A weekend effect has been investigated in diurnal temperature range (DTR) for Seoul in Korea using 50-year (1955 ~ 2005) surface measurements of maximum and minimum temperatures, and particle mass concentrations (PM10). The minimum temperature increases by 0.42K per decade, 2 times faster than the maximum temperature during 1955 to 2005, for rapid urbanization has occurred in Seoul. The weekend effect, which is defined as the DTR for Sunday minus the average DTR for Tuseday through Thursday, can be as large as +0.08 K for the recent 20-year period relative to 0.01K for 1955 to 1975. Especially the wintertime DTR tends to have a remarkable positive weekend effect (+0.17K), that is, larger DTR on Sunday compared to weekdays, which seems to be associated with increased maximum temperature and thus an increase in DTR. This result could be explained by relative differences in PM10 concentration between Sunday and weekdays (Tuesday through Thursday), such that PM10 concentration on Sundays appears to be systematically lower about 12% than on weekdays. The annually average weekend DTR increases by 0.2K with $10{\mu}gm^{-3}$ decrease in PM10 concentration in comparison with weekdays. The results could be possible evidence of an anthropogenic link to DTR, one of climate important indicators, since no meteorological phenomenon is supposed to occur over a 7 day cycle.
The purpose of this study was to investigate meteorological factors' effects on clothing sales based on empirical data from a leading apparel company. The daily sales data were aggregated from "A" company's store records for the Fall/Winter season from 2012 to 2015. Daily weather data corresponding to sales volume data were collected from the Korea Meteorological Administration. The weekend effect and meteorological factors including temperature, wind, humidity, rainfall, fine dust, sea level pressure, and sunshine hours were selected as independent variables to calculate their effects on A company's apparel sales volume. The analysis used a SAS program including correlation analysis, t-test, and multiple-regression analysis. The study results were: First, the weekend effect was the most influential factor affecting sales volume, followed by fine dust and temperature. Second, there were significant differences in the independent variables'effects on sales volume according to the garments' classification. Third, temperature significantly affected outer garments'sales volume, while top garments' sales volume was not influenced significantly. Fourth, humidity, sea level pressure and sunshine affected sales volume partly according to the garments' item. This study can provide proof of significant relationships between meteorological factors and the sales volume of garments, which will serve well to establish better inventory strategies.
This study analyzes the characteristics of ozone weekend effect(OWE) in Busan. $O_3$ concentration on Sunday was over 10% higher than that on weekdays in all areas except for Kwangbokdong, Taejongdae, and Joadong. Such a difference was higher in the industrial area than in the residential area. $O_3$ generation was facilitated by the decrease in $NO_X$ emission on Sunday in VOC-limited regime where the VOC/$NO_X$ ratio is low. Low NO concentration in the Sunday morning decreased inhibition of $O_3$. NO-$O_3$ crossover time on Sunday was shorter than that on weekdays which in turn extended the accumulated duration of $O_3$. Future studies can include whether the entire Busan is VOCS-limited or the coastal area is VOCS-limited while the inland area is $NO_X$-limited.

This study was performed to measure the liquid intake and the liquid intake difference by obesity, exercise frequency, and salty food intake score in female high school students. A total of 235 students in Daejeon area were participated, and the liquid intake was recorded for 3-days(2 weekdays and 1 weekend) by self-recording. The T-test, F-test, Pearson's correlation, and Scheffe test were exercised. The results of this study are as follows. The amount of total liquid intake was 838.5 ㎖/d. Among the 13 kinds of beverages, water was the highest 611.6 ㎖/d, 72.9% of liquid intake total, followed by carbonated drink(65.7 ㎖/d), milk(41.6 ㎖/d), fruit drink(32.8 ㎖/d), and fruit·vegetable juice(25.4 ㎖/d). The other beverages' intake were very small, ≤13.0 ㎖/d. Carbonated drink, milk, and coffee's intake were higher during weekend than weekday. There were sig. difference in water and total liquid intake by the obesity, student of BMI≥23.0 was higher than students of BMI<23.0. And only carbonated drink was sig. different by exercise frequency and salty food intake score. Exercise frequency of ≥3 d/week and salty food intake score of ≥7(very dangerous) consumed more carbonated drink than the lower counterparts. Total liquid intake of female high school students was not reach to 900 ㎖/d, the Adequate Intake in Dietary Reference Intake for Koreans 2015. The amount of milk intake was 41.6 ㎖/d, far less than the Recommended Intake of 2 serving, 400 ㎖/d. Education and promotion program may necessary to increase the liquid intake amount and to choose the nutritious beverage.

