  • 이 연구는 환자의 치위생학적 지식 및 실천 정도가 구강건강과 관련된 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 측정하고자 평가도구중 하나인 구강건강 영향지수(OHIP)를 사용하여 평가하였다. 그 결과 예방적인 지식이나 일상에서 매일 사용하는 구강용품지식 및 사용방법 지식이 높아야 주관적으로 느끼는 삶의 질이 높게 나타났다. 그리고 진료 형태별 지식과 같이 경험으로 습득한 지식은 높을수록 주관적으로 느끼는 삶의질이 낮게 나타났다. 반면 심미치료중의 하나인 미백치료지식은 높을수록 주관적으로 느끼는 삶의 질이 높게 나타났다. 즉 예방적이고 심미적인 지식이 구강건강영향지수에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석된다.

Development of the Disaster Nursing Competency Scale for Nursing students (간호대학생을 위한 재난간호역량 측정도구 개발)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a disaster nursing competency scale for nursing students. 23 preliminary items were selected by classifying 44 disaster nursing core concepts extracted via literature review. Content validity was done by expert panel. In order to verify the reliability and validity of the preliminary instrument, data were collected from 270 nursing students in 2 colleges of nursing in Korea. One factor 11 items in disaster nursing skills and one factor 11 items in disaster nursing knowledges were extracted by factor analysis. This instrument may be useful to identity a disaster nursing competency and its related factors for nursing students.

  • The PCK of teachers about informatics subject, which is viewed as one of required subjects in today's information society, is linked to what and how to teach, and that is very significant in terms of academic education. However, there are currently no efforts to develop items geared toward evaluating the PCK of teachers about informatics subject or to make a factor analysis of those items, though the importance of that subject in information society has been discussed. The purpose of this study was to develop and validate an instrument to size up the PCK of preservice elementary teachers about informatics subject. The finalized instrument consisted of 39 items regarding five factors that involved knowledge of curriculum, knowledge of expression, knowledge of content, knowledge of evaluation and knowledge of teaching methods.

Nursery Teachers' Knowledge, Attitude and Performance Ability in CardioPulmonary Resuscitation (보육교사의 심폐소생술에 대한 지식, 태도와 수행능력)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify the level of knowledge, attitude and performance ability in CardioPulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and provided data for the development of an education program to improve CPR performance ability of nursery teachers. Methods: The participants were 220 nursery teachers working in daycare centers in A city located in G province. Data were collected during July, 2013. Results: The mean scores were 45.88 of 100 for knowledge, 3.69 of 5 for attitude, 2.65 of 5 for performance ability. There were significant differences in knowledge and performance ability according to education experience. There were positive correlations between knowledge and performance ability, and between attitude and performance ability. Factors affecting CPR performance ability were knowledge (${\beta}=.133$), attitude (${\beta}=.327$), and education in CPR (${\beta}=.343$). These factors explained 29.4% of the variance in CPR performance ability. Conclusion: Results indicate that nursery teachers' knowledge, attitude and CPR performance ability were not sufficient enough to perform accurate CPR in an emergency. Therefore, to improve performance ability of nursery teachers to carry out CPR in a cardiac arrest emergency of a child, educational strategies that focus on increasing knowledge and attitude need to be developed.

An Analysis and Development of the Measurement on General Knowledge Related to the Safety of Living Radiation (생활방사선안전 관련 일반지식 측정도구 개발 및 실태분석)

  • Various radioactive materials exist around us. In recent years, as interest in health has increased along with the improvement of the quality of life, examinations using radiation are also increasing. This research defined aforementioned radiation as a living radiation and developed a measurement to measure general knowledge people have on it. Eighteen reliable items were developed; current status on general knowledge regarding the safety of living radiation was analyzed using the items. As a result, a group with radiation-related education got statistically higher score than a group without such education. Correlation analysis and regression analysis showed that higher attention on usual safety leads into the greater knowledge on safety of living radiation. Therefore, this research shed lights on the necessity of radiation safety-related education in current educational course in schools.

  • In order to ensure that the 2015 revised curriculum is successfully settled at the field of school, there are 68 national SW schools operated by 2015 and 2016 at national level, and an inspection tool was developed to measure the effectiveness of SW education. The purpose of this study is to present the direction of the computing thinking inspection tool which can verify the effectiveness of the curriculum from 2018 through the analysis of the previously developed computing thinking inspection tool. As a result of the analysis, the validity of the ability factors to measure the problem solving process based on computing thinking was not enough. In the analysis of the item characteristics, the degree of discrimination was good, but difficulty was not enough to accurately measure the competence of students because of the high percentage of easy questions. Based on the results, this study suggested the development of the items considering the problem solving process based on the computing thinking, the application of the students' empirical knowledge, and the constitution that can confirm the flow of the thinking power with materials in the real life.

An The Effects of Backyard Gardening Activities of Children's Nutrition Knowledge and Eating Habits (텃밭가꾸기 활동이 유아의 영양지식 및 식습관에 미치는 영향)

  • This study explored the changes in nutrition knowledge and eating habits formation of infants through vegetable gardening activities in early childhood education institutions. children from H nursery school located in Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do, and H nursery school located in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, were divided into 18 experimental groups and 18 people from comparison group and pre-post analysis was conducted. The research tool analyzed the data collected using the nutrition knowledge measuring tool and the eating habits measuring tool using the program SPSS, and the analysis method was conducted with t-test(verification) to verify the homogeneity of the experimental group and the comparative group. Analysis result, first. Infants aged 3 to 4 in experimental groups who have experienced vegetable gardening activities have higher nutritional knowledge than infants in comparison groups. In the case of nutrition knowledge, there was no statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the comparative group before the vegetable gardening activities were carried out. But after the experimental treatment, the experimental group showed statistically significant differences in improving the concept of nutritional knowledge (the reason for eating food, the type and function of food, hygiene, and garden) in the post-examination of the comparative group. Second, it can be seen that infants aged 3 to 4 in experimental groups who experienced vegetable gardening activities showed significant differences in table manners and eating behavior among sub-factors of eating habits compared to infants in comparison groups who had never experienced them. In conclusion, vegetable gardening activities are educationally useful in terms of expecting positive changes in the nutrition knowledge and eating habits formation of infants.

