Extended Ontology Model based on DBMS (DBMS 기반의 온톨로지 확장 모델)

  • 본 논문은 시맨틱 웹 기술이 융합된 지식기반 정보유통 플랫폼(OntoFrame-K$^{(R)}$)의 추론 서비스 시스템 (OntoThink-K$^{(R)}$)에서 이용되는 Persistent Model인 DBMS기반의 온톨로지 확장 모델에 대해 설명하고자 한다. OntoFrame-K$^{(R)}$는 대용량의 지식 데이터를 다루기 때문에 기존에 개발된 온톨로지 추론 엔진을 이용할 경우 많은 한계점을 가지게 된다. 따라서 우리는 대용량의 지식 데이터를 안정적으로 처리할 수 있으며 추론의 신뢰성과 정합성을 가지는 온톨로지 확장 모델을 설계, 구현하였다. 본 모듈은 OWL과 인스턴스 데이터를 트리플 형태로 변환하여 입력 받은 후, 온톨로지 스키마 규칙과 사용자 정의 규칙을 이용한 정방향 추론 방법으로 추론 서비스에서 필요한 지식데이터들을 생성하는 역할을 한다. 본 모델은 DBMS를 이용하여 대용량의 지식 데이터를 저장할 수 있으며, 추론 규칙에 따른 정방향 추론을 통해 지식 모델을 확장하기 때문에 데이터의 정합성이 보장된다.

확장형 규칙 표식 언어(eXtensible Rule Markup Language): 설계 원리 및 응용

  • XML(eXtensible Markup Language, XML)은 인터넷에서의 자료 교환을 위해 고안된 언어이다. 본 논문에서는 XML의 개념을 발전시킨 확장형 규칙 표식 언어(extensible Rule Markup Language, XRML)를 제안하고 있다. XRML은 웹 페이지에 내재된 암묵적 규칙의 식별, 구조적인 규칙으로의 변환, 사람과 소프트웨어 에이전트간의 지식 공유를 가능하게 하며, 이를 통해 지식기반시스템(Knowledge Based System)과 지식관리시스템(Knowledge Management System)의 통합을 실현할 수 있는 새로운 언어가 될 것이다. 본 고에서는 XRML이 이상과 같은 능력을 갖기 위해 반드시 갖춰야 할 6가지 설계 기준과, 이들 기준을 반영한 XRML 구성 요소로서 RIML(Rule Identification Markup Language), RSML(Rule Structure Markup Language)과 RTML(Rule Triggering Markup Language)을 설계하였으며, 개별 요소들의 기능 및 특성과 함께 태그와 DTD(Document Type Definition)도 식별하였다. 나아가 전술한 구조를 기반으로 하여 XRML을 워크플로우 시스템상의 폼처리에 적용한 Form/XRML이라는 프로토타입 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 프로토타입의 개발을 통해, 지식기반시스템의 지식을 활용하는 RTML이 폼을 비롯한 다양한 응용시스템에 내재될 수 있으며, 웹 페이지의 암묵적 규칙과 지식기반시스템의 규칙이 일관성 있게 유지될 수 있음을 보여 주었다. 요컨대 본 연구는 XRML이 지능형 웹으로 발전하기 위한 새로운 도구이며, KBS와 US의 통합을 위한 중요한 도구임을 입증하였다는 점에서 큰 의의를 갖는다고 하겠다.

  • For preservice teachers' instrumental-to-relational pedagogical content knowledge transformations, this research designed several didactical tasks based on Kinach's cognitive strategies. The researcher identified preservice teachers' understanding about what is a definition and how to teach it. By challenging their fixed ideas about definitions, the researcher could motivate them to embrace the new teaching approach which guides reinvention of definitions. The PCK development was not the simple process of filling their tabular rasa PCK with theories of mathematics education, but the dialectical process of identifying, challenging, changing and extending preservice teachers' existent PCK. This research will contribute to explore new directions of mathematics teachers' PCK development and the method of teacher education.

A Conceptual Framework for Knowledge Enhanced E-government Portal (지식강화 전자정부포털의 개념적 프레임워크)

  • Majority of knowledge management(KM) studies in e-government have been confined to facilitate KM within an organization. But due to citizen-centric(citizen-driven) paradigm shift and advance of web 2.0 communication in recent years, KM between governments and citizen in e-government portals is becoming an important consideration. So a series of studies on knowledge enhanced e-government portal get under way by considering that it is necessary to enhance knowledge of e-government portal and assuming it improves the usability of portal. While the topics of knowledge enhancement and e-government(portal) are widely discussed in their own domains there is a paucity of studies that address these constructs in a joint context. This paper aims to propose conceptual framework of knowledge enhanced e-government portal through structuralization of theoretical discussion with holistic approach. This framework presents an evolutional path of knowledge enhanced e-government portal that consists of three phases and it will be used for realizing the knowledge enhanced portal project as a basic reference model.

