The purpose of this study was to Investigate the preservice elementary teachers' pedagogical content knowledge of addition and subtraction. The subjects for data collection were 29 preservice elementary teachers and data were collected through open ended problems. The findings imply that the preservice elementary teachers show low level of understanding of addition and subtraction such as the word problem posing and the contexts of part-part-whole and compare. The research results indicate that the preservice elementary teachers possess primarily a procedural knowledge of pedagogical content knowledge and don't understand relationship with real-world situation. This study provide the information available on developing program for preservice elementary teachers.

Even though geometry is an important part basic to mathematics, studies on the program designs and teaching strategies of geometry are insufficient. The aims of this study are to propose the model of program design for autonomous learners taking their characteristics of the mathematically gifted into consideration. The core of teaching materials are analytic geometry and projective geometry. And the new teaching strategy will introduce three steps ; a draft strategies step(problem presentation, problem solving), a supportive strategies step(abstraction of a mathematical concept, mathematical induction, and extension), a transference strategies step to teaching strategy suitable for mathematically gifted. As a result, this study will suggest the effective methods of geometry teaching for the mathematically gifted.

In this paper, we research on an evaluation model and method for the teaching and loaming using ICT. There are 8 types information search, information analysis, information guidance, collaboration research, discussion with expert, discussion by the web, pen pal by the web, information production in the teaching and teaming using ICT. we propose an evaluation model and method for information search and information analysis which teachers frequently use. Because an evaluation model and mend for the teaching and learning using ICT doesn’t exist, I expect that the evaluation model and method proposed in this paper is effective in the teaching and loaming using ICT.

One of the most urgent problems facing 21 century might seem to be a preparation for an advanced education against an information society and have relation to a new information supporting system in teaching as well as leaning. Nevertheless, our educational circumstances have a lot of problems because an effective information supporting contents for teaching and leaning is insufficient. Especially, we've never been making every effort to develope educational contents providing students with a type of information and knowledge database even though the education which come into use internet has been raising a social issue. The present instruction using ICT has a problem that it inclines toward instructing the simple technique of information or communication technology. In this paper, to cope with this problem, we propose a new Teaching-Learning model using ICT. The previous teaching-learning models using ICT are investigated and analyzed. Then, the criteria for evaluating the ability to put information literacy into practice are evenly reflected in the proposed model, is evenly reflected. The result of experiment reveals that the proposed model enhances the ability to put information literacy into practice on 5 items of 6 qualitative evaluation criteria.

Formative evaluation is an evaluation activity performed in the process of teaching and learning. The general purpose of formative evaluation is to provide the feedback and correct identified problems in the process of teaching and learning. In this paper, we propose a system which provides each student with individualized feedback in formative evaluation. The evaluation questionnaire in the system are produced on the basis of the section criteria such as knowledge, comprehension, and application. The evaluation result is categorized and evaluated according to the given criteria. Then different feedback is provided for each student advising where he or she should make up for weak areas. Moreover our system offers instructors the itemized correct answer ratio data as well as sets of individualized feedback delivered to students. It gives an additional benefit to ensure the improvement of teaching methods.

The PCK of teachers about informatics subject, which is viewed as one of required subjects in today's information society, is linked to what and how to teach, and that is very significant in terms of academic education. However, there are currently no efforts to develop items geared toward evaluating the PCK of teachers about informatics subject or to make a factor analysis of those items, though the importance of that subject in information society has been discussed. The purpose of this study was to develop and validate an instrument to size up the PCK of preservice elementary teachers about informatics subject. The finalized instrument consisted of 39 items regarding five factors that involved knowledge of curriculum, knowledge of expression, knowledge of content, knowledge of evaluation and knowledge of teaching methods.

This paper present a teaching method of 21C University Education Paradigm after survey the earlier several effective teaching methods. We discuss the efficient pre-teaching, also we propose several teaching methods for really teaching. And we discuss the efficient ending of teaching. They are as following. : lesson configuration, good usage for first time of teaching, pleasant face-to-face talk, teaching techniques check list, question method, caution item when the teaching ending, etc. Also, we propose the method of ending techniques for teaching ending time. The proposed teaching method is the most efficiency in case of using selective the above mentioned several efficient teaching method.

The Knowledge-Based Society in $21^{st}$ century requires innovation in colleges' roles and characteristics. The recent colleges stress researches on industry and school in industrialized society; they try to improve the quality of higher education and to have responsibility of instructing vocational education. However, professors do not have enough opportunities to consider about teaching methods. Thus, during the class, they often fail to demonstrate their actual experience. This is because they have not gained enough chances to improve professionalism of lecture. Therefore, colleges have to provide more opportunities to professors to improve their abilities of teaching. This paper proposes mentoring programs, portfolio, and micro-teaching for improvement of lecture.

This study tried to look into various linguistic elements of MMORPG and suggested teaching methods to be applied in teaching and learning English. To support this idea, diverse attributes of CALL applications were investigated and suggested suitable position of MMORPG in technological stream of CALL. After that, focusing on 'Goonzu Global', the linguistic environment of MMORPG was considered. Based on aforementioned results, this study proposed an effective method to utilize MMORPG in teaching English adopting three teaching methods; collaborative method, task-based learning and problem-based learning.