The Effects of Scientific Inquiry Class Using Data Measured with Digital Inquiry Tools on Elementary School Students' Competencies (디지털 탐구도구로 측정한 데이터를 활용하는 과학 탐구 수업이 초등학생의 역량에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of elementary school students' knowledge and information processing competence and collaborative problem-solving ability in scientific inquiry class using data measured with digital inquiry tools. To this end, three classes of 5th grade elementary schools in S-city, Gyeongnam were selected as experimental groups and three classes as control groups. The control group conducted traditional lecture-style classes, and the experimental group conducted scientific inquiry classes using scientific data. The following results were obtained through questionnaires after class. First, science inquiry classes using scientific data helped elementary school students improve their knowledge and information processing competence. Second, scientific inquiry classes using scientific data improved elementary school students' cooperative problem-solving ability. From the above results, it was found that scientific inquiry classes using scientific data are needed to improve the knowledge information processing competence and cooperative problem solving ability of elementary school students. Based on this research, it is necessary to study a specific teaching and learning environment that can activate scientific inquiry class using data measured with digital inquiry tools in the future.

The Effects of SW Convergence Education Applying Yut-nori on Knowledge and Information Processing Competency of Elementary Students (윷놀이를 활용한 SW융합교육이 초등학생의 지식정보처리역량에 미치는 효과)

  • This paper aimed to analyze the effect of SW convergence education applying Yut-nori on the knowledge information processing ability of elementary school students. A study was conducted targeting elementary school students in the islands of Jeollanam-do. A SW convergence education applying Yut-nori was developed and applied to the experimental group. A pre-test for knowledge and information processing competency was conducted, SW convergence education applying Yut-nori was conducted, and a post-test for knowledge and information processing competency was conducted. As a knowledge information processing capability test tool, the upper elementary school knowledge information processing competency measurement tool was used for analysis. According to the analysis, SW convergence education using Yut-nori is effective in improving knowledge and information processing competency, which is the ability of elementary school students to collect, analyze, evaluate, and use selected knowledge and information to solve problems efficiently. It was found to be effective in improving knowledge and information processing competency.

Application of TPACK-P Educational Program for Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge of In-service Teachers' (교사의 테크놀로지 교수 내용 지식 향상을 위한 TPACK-P 교육 프로그램 적용)

  • 테크놀로지의 발전에 따라 교육에서도 테크놀로지를 도입하기 위한 움직임이 활발하게 진행되었다. 교육에서는 테크놀로지를 학생들이 학습 과정에서 겪는 문제점을 해결하기 위한 목적으로 활용하였다. 하지만, 교사들의 테크놀로지에 대한 전문성 부족으로 인하여, 교사들은 수업에 테크놀로지를 도입하는데 많은 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 테크놀로지를 기반으로 한 교사의 수업 전문성 발달을 위하여 테크놀로지 교수 내용 지식(TPACK)이 도입되었고, 교사의 TPACK 향상을 위한 연구가 많이 진행되었다. 최근에는 테크놀로지가 가진 한계점을 극복하기 위하여 새로운 테크놀로지 도구로써 프로그래밍이 주목받고 있다. 따라서 선행 연구에서는 프로그래밍을 기반으로 TPACK 교육 프로그램을 향상시키기 위한 교육 프로그램이 개발되었다. 본 연구에서는 김성원과 이영준(2017)에서 개발한 TPACK 교육 프로그램의 효과를 검색하기 위한 연구를 진행하였다. 교사에게 적합한 40차시의 TPACK-P 교육 프로그램을 개발하였고, 연구를 위하여 모집한 17명의 교사를 대상으로 교육 프로그램을 적용하였다. 또한, 교사의 TPACK 변화를 관찰하기 위하여 박기철과 강성주(2014)의 연구에서 개발한 검사 도구를 교육 프로그램 투입 전, 후에 실시하였다. 적용 결과, TPACK-P 교육프로그램을 통하여 교사의 TPACK은 통계적으로 유의미한 향상이 나타났다. 세부 영역에서는 Pedagogical Knowledge(PK), Technological Knowledge(TK), Technological Content Knowledge(TCK), Technological Pedagogical Knowledge(TPK), Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge(TPACK)에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 하지만, Content Knowledge(CK)와 Pedagogical Content Knowledge(PCK)에서는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 결과를 통하여 TPACK-P 교육 프로그램이 모든 영역은 아니지만, 테크놀로지와 관련된 지식과 교사의 TPACK 발달에 효과적인 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 TPACK-P 교육 프로그램을 통한 교사의 TPACK 변화를 검사 도구를 통하여 측정하였다. 후속 연구에서는 TPACK-P 교육 프로그램에 참여한 교사의 수업 전문성의 변화와 학교 현장에서 수업의 변화, 이에 대한 학생들의 반응을 측정하는 연구가 필요하다.
