Learning Opposite Concept for Incomplete Domain Theory (불완전한 영역이론을 위한 반대개념의 학습)

  • 불완전한 계획 영역 이론은 오류 영역(noisy domain)에서 하나의 상태에 상반된 연산자들이 적용되는 불일치성 문제를 야기할 수 있다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해서 본 논문은 상태를 기술하기 위해 다치 논리를 도입하여 제어지식으로서의 부정적 선행조건을 학습하는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 기계에는 알려지지 않은 이러한 제어지식이 인간에게는 반대개념으로 잠재적으로 사용되고 있다. 이러한 잠재된 개념을 학습하기 위해 본 논문은 반대 연산자들로 구성된 사이클을 영역이론으로부터 기계적으로 생성하고, 이 연산자들에 대한 실험을 통해 반대 리터럴(literal)들을 추출한다. 학습된 규칙은 불일치성을 방지하면서 동시에 중복된 선행조건을 제거하여 연산자를 단순화시킬 수 있다.Abstract An incomplete planning domain theory can cause an inconsistency problem in a noisy domain, allowing two opposite operators to be applied to a state. To solve the problem, we present a novel method to learn a negative precondition as control knowledge by introducing a three-valued logic for state description. However, even though the control knowledge is unknown to a machine, it is implicitly known as opposite concept to a human. To learn the implicit concept, we mechanically generate a cycle composed of opposite operators from a domain theory and extract opposite literals through experimenting the operators. A learned rule can simplify the operator by removing a redundant precondition while preventing inconsistency.

Management of the Preservation Media for Electronic Records (전자기록물을 위한 보존매체의 관리)

  • Traditional paper records have two aspects such that the paper records are information, and are information media itself. The preservation media for the paper records seems to be another forms for original ones including microfilm and optical disks. On the other hand, new-coming electronic records lack the aspect of information media. To guarantee the existency of the original electronic records we need the preservation media for the electronic records, different from the media for the traditional paper records. The preservation media helps the Authenticity, integrity, and usability as well. This paper describes the need for the preservation media, identifies problems on the existing concept for them, derives the principles to resolve the problems, and suggests the management policy based on the principles.

  • 의미기반 정보 검색, 자연어 질의 응답, 지식 자동 습득, 담화 처리 등 높은 수준의 자연언어처리 시스템에서 의미처리를 위한 대용량의 지식 베이스가 필요하다. 이러한 지식 베이스 중에서 가장 기본적인 것이 워드넷이다. 이러한 워드넷을 이용함으로써 여러 의미 사이의 의미 유사도를 구할 수 있고, 속성을 물려받을 수 있기 때문에 비슷한 속성을 가진 의미들을 한꺼번에 다루는 데 유용하다. 본 논문에서는 기본 어휘를 바탕으로 기존의 명사 워드넷과 단일어 사전을 이용하여 한국어 동사 워드넷을 구축하는 방법을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 1차 작업을 통하여 구축한 동사 워드넷에는 동사 1,757개에 대한 4,717개의 의미(중복을 포함하면 모두 5,235개의 의미)를 포함하고 있으며 특별히 의미가 많이 편중된 14개의 개념에 속한 571개의 의미를 53개의 세부 개념으로 재분류하여 최종적으로 모두 767개의 계층적 개념으로 구성된 동사 워드넷이 만들어 졌다.

