomorphic Characteristics of the Location of the 4 Traditional Settlements in Youngnam District (영남지방 4대 전통취락의 지형적 입지 특성)

  • This study aims to interpret the location of 4 traditional settlements in the Youngnam district of Korea in view of geomorphology. For this study, GIS techniques were used to analyse quantitatively the degree of slope, slope aspect and the relation with river/stream of these regions. Yugok is located on pediment in the valley basin. Cheonjeon is located in the end part of the hill. Hahoe is located on the convex natural levee of the flood plain. Yangdong is located on a hillside. Houses are mostly distributed with south, southeast, and southwest aspect, but in Hahoe face all sides. Also, the settlements are located on average $10{\sim}20m$ above river bed. This indicates a safe height above river bed for avoiding an flood damage. These results imply that the location of the traditional settlement is based on a scientific logic and rationale. It is thus argued that the settlements satisfy exellent geomorphic conditions from the perspective of modern theories of residential location.

  • 본 논문에서는 주행 중에 보행자의 인식 및 추적을 위해서 차량에서 촬영된 영상정보를 이용하여 주변의 보행자를 찾고, 사고 위험성이 있는 보행자를 인식하기 위해서 보행자 파악 및 보행자와의 거리를 측정하기 위한 연구를 하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 차량에 정착된 카메라를 통한 보행자 인식 기술에 대해 연구 하였다. 제안한 방법은 보행자 인식 단계에서 Cascasde HOG, Haar-like 알고리즘을 적용하였고, 추적 단계에서 칼만 필터와 클러스터링 기법을 결합하여 실시간으로 보행자를 인식 및 추적하였다.

  • 3차원 지형공간정보체계에 대한 관심의 증가와 함께 도심지의 3차원 모델링에 관한 다양한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 단색영상을 용하여 영역기반정합이나 형상기반정합을 실시하던 기존의 3차원 모델링 기법은 오정합이 많이 발생할 수 있으며, 모델링에 소요되는 시간이 많이 걸리는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 새로운 3D 모델링에 대한 접근법의 하나의 단계로서 컬러영상으로부터 경계정보와 색상정보를 활용하여 동일건물을 인식하는 방법에 대하여 연구를 수행하였다. 경계정보에 대해서는 보완된 Hausdorff 거리 개념을 사용하였으며, 색상정보에 대해서는 수정된 컬러 인덱싱 기법을 사용하였다 IKONOS영상을 사용하여 실험을 실시한 결과 두 가지 정보를 각각 단독으로 사용하는 경우 보다는 두 가지 정보를 조합하여 사용하는 경우 인식이 보다 효과적으로 이루어지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

디젤엔진오일의 국제성능규격 추세와 올바른 선택요령

  • 각 나라 자동차 엔진메이커들은 그 나라의 기후, 환경, 도로사정 등 그 중요도에 따라 독자적인 성능규격을 실시하고 있으며 특히 우리나라도 기후, 지형 및 사용연료인 디젤유황함량 등의 조건에 맞는 공동의 독자적인 엔진 test method 및 규격제정이 필요한 시기가 도래하였다고 보며, 국내 자동차 메이커들이 전 세계로 수출하는 과정에서 그 해당나라의 엔진요구 규격을 잘 인식하고 자동차수출에 따른 AS 및 오일추천을 정립하여, 오일에 의한 엔진트러블 등을 방지해야 할 것이며, 국내에 유럽 및 일본식 엔진이 70~80% 시장성을 갖고 운행되고 있다는 점을 인식하여 그 적합한 유럽의 CCMC 규격과 유럽의 유명 자동차메이커의 규격에 대해 잘 알아야 할 것이며, 엔진오일의 성능등급에 대한 잘못된 인식과 오일선택으로 고가 차량의 엔진트러블 및 잦은 수리로 소비자나 국가적으로 경제적 손실의 발생을 방지하는 디젤엔진오일의 올바른 선택과 요령을 정리하였다.

