  • Although the environment in virtual space (hereinafter referred to as VR) has the problem of being difficult to access compared to existing PCs and smartphones, it has the advantage of being more realistic and providing endless experiences and functions compared to existing environments. In this VR environment, there is a need to develop technologies that help people handle tasks more conveniently in the virtual world by studying interfaces and interactions using ChatGPT, a recently popular AI technology. The ChatGPT interface and interaction in the VR environment are also studied to provide personalized services. Through this, users can choose the interface that suits them and the secretary interface can also provide customized services optimized for users. Accordingly, in this study, we design a convenient interaction method by linking the ChatGPT system in a VR environment and use it as a previous study for the development of an AI assistant.

  • Smart Grid is the next-generation intelligent power grid that maximizes energy efficiency with the convergence of IT technologies and the existing power grid. Smart Grid is created solution for standardization and interoperability. Smart Grid industry enables consumers to check power rates in real time for active power consumption. It also enables suppliers to measure their expected power generation load, which stabilizes the operation of the power system. Smart industy was ecolved actively cause Wireless communication is being considered for AMI system and wireless communication using ZigBee sensor has been applied in various industly. In this paper, we proposed efficient addressing scheme for improving the performance of the routing algorithm using ZigBee in Smart Grid environment. A distributed address allocation scheme used an existing algorithm has wasted address space. Therefore proposing x, y coordinate axes from divide address space of 16 bit to solve this problem. Each node was reduced not only bitwise but also multi hop using the coordinate axes while routing than Cskip algorithm. I compared the performance between the standard and the proposed mechanism through the numerical analysis. Simulation verify performance about decrease averaging multi hop count that compare proposing algorithm and another. The numerical analysis results show that proposed algorithm reduce multi hop than ZigBee distributed address assignment and another.

The Negotiation Model of Negotiation Agents for m-Commerce (모바일 전자상거래를 위한 협상 에이전트의 협상모델)

  • In context of e-commerce, negotiation is a procedure to help negotiate between buyer and seller by adjusting their negotiation issues such as price and in terms of payment. We used intelligent agent and mobile device to promote new framework of e-commerce. Moreover, this framework can help buyers and sellers to carry their commercial transactions effectively. In regard to that issue, we need to carry out the research of negotiation agent that can be used in e-commerce fields. In this paper, we modeled the negotiation using CSP for the performance of agent in m-commerce environment. Furthermore we implemented interface for mobile device to extract buyer's requirement and preference easily Besides that we used utility function to make a decision for various evaluation functions and suggestions that are used for evaluation of negotiation issues. A difficulty of generating offer is dependent on the number of negotiation issues and the range of the values. Therefore, if any offer has a number of negotiation issues and the range of values are wide, the search space will be exponentially expanded. There have been many studies fur solving this problem, we applied those techniques to improve the agent's ability of negotiation. For example, a contract can be accomplished by exchanging seller and buyer's offer that is generated by agent to adjust the requisite profit for each party. Finally, we show the improvement of satisfaction as the negotiation is processed.

A Personalized Music Recommendation System with a Time-weighted Clustering (시간 가중치와 가변형 K-means 기법을 이용한 개인화된 음악 추천 시스템)

  • Recently, personalized-adaptive services became the center of interest in the world. However the services about music are not widely diffused out. That is because the analyzing of music information is more difficult than analyzing of text information. In this paper, we propose a music recommendation system which provides personalized services. The system keeps a user's listening list and analyzes it to select pieces of music similar to the user's preference. For analysis, the system extracts properties from the sound wave of music and the time when the user listens to music. Based on the properties, a piece of music is mapped into a point in the property space and the time is converted into the weight of the point. At this time, if we select and analyze the group which is selected by user frequently, we can understand user's taste. However, it is not easy to predict how many groups are formed. To solve this problem, we apply the K-means clustering algorithm to the weighted points. We modified the K-means algorithm so that the number of clusters is dynamically changed. This manner limits a diameter so that we can apply this algorithm effectively when we know the range of data. By this algorithm we can find the center of each group and recommend the similar music with the group. We also consider the time when music is released. When recommending, the system selects pieces of music which is close to and released contemporarily with the user's preference. We perform experiments with one hundred pieces of music. The result shows that our proposed algorithm is effective.

Design of Levitation and Propulsion Controller for Magnetic Levitated Logistic Transportation System (자기부상 물류이송시스템의 부상 및 추진제어기 설계)

  • In the paper, we propose a levitation and a propulsion controller for the magnetic levitation logistic transportation system. The levitation controller is designed considering the mutual influence of the electromagnets to minimize roll and pitch movements. In order to solve the structural disadvantages of the magnetic levitation transportation system, we improve the problem of the existing controller by applying the exponential filter to the reference input. DSP-based control hardware is developed and the levitation control method is verified by levitation experiments to the air gap goal. The propulsion controller uses the space vector voltage modulation method. The propulsion controller is designed to follow the position and velocity profile by detecting the absolute position from the bar code information attached to the rail. The position control result shows satisfactory performance through the propulsion control reciprocating motion experiment.

