C-banded karyotypes of eight taxa of Korean Allium sect. Sacculiferum were examined by means of Giemsa techniques. Each of the taxa had their own characteristic bands. Most of the bands on the somatic metaphase chromosomes were mainly located on the short arm, intercalary region and medium sized chromosomes. In addition, the heterochromatic bands were usually facultative, recognized as two spots, and all investigated taxa had a pair of satellites of heterochromatin. The similarities of total length and number of bands revealed that three varieties of A. thunbergii G. Don have a closer cytological relationship than the others. The C-banding patterns of A. longistylum and A. linearifolium were examined for the first time in this study, and the former was clearly distinguished from the others by the distribution and number of its bands. The proportion of heterochromatic bands suggested that A. thunbergii var. thunbergii is the most primitive, and A. sacculiferum the most advonced, within the section.
Methylene diisocyanate (MDI) was investigated as a novel interfacial modifier to enhance the performances of poly(methyl methacrylate)-modified starch/styrene-butadiene rubber (PMMA-modified starch/SBR) composites. Owing to the formation urethane linkage on one side and ${\pi}-{\pi}$ adhesion on the other side, MDI acted as an intermediated linkage role in the PMMA-modified starch/SBR interfaces, which was evidenced by the morphological, mechanical, dynamic mechanical and thermal decomposition studies. As a result, the presence of MDI significantly improved the mechanical properties and thermal stability of PMMA-modified starch/SBR composites. In addition, the effect of starch concentration on the various performances of the resulted MDI/PMMA-modified starch/SBR composites, such as morphology, vulcanization characteristics, mechanical properties, toluene swelling behavior, and thermal stability were investigated and discussed in detail. The obtained MDI/PMMA-modified starch/SBR composites exhibited superior mechanical properties to carbon black/SBR (CB/SBR) composites, demonstrating the potential use of the renewable starch as a substitute for CB in the rubber compounds.

We propose 2-channel filter bank method instead of FFT method to decrease sub-channel interference for using of efficient frequency resource in MC-CDMA method. Since a prototype filter of filter bank having wavelet characteristic is designed having more less side-lobe, the nearest co-channel interference and inter symbol interference are decreased efficiently. Since the spreading signal of suggesting MC-CDMA system is being demanded for less chip rate and is not being considering for autocorrelation characteristic, the Walsh code can be used as a optimal orthogonal signal set. We consider bit error rate and signal to noise ratio to estimate the performance of suggested system on condition that white noise channel and arbitrary sinusoidal jammer are existing. As a result of comparing to traditional FFT-based MC-CDMA simulation result, our suggested system has shown better performance than traditional MC-CDMA method on the side of minimizing interference effect.
Recent deep learning-based face super-resolution (FSR) works showed significant performances by utilizing facial prior knowledge such as facial landmark and dictionary that reflects structural or semantic characteristics of the human face. However, most of these methods require additional processing time and memory. To solve this issue, this paper propose an efficient FSR models using knowledge distillation techniques. The intermediate features of teacher network which contains dictionary information based on major face regions are transferred to the student through adversarial multi-scale features distillation. Experimental results show that the proposed model is superior to other SR methods, and its effectiveness compare to teacher model.
In order to register an application with Apple's App Store, it must pass a rigorous verification process through the Apple verification center. That's why spyware applications are difficult to get into the App Store. However, malicious code can also be executed through normal application vulnerabilities. To prevent such attacks, research is needed to detect and analyze early to patch potential vulnerabilities in applications. To prove a potential vulnerability, it is necessary to identify the root cause of the vulnerability and analyze the exploitability. A tool for analyzing iOS applications is the debugger named LLDB, which is built into Xcode, the development tool. There are various functions in the LLDB, and these functions are also available as APIs and are also available in Python. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a method to efficiently analyze potential vulnerabilities of iOS application by using LLDB API.

Recently, as the importance of structural maintenance has been increased, studies on self - healing concrete technology are being actively carried out. On the other hand, test for evaluating the self-healing performance is not standardized yet. Although visual test is used as a basic method for measuring crack widths, it is difficult to observe the crack width inside the specimen, and there is a disadvantage that only the local measurement of the surface can be measured due to the inhomogeneous cracking characteristics. Although permeability test has been widely used as an indirect method for measuring crack width, there is a problem due to the viscosity of water, and also a possibility that the internal material of the specimen may be eluted during the test. In this study, we propose a crack width evaluation method using gas diffusion characteristics. Idealized straight cracks were fabricated by acrylic and the diffusion coefficients of specimens were analyzed with respect to crack width and thickness. The experimental results show that the crack width and the diffusion coefficient are in a linear relationship and that the thickness and diffusion coefficient are inversely related.

One of the issues of the automotive industry today is autonomous driving vehicles. In order to achieve level 3 or higher as defined by SAE International, harmonization of autonomous driving technology and connected technology is essential. Current vehicles have new features such as autonomous driving, which not only increases the number of electrical components, but also the amount and complexity of software. As a result, the attack surface, which is the access point of attack, is widening, and software security vulnerabilities are also increasing. However, the reality is that the essential security requirements for vehicles are not defined. In this paper, based on real attacks and vulnerability cases and trends, we identify the assets in the in-vehicle network and derive the threats. We also defined the security requirements and derived essential security requirements that should be applied at least to the safety of the vehicle occupant through risk analysis.

Fingerprinting technique exists at the position assumption system for the service of indoor location-based. However, there is a problem it takes a long time to build fingerprinting map. We need to verify that received signal of WAP(wireless access point) is similar at all times in a similar space in order to solve these problems. This paper proposes a plan that is able to build fingerprinting map by using the received signal data of WAP. To do this, change the positon of WAP in the same space, It is confirmed the process of change of the RSSI corresponding to the distance. We also confirmed that the RSSI collected from elsewhere in the space a similar change in the same manner.

The display that provides information to us through the visual sense is a very important information transmission means by intuitively transmitting information, and the liquid crystal display (LCD) is the most widely used information transmission display. In this paper, we studied solvent assisted micromolding as an alternative for the rubbing that is essential to align the liquid crystals in LCD and successfully aligned the liquid crystal molecules by constructing the nanostructures on conventional polyimide alignment layer. When generating the nanostructures on the polyimide film, there was a competitive correlation between the dissolution effect of the polymer by the solvent and the capillary effect of the polyimide molecules into the nanostructures of the mold depending on the process temperature. It was possible to form nanostructures with high step by deriving the optimum temperature. These nanostructures were able to align the liquid crystal molecules uniformly and demonstrated that they could form a desirable pretilt angle.

In this study, we compared the differences between groups in a model that investigates the effect of smartphone users on the intent to use continuously. There are various methodologies for group difference analysis, but in this study, we try to verify the size comparison of regression analysis $R^2$. In order to analyze the difference between groups, we try to prove through hypothesis test whether there is a meaningful difference in the intention of continuous use of Korean and Chinese smartphone users collected through previous research. The results of the analysis are useful as a method to determine whether smartphone users in China and Korea are aware of differences or not. According to this procedure, first, the formula for calculating Z-transformation of Fisher and Z-score test statistic calculation formula were used. However, this methodology is also used in the verification of control effect using correlation coefficient. Also, the theoretical implications are presented based on the analysis results.