  • 오늘날 모든 물체에 컴퓨터가 내장되어 언제 어디서나 사용자에게 적절한 서비스를 제공하는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 개념이 대두되고 있다. 그래서 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경은 사용자 중심의 환경이나 주변 상황으로부터 획득한 컨텍스트를 분석하기 위해서 상황 인식(Context-awareness) 시스템이 필요하다. 이 시스템은 센서로부터 취득한 컨텍스트, 즉 하위 레벨의 컨텍스트로 부터 통합, 추론, 그리고 학습을 통해서 상위 레벨의 컨텍스트를 생성해야 한다. 그러나 기존의 상황 인식 시스템은 다양한 타입의 처리할 수 없고 사용자의 선호도나 흥미도를 고려하지 않은 제한점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 미들웨어를 위한 다양한 센서들로부터 다양한 타입의 컨텍스트를 처리할 수 있는 생성할 수 있는 프레임워크를 제안한다. 이 프레임워크는 변화하는 주변 환경에 따라 사용자에게 다양한 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 센서된, 통합된, 추론된, 그리고 학습된 컨텍스트를 생성할 수 있도록 설계하였다.

Topographic Map Specification Analysis for the Efficient Improvement of Automatic Mapping (지도제작자동화의 효율성 향상을 위한 지형도 도식 분석)

  • This study is to improve an automatic rate of mapping system through analysis of topographic map specification. The digital map ver 2.0(1/5,000) has used for this studv and the mapping information is to obtain digital and topographic map. This topographic map specification is compared with information that represented of today. The regulation of a map specification for automatic mapping system planed out $\circled1$ similar specification of topographic map $\circled2$ simplified specification $\circled3$ clearness specification. After this study, the automatic rate of a mapping is up to 7% and the map specification has been easily generated.

Analysis of Topographic Environment for Urban Forest Area in Taejon City Using Landsat - 5 TM and Digital Terrain Elevation Data (Landsat-5 TM과 수치지형데이타를 이용한 도시내 산림의 지형환경 분석 - 대전시를 중심으로 -)

  • The environment in urban are becoming worse and forest is being recognized the major part of city by the increase of population and facilities. This study was carried out to analyze topographic environment as the basis for reasonable management and utility of forest situated in Taejon city and its vicinities using Sandst-5 TM and digital terrain elevation data(DTED). Forest area was extracted by Landsat-5 TM data. Distribution of elevation, slope and aspect was derived from digital terrain elevation data. The research area to analyze ropographic environment for urban forest were Bomumsan, Bongsan, Kabhasan, Sikchangsan, and Kyechoksan. Forest, the largest area in Taejon covers 55.1% of totaf area. This is more 5 times than urban area. 70.8% of forest area in Taejon city is located in elevation of lower than 200m and 4.8% of that is located in elevation of upper than 400m. Distribution of elevation is 45.7% of total area for 100m to 200m in Kyechoksan and is 92.4% of total area for lower than 300m in Bomumsan. Elevation of upper than 300m is 20.4% of total area in Kabhasan and is 46.6% of total area in Sikchangsan. The slope of more 20 digree is over 50% of total area in every area except for Bonsan and 35.2% of total area in Sikchangsan and Kahasan than in Bomumsan and Kyechoksan.

  • Ubiquitous implementation of indoor location-based technology is recognized that one of the important elements of the technology. Specifically, the hospital management of patients, the silver-town management, the implementation of the smart home for the indoors rather than outdoors in a range of broadband users for location-aware technology is needed. This paper in wireless devices with an indoor location awareness shows about the system's technical design and implementation. Location-based technology for wireless LAN users aware of the strength of radio signals (Received Signal Strength Indication, RSSI) using trilateration. Topographic mapping system will be implemented wireless devices and servers, Access Point (AP), which is the system's development and testing throughout the physical environment to determine the potential for real-life applications.