  • In high-technology digital age that change everyday fast, Web became most familiar and essential tool to public. Since creation of web, web began from the first step web that offer simple information and contents. and now, it have developed to step offer dynamic contents that various multimedia components are combined. In future, it will develop to the next generation, intelligence style Semantic Web that Meta Communication of meaning-base is possible. In this paper, we examine about concept and characteristic of Semantic web that is a point technology in next generation. Also, we studied about example and practical use in personalized contents side that is based on Semantic Meta-Communication system. Semantic web is value industry field that has infinite possibility and has necessary of a lot of studies and development yet. Therefore in digital age, we expect this paper will help for space construction of more mature communication.

Development of Intelligent GNSS Positioning Technique Based on Low Cost Module for an Alley Navigation (골목길 내비게이션을 위한 저가 모듈 기반의 지능형 GNSS 측위 기술 개발)

  • Since GNSS signals get blocked by buildings in urban canyons or narrow alleys, it is very difficult to secure a enough number of visible satellites for satellite navigation in those poor signal-reception environments. In those situations, one cannot get their coordinates or obtain accurate positions. In this study, a couple of strategies for improving positioning accuracy in urban canyons were developed and their performance was verified. First of all, we combined GPS and GLONASS measurements together and devised algorithms to quality-control observed signals and eliminate outliers. Also, a new multipath reduction scheme was applied to minimize its effect by utilizing SNR values of the observed signals. For performance verification of the developed technique, a narrow alley of 10m width located near the back gate of the Inha University was selected as the test-bed, and then we conducted static and kinematic positioning at four pre-surveyed points. We found that our new algorithms produced an 45% improvement in an open-sky environment compared with the positioning result of a low-cost u-blox receiver. In the alleys, 3-D accuracy improved by an average of 37%. In the case of kinematic positioning, especially, biases showing up in regular receivers got eliminated significantly through our new filtering algorithms.

  • This study explores potential capability of a machine learning approach for monitoring urban morphology based on an evident case study. The case study conveys year 2006 investigations on interpreting urban morphology of Boston Main Streets by applying a machine learning approach. From the lesson of the precedent study, in 2016, another field research and interview was conducted to compare changes in urban situation, data commons culture, and technology innovation during the decade. This paper describes open possibilities to advance urban monitoring for morphological changes. Most of all, a multi-participatory data platform enables managing urban data system in real time. Second, collaboration with machines with artificial intelligence can intervene the framework of the urban management system as well as transform it through new demands of innovative industries. Recently, urban regeneration became a dominant urban planning strategy in Korean, therefore, urban monitoring is on demand. It is timely important to correspond to in-situ problems based on empirical research.

A Method for 3D Human Pose Estimation based on 2D Keypoint Detection using RGB-D information (RGB-D 정보를 이용한 2차원 키포인트 탐지 기반 3차원 인간 자세 추정 방법)

  • Recently, in the field of video surveillance, deep learning based learning method is applied to intelligent video surveillance system, and various events such as crime, fire, and abnormal phenomenon can be robustly detected. However, since occlusion occurs due to the loss of 3d information generated by projecting the 3d real-world in 2d image, it is need to consider the occlusion problem in order to accurately detect the object and to estimate the pose. Therefore, in this paper, we detect moving objects by solving the occlusion problem of object detection process by adding depth information to existing RGB information. Then, using the convolution neural network in the detected region, the positions of the 14 keypoints of the human joint region can be predicted. Finally, in order to solve the self-occlusion problem occurring in the pose estimation process, the method for 3d human pose estimation is described by extending the range of estimation to the 3d space using the predicted result of 2d keypoint and the deep neural network. In the future, the result of 2d and 3d pose estimation of this research can be used as easy data for future human behavior recognition and contribute to the development of industrial technology.

Application of Responsive Identity Design in Sejong City: Focusing on Minimalism (세종특별자치시 반응형 아이덴티티 디자인 적용: 미니멀리즘을 중심으로)

  • The Sejong City was launched in July 2012 and was initially focused on the relocation of central administrative agencies, but it has been changing from an administrative city to a fourth industrial city since 2019 to a smart city and the implementation of Korea's New Deal in 2020. Identity design needs to be reevaluated accordingly. In particular, the web environment is also calling for an optimized identity design due to rapid changes in information technology such as various wearables and the Internet of Things. As the number of responsive web sites where information and communication technologies can be developed and optimized screens can be viewed increased, identity was intuitively communicated to users and designs were applied to make them more distinct and empathetic to other cities. Prior to the study, we looked at prior studies on the changing times in the web environment and the reactive web, and analyzed the identity design of the reactive web and applied minimalism characteristics step by step. Based on this, we surveyed experts and non-experts on the proposed survey by applying minimalist characteristics (simple, repeatability, and spatiality) of reactive identity and found that it was easily and intuitively recognizable in a small web environment such as mobile. Therefore, we hope that Sejong City's identity will continue to be studied in various ways and efficient management so that identity can be established in accordance with the changes of the times.
