실 도로 주행 특성에 대한 연구 (A Study on Urban Driving Pattern)

  • The durability prediction of emission control components, especially 02 sensor and catalytic converter, is getting more important as emission regulation is getting stricter and vehicle durability mileage requirement is also extended from 80,000 ㎞ to 160,000 km in Korean market. And the duration of vehicle mileage accumulation to get vehicle exhaust emission deterioration factor for certification is required to be shorter in order to reduce the vehicle development time. Since most of the vehicle emission development tests are done on chassis dynamometer and aging bench by using vehicle aging modes, real road condition and in-use driving patterns must be reflected into them to predict the vehicle emission level and to meet emission regulation especially at high mileage. In order to get the frequent driving pattern of vehicle and the aging characteristic of emission components, a vehicle was tested by changing drivers and driving roads around Seoul. Real road driving patterns were analyzed and compared with those of the certification modes which are well known in automotive industry.

주행중 운전자세 측정을 통한 주행조건 영향 분석 (Effects of Driving Environment on Driver's Posture)

  • Automotive occupant packaging has been a part of main ergonomics interests, especially, in terms of driver's posture. Previous research on driver's posture has mainly focused on the initial optimal posture for driving sedans. However, customer preferences on cars are shifting from sedans to RV and automobile manufacturing companies seek to understand temporal changes in drivers' posture according to driving environment. So the main aim of this study was to develop a driver's posture measurement system during driving and investigate casual changes due to duration, car type, traffic flow. Four male drivers participated in the experiments during one week. It was shown that considerable changes in their postures were caused with respect to driving environment, which implies that not only static optimal postures but their dynamic changes should be taken into consideration for proper design and evaluation of interior packaging. The research is expected to help packaging designers understand human drivers so as to improve their comfort.

  • 본 논문은 새로운 제어기법의 고성능 전동차 추진용 IGBT VVVF 인버터에 관한 것이다. 현차 적용 전에 견인력 제어성의 우수함과 안정성을 검증하기 위해, 현차 조건에서 발생될 수 있는 경우에 대한 모의 주행시험을 실시하고 그 결과를 보인다. 모의 주행시험은 160톤의 차량을 등가화한 관성부하장치를 이용하여 정상상태는 물론 전압변동 등 각종 과도상태에 대해서도 실시하였다. 본 논문에서는 4병렬 접속된 견인전동기의 토오크 제어성 향상을 위한 벡터제어기법 적용과 공간벡터 변조기법에 동기방식을 적용하여 500Hz이하의 저주파 스위칭으로써 6스텝까지 연속 과변조 제어가 가능한 최적의 PWM방법을 제시한다.

주행상태에서의 가이드라인 계측 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Guide Line Measurement System in the Driving Condition)

  • The handling ability of containers at the terminal strongly depends on the performance of the cargo handling system such as RTGC(Rubber Tired Gantry Crane) and RMGC(Rail Mounted Gantry Crane). This paper introduces a guide line measurement system on the operating condition, in which two camera are installed to detect the guide line. Because the line tracking is the basic technique for control system design of RTGC, it is necessary to develop a useful and reliable measurement system. If the displacement and angle of the RTGC relative to a guide line as the trajectory to follow is obtained, the position of RTGC is automatically calculated. Therefore, in this paper, a camera-based measurement system is introduced. The proposed measurement system is robust against light fluctuation and cracks of the guide line. This system consists of two camera and a PC which are installed at the lower side of the RTGC. Two edges of the guide line are detected from an input image taken by the cameras in the moving state, and these positions are determined in a Hough parameter space by using the Hough transformation method. From the experimental results, the accuracy and usefulness of the proposed system is evaluated by comparing other instruments.