  • 컴퓨터를 활용한 지식과 정보의 고도 처리를 위해 온톨로지를 구축하고 활용하려는 요구가 강해지고 있다. 이런 요구에 부흥하여 온톨로지의 구축 방법에 대한 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다 그러나 현재까지의 온톨로지 구축 이론과 온톨로지 개발 도구가 실제 구현 목적과 사례에 따라 제한적인 부분에서 개발되어 사용되고 있다. 그러므로 구축하고자 하는 분야의 온톨로지에 맞는 적절한 구축 프로세스와 도구가 필요하다. 분야 온톨로지(domain ontology)를 구축함에 있어 특정 분야의 전문가 또는 비전문가가 언어자원으로부터 지식을 개념화(conceptualization), 형식화(formalization)하여 온톨로지를 구축할 수 있도록 분야 관련 언어자원에 근거하여 온톨로지를 구축할 수 있는 온톨로지 구축 프로세스(OntoProcessl))를 제안한다. 그리고, 다수의 온톨로지 구축자가 동시에 같은 분야의 온톨로지를 구축할 경우, 개념화 과정에서 서로 다른 구축자가 동일한 개념을 중복 정의하거나, 형식화 과정에서 형식언어 이해 부족으로 인한 구축 능률 저하 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 이를 위해 메타 온톨로지(meta ontology)를 이용하여 다중 온톨로지를 구축할 때 발생하는 문제를 해결하는 다중 온톨로지 구축 프로세스를 제안한다. 현재 이 프로세스에 근거하여 온톨로지 구축 시스템(OntoCS2))을 개발하였고 국가 IT 온톨로지 인프라 기술 개발 프로젝트에서 IT분야 온톨로지의 개발에 활용되고 있다.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop sequential concept tests (ConcepTest) for teachers' conceptual change on the straight propagation of light through in-service training of science teachers by peer instruction. We revised the ConcepTests for attaining the goal concept by implementing similar training courses for teachers three times and analyzing the results using both Hake gain and verbal protocol. The final form helped most teachers to reach the goal concept. While teachers are solving a given concept problem test, they had shown not only significant cognitive conflict to select one among candidate answers, but also used the concept obtained through the previous problem. The sequential ConcepTests developed in this study can be useful for training elementary and secondary teachers or pre-service teacher education.

  • Facilities Management(FM) System is widely spread GIS applications introduced in local governments. Over the last few years many local governments in Korea have developed facilities management systems, especially for underground facilities(drinking water and sewerage) and road management systems. The concept of Standardized Facilities Management Software(SFMS) was developed to minimize the duplication of efforts in local governments. Recently local governments try to change their direction to Urban Information Systems(UIS) which can comprehensively manage their information project carried out by each sector. Therefore this study suggests a method for introducing a Standardized Facilities Management Software to help constructing urban information system. This method is expected to prevent double investment, reduce project time, minimize the risk of project failure, and activate information projects.

  • Various contents are needed by many users as more developing the internet technologies. However, the conventional contents service structure can't support these requirements sufficiently. Therefor, the UCC that novel contents type is made based on the Web 2.0 concepts. It is needed the contents authoring tools that can use easily for creating multimedia UCC. In this paper, we analyze problems of exist ActiveX based contents authoring tool and local application based contents editor. we design and propose new authoring system that solve problems of exist system.

  • The dynamic responses in the subsurface outflow, surface saturation area, soil moisture storage are established by numerical experiments with Richards equation. In addition to this, the dynamical relationship between surface saturation area and subsurface outflow, and between surface saturation area and soil moisture storage are also determined by varying the hillslope shape, soil type, and boundary condition. The simulation results indicate that the dynamical relationships between surface saturation area and subsurface outflow, and between surface saturation area and soil moisture storage are approximated by the steadystate relationships. And the dynamic responses of subsurface outflow and surface saturation area are characterized by the double peaks although the rainfall pattern is asimple pulse input. As a result of numerical simulation, the physical mechanism for the occurrence of the double peaks is explained using the concept of variable source area.

  • This paper is studied for the recognition of occluded objects by fuzzy inference. The images are transformed a group of linear line segments, which is formed local features extracted from curvature points, using polygonal approximation. The features extracted from images are representes to the fuzzified data which is mapped into fuzzy concepts to represent the fuzziness, and the recognition of a model from scenes is performed by fuzzy inference using the production rulse which is generated from the model image. It is considered that the recognition results according to the change of degree of fuzziness in the experiments, and the experimental results for 30 scenes contained 120 models is obtained 92.5% of recognition rate.