Trends and Tasks in Research on Didactic Transposition in Mathematics Education (교수학적 변환 연구의 동향과 과제)

  • Research on didactic transposition in mathematics education has about 25-year and about 35-year long history in and out of Korea, respectively. This study attempts to investigate in trends of those research and to suggest tasks needed to be tackled. Major findings are followed. First, studies done in Korea tended to focus on the application of the didactic transposition theory for proving its effectiveness in understanding mathematics textbooks and mathematics lessons in-depth. It is suggested to conduct meta-analysis of the accumulated results or analysis of further applications of the didactic transposition theory to improve theoretical aspects of didactic transposition. Second, new categories for extreme teaching phenomenon were found and new typology in knowledge to be considered in the didactic transposition was developed in a few studies done in other subject matter education. Application of these to mathematics education may enhance research in didactic transposition of mathematical knowledge. Third, praxeology or a complex of praxeology for Korean school mathematics should be explored as did in other countries. Fourth, there have been rich attempts to link perspectives in didactic transposition to other perspectives or fields such as anthropology, human and education in technology era, praxeology theory in economics, epistemology in other countries but not in Korea. It is suggested to extend the scope of discussion on didactic transposition and to relate various concepts given in other disciplines. Fifth, clarification or negotiation of meaning for the main terms used in the discussion on didactic transposition such as personalization, contextualization, depersonalization, decontextualization, Topaze Effect, Meta-Cognitive Shift is suggested by comparing researchers' various descriptions or uses of the terms.

A Knowledge Graph-based Chatbot to Prevent the Leakage of LLM User's Sensitive Information (LLM 사용자의 민감정보 유출 방지를 위한 지식그래프 기반 챗봇)

  • With the increasing demand for and utilization of large language models (LLMs), the risk of user sensitive information being inputted and leaked during the use of LLMs also escalates. Typically recognized as a tool for mitigating the hallucination issues of LLMs, knowledge graphs, constructed independently from LLMs, can store and manage sensitive user information separately, thereby minimizing the potential for data breaches. This study, therefore, presents a knowledge graph-based chatbot that transforms user-inputted natural language questions into queries appropriate for the knowledge graph using LLMs, subsequently executing these queries and extracting the results. Furthermore, to evaluate the functional validity of the developed knowledge graph-based chatbot, performance tests are conducted to assess the comprehension and adaptability to existing knowledge graphs, the capability to create new entity classes, and the accessibility of LLMs to the knowledge graph content.

  • This paper proposes a keyword-based query translation system for the semantic web. With the relationship between keywords and ontology structure information, the system converts keyword based queries into queries written by formal query language which is appropriate for the semantic web. As a result, casual web users could not only express queries easily but also obtain the better result.

  • The goal of this study is to investigate a didactic transposition method of text books and high school students' understanding for the Normal Distribution. To accomplish this goal, framework descriptors were developed to analyse the didactic transposition method and interpret the students' understanding based on the Historico-Genetic process of the Normal Distribution, the meaning of the Normal Distribution as a scholarly knowledge and the results of previous studies on students' understanding for the Normal Distribution. This study presented several recommendations for instruction of the Normal Distribution according to the results of analysing the didactic transposition method and interpreting the students' understanding in terms of the developed framework.

  • Relation extraction plays a role in for the process of transforming a sentence into a form of knowledge base. In this paper, we focus on predicates in a sentence and aim to identify the relevant knowledge base properties required to elucidate the relationship between entities, which enables a computer to understand the meaning of a sentence more clearly. Distant Supervision is a well-known approach for relation extraction, and it performs lexicalization tasks for knowledge base properties by generating a large amount of labeled data automatically. In other words, the predicate in a sentence will be linked or mapped to the possible properties which are defined by some ontologies in the knowledge base. This lexical and ontological linking of information provides us with a way of generating structured information and a basis for enrichment of the knowledge base.

  • 개체명 연결이란 주어진 문장에 출현한 단어를 위키피디아와 같은 지식 기반 상의 하나의 개체와 연결하여 특정 개체가 무엇인지 식별하여 모호성을 해결하는 작업이다. 본 연구에서는 위키피디아의 링크를 이용하여 개체 표현(Entity mention)과 학습 데이터, 지식 기반을 구축한다. 또한, Mention/Context 쌍의 표현과 Entity 표현의 코사인 유사도를 이용하여 Score를 구하고, 이를 통해 개체명 연결 문제를 랭킹 문제로 변환한다. 개체의 이름과 분류뿐만 아니라 개체의 설명, 개체 임베딩 등의 자질을 이용하여 모델을 확장하고 결과를 비교한다. 확장된 모델의 개체 링킹 성능은 89.63%의 정확도를 보였다.
