The present study examined the moderating influences of firm type(B2B, B2C) on the relationships between SMEs' utilization of government export assistance programs, firm capabilities(marketing & technology capabilities) and export performances(financial and strategic performances). The results of regression analyses on 247 B2B and 137 B2C cases showed that the positive influence of utilization of export assistance programs on financial performance was greater for B2B than for B2C SMEs. This construct, however, had no influence on strategic performance for neither B2B nor B2C cases. Further, both marketing and technology capabilities have positive influences on each of financial and strategic performances. Marketing capability, however, had a greater influence on financial performance for B2C than for B2B SMEs. Technology capability had a greater influence on financial performance for B2B than for B2C SMEs. Implications, limitations, and future studies were also discussed.

This study investigated how the relationship between subcontracting affects the SMEs technology in order to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs. Depending on the trading characteristics and structural characteristics, SMEs are separated into four types that dependent, peripheral-type cooperative, stand-alone. The impacts to technological competitiveness were measured, depending on the type of SME. The results show that SMEs technology competitiveness associated companies type are cooperation and stand-alone. We had confirmed that stand-alone type has high competitiveness through the technical support policy.

This study examined sexual violence characteristics among the individuals who utilized victim support services provided by National Rape Crisis Intervention Centers in Korea. The study is the part of a Korean longitudinal study on sexual assault characteristics and its implications for post-abuse adjustments, which is supported by Korean Mental Health Technology R&D Project. Eleven national rape crisis centers nationwide and 29 NGO's participated in the study. The participating centers provided the data on sexual abuse characteristics from their standardized case management system. The cases were randomly selected from the system. Total of 1077 cases were gleaned from the system and utilized for this analysis. Results indicated that the abuse characteristics differed by victims' age (children, adolescent vs. adults) as well as relationship with perpetrator. We could identify six different profile groups based on the detailed violence characteristics. The results assured us of the importance to understand the detailed characteristics of sexual violence and the old notion that 'one size may not fit all'. The results from the profile analyses may have important implication for developing victim support programs and appropriately allocating agency resources according to the different profiles of the service users.

XML 문서의 폭발적인 확산에 따라 Web상의 각 사이트는 XML 문서를 분산 저장하여 관리하고 있다. 그리고 XML 문서들 간에는 다양한 링크를 통해 관련된 정보를 참조할 수 있다. 그러나 현재까지 XML과 관련하여, 링크를 지원하는 질의어 개발이나 링크를 활용한 XML 검색 시스템 개발에 대한 연구는 미비하다. 본 논문에서는, 실제 Web상에 분산되어 저장된 전자 문서들 중 하이퍼링크로 연결된 XML 문서들을 대상으로, 링크를 지원하기 위해 기존 XML 질의어를 확장에 대해 연구하였다. 이를 위해 XML 링크를 지원하는 질의의 유형을 분류하고, 링크를 지원하기 위한 XML 질의어의 확장에 대해 기술한다. 그리고 링크를 활용한 XML 질의 처리 방안에 대해 기술한다.

본 고는 정보통신 중소기업 기술개발사업에 대한 지원효과를 분석하기 위해 2000년도에 실시한 실태조사결과를 분석한 것이다. 먼저 정보통신부에서 정보통신중소기업의 기술개발을 지원하기 위해 추진중인 지원사업의 유형을 정리하였으며, 실태조사의 추진내용에 대해 설명하였다. 또한 실태조사결과를 회사 일반현황, 기술 및 환경특성, 기업특성, 연구개발 성과, 지원사업의 운영 및 애로요인으로 구분하여 분석한 후 결론을 제시하였다.

