  • Emotional intelligence is investigated in terms of a composing machine as a modern abstract art form. Music has the longest tradition of being an art form which has an explicit formal foundation. Formal aspects of traditional and modern music theory are explained in terms of simple numerical relationship and illustrated with examples. The exploration of art in the view of intelligence, information and structure will restore the balanced sense of art and science which seeks happiness in life.

  • LIBL(Linguistic Instruction Based Leaning) is an effective learning algorithm for fuzzy controller which interpretes and uses natural language of human The possibiliy of the LIBL algorithm to the fuzzy control of dynamic systems is investigated in this paper. Rise time, percent overshoot, and steady stste are proposed as suitable meaning elements for dynamic systems. A supervisor is able to give "higer-level linguistic instruction" to the learning algorithm through these three meaning elements Simulation results for a DC servo motor show the validity of the proposed algorithm.

  • 진화와 학습 사이의 상호 연관성을 연구하기 위해 인공 진화기법(artificial evolutionary algorithm)과 신경회로망(neural networks)을 이용한 학습 기법들이 사용되어 왔다. 신경 회로망 구조를 가지는 이동 로봇의 제어기의 구조와 파라미터를 결정하기 위한 방법으로 진화적 학습(evolutionary learning) 방법이 제안되었다. 제안된 방법에서 진화적 학습은 실제 로봇을 통해 on-line 방식으로 이루어지며, 장애물 회피 문제를 통해 유용성을 검증하고 진화 과정에 학습이 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 그리고 수학적으로 제시되기 힘든 진화 학습의 평가에 설계자의 개입을 허용하는 인터액티브 진화 알고리즘(interactive evolutionary algorithm)방법을 모색해 보았다.

  • The major purpose of this article is to formulate a class of Space Time Autoregressive Moving Average(STARMA) model and Space Time Bilinear model(STBL), to discuss some of the their statistical properties such as model, identification approaches, some procedure for estimation and the predictions, and to compare the STARMA model with the STBL model. For illustration, The Mumps data reported from eight city & provinces monthly over the years 2001-2006 are used and the result from STARMA and STBL model are compared with using SSF(Sum of Square Prediction Error).

A Study on Iron Compounds of Volcanic Basalt at Hantan Riverside in Cheorwon (철원 한탄강유역 현무암의 철 화합물에 관한 연구)

  • Fe compounds of volcanic basalt samples distributed at the Hantan riverside in Cheorwon were investigated by means of X-ray diffractometry (XRD), X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF) and $M{\ddot{o}}ssbauer$ spectroscopy. We found that samples were typical basic rock which consisted of augite, anorthite, albite and sanidine etc. They had the total amount of iron compounds including hematite (${\alpha}-Fe_2O_3$) varies from 6.20 w% to 12.8 w% depending on the different regions by XRF. The $M{\ddot{o}}ssbauer$ spectra of the samples were consisted of three doublets. The balance state of Fe ions of all samples were chiefly $Fe^{2+}$, and $Fe^{2+}/Fe^{3+}$ ratios were 2.27~3.42.

  • Compressed sensing is a signal processing technique for efficiently acquiring and reconstructing in an under-sampled (i.e., under Nyquist rate) representation. A block compressed sensing with projected Landweber (BCS-SPL) framework is most widely known, but, it has high computational complexity at decoder side. In this paper, by introducing adaptive exit criteria instead of fixed exit criteria to SPL framework, an effective fast algorithm is designed in such a way that it can utilize efficiently the sparsity property in DCT coefficients during the iterative thresholding process. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm results in the significant reduction of the decoding time, while providing better visual qualities than conventional algorithm.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide the information of renal disease patients and to provide evidence the physical therapy recipient of renal disease patients. The reviews suggest that renal disease patients are physical inactivity situation, increase on cardiopulmonary risk factor, developed complication disease, increased psychosocial factor like depress and anxiety, decreased Quality of life because their disease effects. Thus. exercise program seems to have beneficial effect on physiologic and psychosocial functioning, Quality of life. It is expected that this study will consider rehabilitation program for internal medicine patients and should be consider as availability of therapeutic exercise program on understanding renal disease in physical therapy.