The coastal area is the place where two conflicting values provide opportunities for recreation, tourism and conservation of the natural environment. Most of these coastal areas have been disregarded in terms of tourism because of the high value placed on natural resources. Management strategy has usually been first on the priority list of natural. resources. However, due to the significant number of visitors, the Important-Satisfaction Analysis(ISA) was applied as a mean of complement since the 1970s. This study analyzed the difference between visitor satisfaction and the importance of the main management strategy targeting visitors to Sun-cheon Bay Ecological Park on weekdays and weekends. Results show that Sun-cheon Bay Ecological Park and the city government have paid a lot of attention and invested a lot of money, but efficiency of publicity didn't come up to their afford. Therefore, we should prepare information facilities, public education facilities and human power. Also needed are visitors' temporal-spacial control to set specific programs and a guide for information education control. It means visitors' company forms change depends on weekday and weekend. In addition, a breeding space for birds should be built for observation, education and exhibition to help meet visitor expectations. Visitors' positive satisfaction might be provided in establishing strategy as a very important measure in limited area. In conclusion, this study might be provided as preliminary data when the management strategy and related guidelines are established through the management priority of coastal regions where importance and satisfaction conflict.
As the share of leisure culture increases these days, expectations are rising for the high quality of culture while increasing interest in leisure and tourism. The percentage of the population going on weekend trips to broaden the horizons of elementary, middle and high school students has continued to rise in proportion to the expectations for cultural enjoyment. We expect that visitors' weekend family activities will include relaxing, playing and educational purposes. Recent educational programs have moved from the past where only children were allowed to be onsite, to a shared style in which parents can engage in educational activities, potentially leading to the implicit involvement of family ties and family elasticity. The effects of education are not expressed by the period that ends in a single moment of experience, but by the continuity of training and experience. The same holds true for family affinity, communication and empathy. Providing opportunities for family experience and education is a national responsibility for broken family and restoring solidarity with the growing number of single-person households. Furthermore, it is a duty of museums and galleries today, and it is necessary to come up with methods to enhance family solidarity and family affinity. In particular, it is imperative to develop and provide educational programs for educational purposes at the Education Museum, and to develop " education for family " at the social level. This paper aims to analyze the results of all family participating education programs provided by family education programs at the Education Museum through family surveys and interviews, and to enhance the activation of family types education programs more actively.

And these factors explained 43.3% of the variance in smartphone addiction. In conclusion, the results from this study indicated a need to develop the intervention program to prevent smartphone addiction considering these factors affecting smartphone addiction.
This study aims to analyze the spatial context by analyzing the flow characteristics of the walking tour course and visualizing effectively using the floating population data constructed through the communication data. The floating population data refinement algorithm was developed for estimation flow population along the road and the floating population data for each walking tour courses was constructed. In order to adopt the algorithm for forming suitable for the analysis of the walking tour courses, the estimation of floating population considering the area of the road and the estimation of floating population considering the value of floating population around the road were compared. As a result, the estimation of floating population considering ambient the values of flow population was adopted, which is more appropriate to apply analysis method due to the relatively consistent data. Then, a datamining algorithm for walking tour course was constructed according to the characteristics of the floating population data, the absence of missing values. Finally, this study analyzed the flow characteristics and spatial patterns of 18 walking trails in Seoul through the floating population data according to walking tour course. To do this, the kernel density analysis and the Getis-Ord $G^*_i$ statistical hotspot analysis were applied to visualize the main characteristics of each walking tour course.