This study aims to suggest the ways to reinforce academic library's research support services for professors and researchers in Korea. For this purpose, this study collected the development plans of academic libraries in Korea, and analysed the plans for supporting research activities, and also analysed each library's homepage. And this research classified the research support services of academic libraries into eight types for further analysis. The types are 'subject guide', 'academic information literacy', 'research analysis service', 'research consulting', 'research ethics education', 'thesis writing guide', 'bibliography management program', 'interlibrary loan·original text copy'. As a result, it is shown that the most libraries emphasized 'custom-tailored user education' and marked it on development plan. As subsequent plans, libraries provided the action plans of 'expansion of scholarly DB instruction on each subject', 'expansion of custom-tailored research support services', 'construction of research support service system' one after another. This study suggests 'activation of subject guide service', 'expansion of academic information literacy programs for supporting research', 'introduction of research performance analysis services', and 'support for establishment of research ethics' as ways to strengthen academic libraries' research support services.

Daejeon City has strived to support the SMEs to innovate technologies based on the capabilities of research and development of the Daedeok Innopolis. It is widely known that technological innovation is the key strategy of Small medium enterprises(SME) to survive and succeed in a market. This study aims to analyze the type and determinants of SME technological innovation in Daejeon. Even though most of firms are the small enterprises which employ less than 10 workers in Daejeon, the number of technology-oriented company per capita in Daejeon is highest in South Korea. The type of technological innovation is divided between product innovation and process innovation. The literature insists that technology-oriented small firm tends to implement product innovation rather than process innovation. SMEs in Daejeon also provided more output from product innovation than process innovation. The empirical analysis provided the results that the determinants of SME's technological innovation depends on its type. The scale of firm, R&D investment, and R&D employees positively influence product innovation of SMEs in Daejeon. However, the impact of R&D employees is not significant on innovating the existing product. Process innovation is positively affected by R&D investment and firm age. The study provides the policy implications to business supporting programs of Daejeon government. The business supporting policy of Daejeon government should focus on supporting each type of technological innovation to promote technological innovation by SME and consider strategies that focus on R&D investment and manpower support.

오늘날 멀티미디어 응용들은 다양하고 세분화된 QoS 지원을 요구하는데, 이와 같이 만족시켜야 할 QoS 파라미터의 수가 둘 이상이 되는 경우 라우팅 문제는 NP-complete하다고 말하며, 이러한 문제는 휴리스틱 알고리즘을 통해 해결된다. 본 논문에서는 ATM Forum에서 정의한 다섯 가지 서비스 유형 별로 연관된 서비스 품질 파라미터를 분류하고, 서비스 유형별로 독립된 경로 선택 기준 및 경로 계산 알고리즘을 적용하여 호 설정 시간 및 호 차단율을 낮출 수 있는 휴리스틱 알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한 임의의 망 모델 환경에서 CBR 서비스 유형에 대해 제안된 알고리즘을 시뮬레이션하여 성능 분석을 수행한다.

시맨틱 웹상에서 메타 데이터를 표현하는 RDF 데이터에 대한 질의 처리를 위해 여러 가지 RDF 질의어가 제안되었으나 리소스간의 복잡한 관계성들의 발견(discovery)을 위한 충분한 지원을 하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 시맨틱 연관성 검색 유형의 하나인 ${\rho}$-intersect 연산의 처리 방법을 소개한다. 이를 위해 접미사 배열을 이용한 인덱싱과 ${\rho}$-intersect 연산의 특징을 고려한 최적화 방법을 활용한다. 제안된 처리 기법을 통해 전형적인 RDF 질의 유형뿐만 아니라 시맨틱 연관성 질의 유형도 지원할 수 있도록 한다.

The purpose of the study was to observe and categorize daily routines of infant classes in daycare centers based on quantity of indoor and outdoor free play, group activities and nap/rest and explore differences in infants' play and teacher's behavior according to daily routine types. A team of trained observer observed daily routines and teacher's behavior of 26 infant classes from 7 daycare centers for two days and teachers evaluated 164 infants' playfulness. As a result daily routines of infant classes were categorized into two types: "Indoor & Outdoor Free Play Oriented" and "Group Activities & Rest Oriented". Infants' playfulness of "Indoor & Outdoor Free Play Oriented" groups were higher than that of "Group Activities & Rest Oriented" groups. Teachers from "Indoor & Outdoor Free Play Oriented" groups were found to have more experiences in the field and also they showed more positive and neutral guidance than the others.
