The Relationship of Market Orientation, Organizational Learning and Innovativeness with New Product Development and Overall Performance (시장지향성, 조직학습, 혁신성이 신제품 개발과 기업의 전반적 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the antecedents of organizational innovativeness, which in turn influence firm performance that is composed of new product development performance and overall firm performance. We collected responses from C-level executives, and conducted a structural equation model analysis. Results revealed that organizational memory and market orientation influence organizational innovativeness, which in turn influence new product development performance and overall firm performance. However, interestingly, new product development performance was not found to affect overall firm performance. Based on these results, we have confirmed the importance of market orientation and organizational memory for organizational innovativeness. Practical implications related to the results are provided.

A Study on the Influence of Factors of Corporate Culture for the Organizational Effectiveness in Merger Enterprise (합병기업의 기업문화 구성요소가 조직유효성에 미치는 영향)

  • Integrating corporate culture in a merger enterprise is considered as one of the most important variables to decide M&A success. This study established a conceptional model according to the preceding study on integrating corporate culture and organizational effectiveness, and formulated a hypothesis on the interrelation between a seven factors of corporate culture proposed by Pascale & Athos and Peters & Waterman and organizational effectiveness. The result of applying multi-regression analysis to test the hypothesis is as follows; firstly, all of a merger enterprise's cultural factors have meaningful influence on job involvement among organizational effectiveness; secondly, all of them have sincere influence on job satisfaction among organizational effectiveness except shared value; and thirdly, all of them except skill have significant influence on organizational harmony among organizational effectiveness. This is a significant empirical and exploratory study to ascertain the variables of corporate culture factors, and to verify their effects on organizational effectiveness.

The Impact of Transactional Leadership to Organizational Commitment: The Mediating Effect of Followership (거래적 리더십이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향: 팔로워십의 매개효과)

  • Transactional leadership(TL) is to provide constructive feedback to organizational employee's commitment and to engender a positive impact on individuals and organizations. In this respect, this study is to investigate police's TL could positively influence organizational commitment, and is there a mediated effect in this impact empirically. This study based on the analysis on a random sample of police who has worked in Seongnam, Kwangjoo, and Hanam cities. The findings are the follows. (1) Police's TL has a positive effect on followership. (2) Police's TL has a positive effect on employees' commitment highly. (3) Police's followership has a positive effect on employees' commitment highly. (4) Followership has a partial mediated effect to relationship between Police's TL and employees' commitment. In these results, transactional leadership and followership are to verify a critical factor to improve police's organizational commitment.

A Study on the Influence of Paternalistic Leadership on Organizational Commitment -The Mediating Effect of Organizational Identification- (가장적 리더십이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 - 조직 동일시의 매개효과를 중심으로 -)

  • This paper aims to regard paternalistic leadership as research object, introduces organizational identification as intermediary variable to find out the impact on organizational commitment, using a sample of 406 employees from enterprises. Results showed that first, authoritarianism had no impact on organizational commitment, while benevolence and morality related positively to organizational commitment. Second, paternalistic leadership had positive effect on organizational identification. Third, organizational identification mediated the relationship between morality and organizational commitment, but did not mediate the relationship between benevolence and organizational commitment. Limitations of the study, and implications of the findings are discussed.

사람중심 조직문화 특성이 중소기업 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 사람중심 조직문화 특성이 중소기업의 비지니스 생태계와 회사탁월성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지, 비지니스 생태계와 회사탁월성은 기업성과에 어떤 영향을 주는지를 연구하는데 목적이 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 기업의 사람중심 조직문화 특성을 공감, 역량개발, 권한위임, 업무몰입도로 구분하고 각각의 독립변수들이 매개 변수인 비즈니스 생태계와 화사탁월성에 미치는 영향과 비니니스 생태계와 회사탁월성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 인과관계 분석이 주된 연구대상이다. 연구의 결과를 자세히 제시하면 다음과 같다. 사람중심 조직문화 특성과 비즈니스 생태계 간의 인과관계에 대한 실증 연구결과를 요약하면 공감, 역량개발, 권한위임, 업무몰입도는 비즈니스 생태계에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사람중심 조직문화 특성과 회사탁월성 간의 인과관계에 대한 실증 연구결과를 요약하면 업무몰입도는 회사탁월성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 공감, 역량개발, 권한위임은 통계적으로 회사탁월성에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 기업역량인 비즈니스 생태계와 회사탁월성과 경영성과 간의 인과관계에 대한 실증 연구결과를 요약하면, 비즈니스 생태계는 경영성과에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으며, 회사탁월성는 경영성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과와 함께 본 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 두 가지 시사점을 제시할 수 있다. 첫째, 기존연구와 사람중심 조직문화 특성을 활용하여 중소기업을 대상으로 실증연구 했다는 점에서 본 연구의 학문적 기여점을 찾을 수 있다. 중소기업은 대기업이나 공공기관에 비해 사람중심 경영에 대한 인식이 낮을 것으로 추측되었으나 분석결과 사람중심 조직문화 특성이 기업역량과 기업성과에 중요한 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다는데 큰 의미가 있다고 하겠다. 둘째, 기업은 기존의 사업중심의 전통적 기업가정신과 사람중심경영이 잘 융합되어 중소기업 핵심역량에 영향을 주고 이는 다시 기업성과로 이어지는 결과를 낳는 선순환 모형이 된다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

