Subjective mental workload assessment technique becomes a standard human factors and human-machine interface evaluation tool for the evaluation of ITS(Intelligent Transport Systems)-oriented information systems as well as the drivers visual activity analysis, physiological indices(GSR, EEG, ECG, etc.), secondary task performance, reaction time. vehicle control parameters(speed, steering behavior, accelerator control) that are widely applied for transportation and vehicle systems to evaluate the safety, to decide the system or design alternatives, and to establish the design guidelines. This paper reviewed and compared the most globally employed four mental workload assessment techniques that have been designed for the use of various human-machine systems and ITS-oriented in-vehicle information systems. NASA-TLX(National Aeronautics and Space Administration-Task Load Index). SWAT(Subjective Workload Assessment Technique), MCH(Modified Cooper-Harper) scale, and recently developed RNASA-TLX(Revision of NASA-TH) were compared in terms of sensitivity and subjective evaluations to derive the human-machine interface evaluation guidelines for the application of ITS-oriented in-vehicle information systems. Then, experiment results supported that RNASA-TLX is the prospective tool for the mental workload assessment of ITS-oriented in-vehicle information systems.

The purpose of this study is to present a theoretical framework and practical methodology to extend the scope of Library and Information Science by incorporating the usability evaluation of e-book, which has considerably increased in proportion in the digital library. By sirveying e-book users and through statistical analysis. it was found that rebuilding a set of usabllity evaluation factors for e-books is necessary to activate e-books in the digital libraries. This study inclusively presents a conceptual model of e-book usability evaluation and suggests guidelines for usability principles.

이 연구의 목적은 S/S 티셔츠 소재의 기본태 및 역학적 특성이 소재에 대한 주관적 감성에 미치는 영향을 밝혀 티셔츠 소재의 감성 이미지를 확립하고 소비자 감성에 적합한 S/S용 티셔츠 소재를 개발하기 위함이다. 이 연구를 위해 2003 봄, 여름에 시판된 5개의 티셔츠 소재가 사용되었고, 티셔츠 소재에 대한 감성 이미지를 도출하기 위해 티셔츠 소재와 관련된 20개의 감성형용어로 설문지를 작성하였다. 설문조사는 총 75명의 성인 남녀를 대상으로 실시하였으며 평가자는 각 문항에 대해서 7점 리커트형 척도를 사용하여 평가하였다. 5개의 시료 각각에 대한 19개의 역학적 특성치를 측정하여 태의 값을 산출하였으며, 각 특성치들과 주관적 감성 이미지와의 관계는 SPSS_Win 10.1을 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. S/S 티셔츠 소재의 감성이미지는 ‘유연감’, ‘청결감’, ‘매력성’, ‘건조감’, ‘강성’으로 분류되었으며, 소재의 감성 이미지가 소재의 기본 태에 의해 영향을 받는 정도는 다르게 나타났다. 감성이미지에 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 기본태는 Shari였다. 또한 편성구조 및 섬유조성과 같은 티셔츠 소재의 기본적 특성이 소재에 대한 주관적 감성이미지에 미치는 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났다.

Video services over Internet is getting important. Since the service quality of the video service provided by streaming over Internet may be degraded, the quality assessment and management are very important. Currently the objective method based on the measured values of parameters is being widely used for video services. The subjective assessment, however, is more ideal in that the quality that is experienced by human. This paper, therefore, proposes a subjective quality management scheme for video service in a mobile environment that overcomes the limitations of the subjective method. The proposed scheme is expected to contribute to implement a more efficient quality management system for video services in a mobile environment.

Currently, The terrestrial MMS(Multi Mode Service) is considering to be adapted in the Korea. The objective and subjective video quality test was carried out to verify the current TV channel's video quality degradation by the MMS. In the objective assessment, MMS system showed better PSNR than current system. In the subjective assesment result, It's hard to find the perceive video quality degradation at overall assesment. Even though, The MMS's video quality will be improved at the documentary and entertainment genre. Comparing with the previous research at 2006 and 2008, It's the time to give the benefit of broadcasting technology to the people.

