This paper discussed on the effect of an intermediate support on the stability of a beam resting on elastic foundation subjected to follower force. The stability and dynamic responses of a beam resting on elastic foundation subjected to follower force are analyzed based on the finite element method. The dynamic responses of the system are studied by the mode superposition method to observe the damping rate of the motion. The beam resting on elastic foundation subjected to follower force loses its stability by flutter type or divergence type, depending on the location of the intermediate support.

The seismic isolation system reduces the seismic vibration that is transmitted from foundation to upper structure. This seismic isolation system can be classified into base isolation and mid-story isolation by the installation location. In this study, the seismic behavior of arch structure with mid-story isolation is analyzed to verify the effect of seismic isolation. Mid-story isolation is more effective than base isolation to reduce the seismic responses of roof structure. Also, this isolation would be excellent in structural characteristics and construction.

면진기술은 주로 저층 구조물의 내진설계에서 적용되는 방법으로 건물과 기초사이에 면진장치를 설치하여 상부로 전달되는 지진하중을 효과적으로 감소시킨다. 그러나 이 방법은 중.고층 구조물에 그대로 적용하기에는 여러 가지 기술적 문제가 따르므로, 구보물의 중간층 일부를 분리시켜 상부로 전달되는 지진력을 감소시킬 수 있을 것이다. 본 노문에서는 저층 뿐만 아니라, 중.고층 정형구조물의 주상복합건물과 같은 비정형 구조물에 대하여 구조물의 중간층 일부를 비선형 면진장치로 면진시키고 그 효과를 분석하였다. 이러한 중간층 면진 구조물의 경우, 고정기초 구조물에 비하여 적은 층간변위나 층전단력이 발생하였으며, 특히 주상복합건물에서 상당한 효과를 볼 수 있었다.

In this study, the characteristics of bearing capacity and deformation of intermediate soils are investigated through centrifuge tests. The experimental parameters are footing width, initial stress condition of soils and relative loading rate defined relationship of loading rate and permeability of soils. It is examined that loading rate influences on the bearing capacities and deformations. Based on the test results, some problem of existing specification are introduced in the view of related loading rates and load intensities. Especially it is showed that load intensities magnitude rlre reversed in the same settlement ratio(s/B(%)), due to partial drained effect as well as loading rates in undrained con dition based on the excess pore pressure and deformations measured under loading.

사용후핵연료 건식 중간저장시설은 설계수명기간 동안 방사능 차폐, 냉각, 보호 등과 같은 주요 기능이 확실히 보장되도록 설계 및 유지·관리되어야 한다. 이러한 주요 기능은 여러가지 설계하중 하에서 구조물의 거동을 정확히 파악한 결과를 설계에 반영함으로써 보장된다. 본 연구에서는 구조물의 건전성을 보장할 수 있는 기능적 측면과 구조적 측면에서 고려되어야 할 항목 및 내용을 국외에서 적용되고 있는 기술기준을 토대로 하고 풍하중, 홍수방호, 내진설계, 열하중해석, 철근콘크리트 및 강구조물, 기초지반과 같은 세부항목에 대한 해석 및 설계의 연구결과를 추가하여 국내 원자력법령과 시행령에 부합되는 사용후핵연료 건식중간저장시설의 구조 및 설비기준을 개발하였다.

The objective of this research was to provide an objective and scientific basis for the effect of mid-advertising on viewers' rights by conducting an empirical study on how mid-program advertising affects viewer satisfaction and interest from the viewers' perspective. The experiment was conducted on 210 subjects to investigate the difference between viewers' interest in the program and purchase intention price. The results did not support the hypothesis that advertisements inserted in the middle of television programs would affect the dependent variables. The theoretical and practical implications of the mid-program advertisements on the interests of viewers were discussed.

To secure stability and availability of Rammed Aggregate Pier method as the foundation of a structure, the bearing capacity and failure behavior characteristics was studied through soil laboratory tests in a model ground. In this study, soil laboratory tests use carried out to find the applicability of RAP method as the foundation of a structure. And bearing capacity and the failure mechanism of RAP method was studied according to relative density($60\%,\;70\%,\;90\%$), diameter(45mm, 60mm, 70mm) of each pier ana depth(5cm, l0cm, 15cm, 20cm, 25cm, 30cm). Earth pressure cell is set up approach RAP and 1.0D space at RAP center. Bearing acpacity and the failure mechanism of RAP is investigated by load test As a result, bulging failure was happened in $5\~10cm\;(1.0D\~2.00)$ depth which the maximum lateral earth pressure is acting. Especially, diameter changing of RAP are in inverse proportion to the relative density and the lateral stress is very much influenced by the lateral earth pressure in every layer and tends to decrease according to depth.

The purpose of this study was to identify job competencies of a dental intermediary-manager and to develop a job competency model. First, job competencies were extracted from literature review. Next, a focus group interview was conducted with a total of 5 people to prepare a draft of job competency model for dental intermediary-manager. Finally, a Delphi survey was conducted with 32 panels. A job competency model for dental intermediary-manager consisted of 6 groups which were dental business management, medical support, human resources management, communication, customer management, leadership, self-control and attitude. Subsequently 25 sub-competencies and 95 behavioral indicators were developed. The job competency model will be able to provide basic data for the development training programs to improve the competency of dental intermediary-managers.

The primary focus of this study was on the development of a leadership scale to measure the leadership capacities of university library middle managers. The study included the following research activities. Firstly, broad and narrow scopes were determined and their corresponding questions were selected to develop a leadership scale of university middle managers by analyzing the previous related research findings. Secondly, the scopes and the questions were revised through the Delphi survey method, Thirdly, a survey was conducted to develop a simplified model of the leadership scale. The research outcomes led to three types of leadership scale of the university library middle manager. This study identified the leadership factors of middle managers in the university libraries. The resulting developed leadership scale should serve as the basic information for the existing middle managers' leadership capacity development.
