The aim of this study is to analyze current level of knowledge management(KM) performance in major container terminals. To achieve this aim, the evaluation criteria and KM performance index from pervious research were adopted. and current levels of KM performance of four leading container terminal operators which is located in Busan port were measured. The results firstly showed that average of KM level of these terminal operators was 67.7. And also, from the results of data analysis, it revealed that the weak point of KM in Korean leading terminal operators is official system and programs such as incentive policies, learning programs, and IT support systems for organizational knowledge sharing and knowledge codification.

This study analyzed the types of knowledge building discourse and knowledge building processes in small group learning using augmented reality. Eight 8th grade students took classes using augmented reality in solubility, boiling and melting points. These classes were carried out twice and all the classes were videotaped and recorded. Every student participated in a semi-structured interview. In the types of knowledge building discourse, the proportion of knowledge sharing and knowledge construction was similar. Beneath the knowledge sharing, the proportion of introductory level discussion was higher than identifying key elements of augmented reality. Recalling existing knowledge rarely appeared. Under the knowledge construction, the proportion of advanced level discussion was the highest and the proportion of sharing and critiquing ideas at a different level and efforts to rise above current levels of explanation was similar. The introductory level discussion and identifying key elements of augmented reality were developed into efforts to rise above current levels of explanation and sharing and critiquing ideas at a different level. Visualized results of knowledge building processes showed all the students' graph drew an upward curve, though cumulative number of impact value was different by each student. As a result of the study, effective ways of improving small group learning using augmented reality are discussed.

This study examined the effect of 119 emergency medical technicians' education over one year on the stroke knowledge and subjective perception of stroke care. A survey was conducted from February 17 through July 31, 2018, on 196 men and women who worked as 119 emergency medical technicians in G-do, C-do, and the provinces. The collected data was analyzed by SPSS 20.0 version for Windows. The findings of the study were as follows. First, the general characteristics of the 119 emergency medical technicians were found to have affected their stroke education and their need for professional education, awareness levels of knowledge concerning stroke and their subjective awareness levels of stroke patient care. Second, one-year education for the 119 emergency medical technicians was found to have impacted on their stroke knowledge and subjective awareness levels concerning care for stroke patients. Third, the knowledge of the 119 emergency medical technicians on stroke was found to have influenced their subjective awareness levels of stroke patient care. Therefore, the results suggested that regular education and proper management to improve their knowledge on stroke and subjective awareness.

The purpose of this study is to examine factors affecting knowledge about cardiopulmonary resuscitation of older persons. For the purpose of the study, 2022 Social Survey conducted by Statistics Korea was utilized and 8,862 older persons aged over 65 years old were analyzed. Results of the analyses showed that individual resources and social resources of older persons had significant effects on knowledge about cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Regarding individual resources, a higher level of education, a higher level of income, a higher level of subjective health status, and a higher level of cognitive function increased the level of knowledge about cardiopulmonary resuscitation of older persons. Regarding social resources, having a spouse and a higher level of satisfaction of relationship with children increased the level of knowledge about cardiopulmonary resuscitation of older persons. Based on results of this study, various interventions are needed to improve the level of knowledge about cardiopulmonary resuscitation among vulnerable older groups with regard to the coping knowledge with emergency situation.

Information center represents an important source which seems very well suited for knowledge management investigation. Information center is knowledge intensive and the use of advanced technology may transform the knowledge of business processes for delivering an unique capabilities in an organization. To exam knowledge management, organization culture, importance of knowledge, and support of information technology were identified as potential predictors of knowledge management support in information center. Three hypotheses have been tested with 43 database management specialist surveys. This study presents that the level of information sharing and knowledge exchange is significantly influenced by the extent support of information technology.

The research model was composed of five groups : 1) knowledge management and business strategic, 2) a culture and structure for knowledge management, 3) learning process and community 4) information technology to support knowledge management 5) a reward and performance measurement. The results of this research indicated that the level of knowledge management is different according to the characteristic of small firms. The result of the empirical analysis can be summarized as follows : First, the business culture for knowledge management is not performed pertinently. Second, the learning process for knowledge management and a reward and performance measurement is insufficient. Third, the characteristics of a firm should be considered for measuring the level of knowledge management.

The purposes of this study were to evaluate the level of PCK which middle school science teachers have on the concept of density and to analyze the characteristics of science teachers' content representation on the concept of density by their PCK level. For that purpose, 20 science teachers were selected and asked to answer the questionnaire on the eight aspects of CoRe. Results of this study indicated that the science teachers' PCK levels were low in general and evaluated as below average. The differences among the characteristics of science teachers' content representation by their PCK level were high in seven aspects of CoRe but the one aspect of the understanding of learner's preconception. These differences were analyzed and the patterns shown by the science teachers in eight aspects of CoRe were drawn in this study. It was also found that the characteristics drawn in eight aspects of content representation shown by the teachers whose PCK level was medium were close to those whose PCK level was low rather than high in most aspects of CoRe.

Since early 1990s, construction companies in Korea have tired to adopt knowledge management(KM) which has been emphasized by enterprises in advanced countries and academic researches to sustain competitive advantages. However, concentrations were onto applying KM without measuring current status level of knowledge management in their organizations. Therefore, competitive advantages can hardly meet their prior expectations, still less penetrating into the organizations. As a result, this research presents strategic model measuring organizational status of knowledge management originated by interviews and questionnaires on companies.