  • Purpose of this research is that examine closely relation about if communication between common people expense formation constituent affects some formation result, that understand common people guard's formation and raise efficiency of business through these is to supply the pabulum naturally in common people expense formation's development. Conclusion of construed data is as following in reply. First, communication by society statistics of demography special quality is difference. Second, formation result by society statistics of demography special quality is difference. Third, communication influences in job satisfaction. That is, communication is affecting more job satisfaction than formation outside communication in formation. Fourth, communication influences in formation immersion. That is, formation outside communication is affecting more sentimentalize immersion than communication in formation.

A study on women's welfare organization's network -Focusing on network centrality and organizational effectiveness- (여성복지조직의 네트워크에 관한 연구 -네트워크 중심성(centrality)과 조직효과성을 중심으로-)

  • The aim of this study is to examine the factors influencing network centrality on women's welfare organizations, and to investigate how the level of network centrality influence the effectiveness of the organization. To achieve this goal, this study conducted a survey on women's welfare organizations in Seoul from March to June, 2009. Network analysis method was used to get each organization's network centrality value. Also, through the Structural Equation Modelling, organizational characteristics predicting network centrality and effect of network centrality on organizational effectiveness. The main results are as follows. First, the significant affecting factors were different between three types of centralities with regards to the type of organization, recognition of resource dependency, attitude of top manager, and established year. Second, the common factors affecting three network centralities were the number of informal ties, accepting feminism as the main organizational philosophy, and the number of qualified staffs. Third, only closeness centrality positively predicted the level of organizational effectiveness among three types of centralities. The faster the organization reaches to other organizations in a network, the organizational effectiveness becomes higher, which means high closeness centrality is more important factor than high degree centrality or high betweenness centrality to increase organizational effectiveness. This result shows social welfare organization should consider changing inter-organizational network strategy from quantity-focused to quality-focused.

  • 본 연구는 국내 금융(보험)영업조직을 대상으로 영업조직의 통제유형에 따라 조직구성원들의 조직몰입과 지식공유 및 활용, 경영성과에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 살펴보고자 하는 실증연구이다. 본 연구에서는 통제를 산출통제(Output Control), 과정통제(Process Control), 사회통제(Social Control)로 구분하여 통제유형에 따라 금융영업조직 내 구성원들의 조직몰입과 조직 내 지식공유 및 활용, 경영성과에 어떠한 유의한 영향을 미치는지 실증분석을 통하여 알아보고자 한다.

Relationship among Work-family Conflict, Anger Regulation, and Organizational Commitment (직장인의 직장-가정갈등과 분노조절 및 조직몰입의 관계)

  • The present study was to examine the relationship among work-family conflict, anger regulation, and organizational commitment. Four-hundred and eighty-seven workers completed the instruments assessing work-family conflict, anger regulation, and organizational commitment. The results showed that work-family conflict was negatively related to organizational commitment, but not significantly linked to anger regulation, and anger regulation was positively related to organizational commitment. It might be possible to address clearly the relationship among work-family conflict, anger regulation, and organizational commitment, especially the mediation effect of anger regulation, using a large sample.

  • This study investigated the impacts of perceived organizational support and psychological empowerment on organizational citizenship behavior. To accomplish this purpose, the authors conducted a survey of employees in manufacturing companies in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region. A total of 272 questionnaires were used for the study. Hypotheses were tested through multiple regression analysis. As a result, perceived organizational support and psychological empowerment both positively affected organizational citizenship behavior. Perceived organizational support and psychological empowerment have less been studied as exploratory variables of organizational citizenship behavior. Therefore, the results of this study have many theoretical and practical implications.
