Purpose: The purpose was to investigate the physiological parameter and physical health status and health perception in the elderly, and to find the correlation between these variables. The subjects were 139 in Kyungi senior center. Method: The instruments for this study were physiological parameters, which were composed of vital capacity, blood pressure, pulse oxygenation, hand grip power, body fat and physical health status scale developed by researcher, and health perception scale developed by Ware(1976). The data were analyzed by the SPSS-PC 11.0 version. Results: 1) 7.9% of subjects were included in abnormal range of vital capacity, 40.3% were systolic hypertension and 11.5% were diastolic hypertension. And 92.1% were included in normal range of pulse oxygenation, 79.8% were weakened hand grip power, and 10.1% of subjects were included in normal range of body fat. 2) The total mean score of the physical health status was 26.34 of a possible maximum score of 45. The physical health status score of women was lower than man's. 3) The mean score of man's health perception was 24.52 and women's was 20.39 of a possible maximum score of 44. 4) There was a significant positive correlation between hand grip power and physical health status(r=.28, p=.001). And a significant correlation between physical health status and health perception was found (r=.24, p=.004). Conclusion: It is concluded that the blood pressure, hand grip power and body fat among the physiological parameters of elderly subjects in Kyungi senior center were included in abnormal range. The factors were related life style. therefore, it is suggested that the health education to change life style for the elderly is needed.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe sports injuries among elderly people and to compare physical activity, perceived health status and exercise self-efficacy between elderly people who had experienced a sports injury and elderly people who hadn't. Methods: The sample of this study were 100 elderly in Korea, 51 of whom had had a sports injury. The study used questionnaires to gather data. There were 8 demographic factors, 4 factors related to physical activity, perceived health status and exercise self-efficacy of the subjects. Data were analyzed by frequencies, chi-square test, and t-test. Result: Among the sports injured elders, one occurrence of a sport injury was 86.3%. There were more outdoor than indoor sports injuries of elders (66.7%), and sports injuries of elders occurred more in the winter (82.7%). The major cause of the sports injuries was loss of balance. Ankles were frequently damaged from these injuries. The most significant change after the sports injury was reduction of physical activity (60.8%). There were significant differences between sports injured elderly and non-injured elderly for age (${\chi}^2=2.58$, p=.011) and the amount of physical activity (t=1.96, p=.050), but there was no significant difference in perceived health status and exercise self-efficacy. Conclusion: To prevent sports injuries in the elderly means to maintain a medium level of physical activity and to improve their balance.

The subjects of the study were 147 adults, and the collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 27.0 program using the frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation, independent t-test, ANOVA, pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. The results, the acceptance of the COVID-19 antibody test has a significant static correlation with the social influence, the COVID-19 risk perception, and the negative correlation with the subjective health. The factor affecting the acceptance of the COVID-19 antibody test of the general adult was a social influence, and their explanatory power was 50.2%. As a result of this study, COVID-19 antibody tests may be used by preparing effective measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 infection.

This study is to propose an acceptance model that explains the use of telemedicine effects for chronic disease. For this purpose, the effect factors and variables for Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) were investigated through a structural equation model by performing a sample survey for 210 senior patients who are under treatment with telemedicine in Kangwon area in 2013. The findings from the results are as follows: 1) perceived usefulness and perceived easy of use influence the intent to use telemedicine; 2) open-minded patients group is more positive to the easy of use and usefulness for the telemedicine; 3) it matches with the previous research that shows the trust in telemedicine system is affected by the experience for practical use of information; 4) it is known that the external control factors for health affect perceived usefulness positively. This study contributes to optimize the TAM by verifying the acceptance of telemedicine system in a rural community.