후방 램프 밝기 정보를 이용한 야간 차량 검출 (Night Time Vehicle Detection using Rear-Lamp Intensity)

  • 후방 램프를 이용하는 기존의 차량 검출 기법들은 주로 색상 정보를 활용한다. 그러나 조도가 낮은 야간 환경의 특성상 색상 정보를 온전히 활용할 수 없는 경우가 빈번하게 발생한다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 야간 환경에서 후방 램프의 밝기 값만을 이용해 차량을 검출한다. 일반적으로 후방 램프를 검출하기 위해 색상 정보와 밝기 값을 이용해 이진화를 하게 되는데, 본 논문에서는 밝기 값을 이용해 톤 매핑 과정을 수행하여 후방 램프의 모양을 보존한다. 밝기 값 만을 이용하기 때문에 오검출이 증가하게 되는데 이는 후방 램프에 대한 조건을 알고리즘에 적용함으로써 해결한다. 이에 더해 추적 알고리즘을 적용하여 남아있는 오검출을 제거한다. 이러한 과정은 모두 실시간으로 이루어지기 때문에 최근 활발히 연구되고 있는 자동 주행 시스템이나 주행 보조 시스템 등에 활용 될 수 있다.

내연기관 자동차의 주행모드 조건에 따른 연비 성능 비교 (Fuel Economy Comparison according to Driving Mode Conditions of the Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles)

  • The purpose of this paper is to determine the fuel change and weight change impact on the fuel economy and emission characteristic of ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) vehicle. According to fuel type, fuel consumption and emission characteristics were measured and fuel used in this paper was gasoline, diesel, and LPG. Four vehicles with different weight were tested and the fuel economy were compared and analyzed by using scatter graph. Test was carried out using chassis dynamometer, CVS (Constant Volume Sampler), and emission measurement system. Diesel vehicle less emited $CO_2$ compared to gasoline and LPG. Even if same $CO_2$ between gasoline and LPG, there are difference fuel economy depending on carbon proportion of specific fuel. The heavier weight of vehicle, the worse of fuel economy and Better fuel economy performance on highway driving mode.

  • Design of high efficiency Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) for Low Speed Electric Vehicle (LSEV) is presented in this paper. The design is made from point of view to save more used energy for operating LSEV. Focus on saving the energy gives more efficiency can be produced. Based on applying suitable driving cycles and investigates the frequently power used are foundation to design the proposed motor. Meanwhile through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) characteristic of the proposed motor such as inductance and torque profile can be obtained.

  • This paper studies the vibration characteristics of a vehicle seat on several driving conditions. Modal test for a vehicle seat is conducted for the three different boundary conditions: on the rigid jig, BIW and the full vehicle. In driving on various road conditions and speeds, vibration level is measured at several locations including seat mounting and seat-back. The vibration pattern for each driving condition is found where the suspension mode and the 1st bending and torsion modes of the seat make the major contribution on it.

  • A military vehicle undergoes normal to extreme driving conditions, which consequently induce the fatigue and fracture of cabin and frame. So, it is important to estimate the fatigue life of two components at an initial design stage. In this paper, Modal Superposition Method(MSM) was applied to evaluate the durability performance of a small-sized military truck. For reliable durability analysis, a Virtual Test Lab(VTL) Model was established by correlation with experimental results. These data were extracted from actual driving test, modal test, and SPMD(Suspension Parameter Measuring Device) test. This process shows that Virtual Fatigue Analysis can be a useful approach in the development of military vehicles as well as commercial vehicles.

  • 도시생활에서 가장 짜증스러운 것은 자동차 소음이다. 경제발전과 더불어 인구의 도시 집중과 급격한 차량증가는 교통량이 많은 간선도로변을 중심으로 도로교통 소음문제가 야기되고 있으며, 우리나라도 지난 '97. 7월 자동차 1000만대 보유국이 되었다. 도로교통 소음은 자동차에서 발생하는 소음과 차량의 통행량, 차량의 주행속도및 도로주변 조건등 각종 요인이 복합 된 것으로 저속운행이 일반적인 도시에서는 자동차에서 발생하는 소음 중 엔진에서 나는 소음이 대개 60% 이상을 점하게 된다. 이러한 문제점 등을 감안하고 쾌적한 생활 환경 조성을 위하여 환경부에서는 제작차 소음 허용기준을 정하여 제작차가 시판되기전 단계에서 제작차 소음 허용기준에 적합하게 제작되는지 여부를 관리하기 위하여 인증제도를 시행 중에 있으며, 인증 시험에 통과된 차량에 대해서만 제작 시판할 수 있도록 법제화하여 운영하고 있다. 인증에 필요한 시험은 자동차의 가속주행소음, 배기소음 및 경적소음 시험으로써 본 장에서는 제작차 인증시험과 평가방법 등을 소개하고, 아울러 도로교통 소음 진동에 대하여서도 기술하고자 한다.