팩시밀리 서비스품질 항목에 대하여 살펴보고, 그 중 하나인 화상품질의 사용자평가에 대한 분석방법에 관하여 논하고자 한다. 화상품질의 평가에는 사용자의 주관이 작용하는데 이것을 어떻게 객관적인 항목으로 바꾸는가 하는 것이 주요연구주제이다. 여기서는 사용자의 화상품질에 대한 평가로 통신망에 대해 평가하는 방법을 제안하였다.

Based on the characteristics of the weapon system, a government-funded research institute or a defense industry company is selected as the R&D supervision institution. On the other hand, research for the selection of a R&D supervision institution has not been conducted actively. This paper proposes a methodology for selecting R&D supervision institutions, such as procedure and indices. First, candidates of the index were obtained using data investigation and consulting, and five indices were deduced using Delphi. The weight of the indices was set using AHP. The high element consisted of 'Technical elements' and 'Business element'. The low element of 'Technical elements' consisted of 'Possession and readiness of critical technology' and 'Experience of similar R&D'. The low element of 'Business element' consisted of 'Base circumstance of the project', 'Risk management', and 'Will for the project'. The total weights of the indices were 'Possession and readiness of critical technology' 0.405, 'Experience of similar R&D' 0.297, 'Base circumstance of the project' 0.124, 'Risk management' 0.127, and 'Will for the project' 0.047. The indices were applied to the 00 weapon system and the result was deduced.

Despite of many supportive research to the usefulness of slide evaluation on environment of outdoor lighting, study method of using slides have provoked many discussions of its manifestation of reality of field conditions. This study aims to compare the results of slide survey with that of field survey. Distant view and short range view of nightscape of Seoul were selected. Field measurement of luminance and chromaticity were conducted and questionnaire survey were conducted. Frequency analysis, T-test, factor analysis were conducted. Results shows that distant view and short range view of field survey have better visual atmosphere than slide survey. In addition, slide survey on distant view shows lowest values. Difference between field survey and slide survey on distant view is much bigger than the results of short range view.

본 연구에서는 사상관련전위인 수반음성변동(CNV)을 이용하여 쾌/불쾌 향의 영향을 평가하고자 하였다. 즉, 건강한 20대 성인을 대상으로 쾌한 향(레몬)과 불쾌한 향(E3) 자극에 따른 CNV의 전기성분 및 후기성분의 변화를 대뇌부위별, 가산횟수별로 비교 분석하였고, 쾌/불쾌 향의 자극 반복에 따른 주관적 평가도 부가하여 검토하였다. 그 결과, 쾌/불쾌 향은 CNV 후기성분의 중심엽 부위에서 10∼15회 가산평균의 경우 정량적으로 구별될 수 있는 가능성을 보였고, 주관적인 평가에서는 반복 자극횟수가 증가함에 따라 쾌/불쾌감이 저하하는 것을 알 수 있었다.

영상기술의 발전으로 영상의 품질측정에 관한 연구가 많이 진행되어왔다. 이를 통해 새로운 영상처리, 영상통신등에 사람의 시각적 인지 특성을 고려한 품질측정이 가능해졌다. 무기준법 영상측정방법은 전달된 영상의 정보만을 이용해 품질을 측정하기 때문에, 방송이나 실시간 전송에 주로 이용되어왔다. 이 논문에서 우리는 세가지 비트스트림 정보를 이용한 새로운 무기준법 영상 품질평가 방법을 제안한다. 화면갱신비율, 움직임지수, 양자화계수의 관계를 정립하고, 회기분석을 통해 각각 요소의 가중치를 계산하여냈다. 제안하는 기법을 평가하기 위해, ITU-T P.910에 따라 250개의 영상에 대한 주관적인 영상품질을 측정하였다. 실험결과, 제안하는 화질평가 기법이 기존의 다른 방법들에 비해 주관적인 화질평가와 상관관계가 높게 나타났다.
