Trust on Superiors and Organizational Effectiveness (공공조직에서 상사신뢰와 조직유효성에 미치는 영향)

  • The high commitment of a revenue officer makes to raise efficiency, can be directly related to task result and validity. The fundamental process through trust in superior, consisting the core of tax execution, needs to be studied significantly. This study is proposed to verify the practical influence of trust in superior with respect to productivity, participation in decision-making, and concentration. These factors are important prerequisites with respect to task processing of a tax revenue officer. As the result of analysis, the more trust in superior effects on the statue of productivity, participation in decision-making and concentration. It is the proof that the trust in superior procedure contributes in the aspects of productivity, participation in decision-making and concentration through the process of encouraging organizational validity.

A study on the relationship between organizational silence, organizational cynicism, and organizational commitment: Focusing on church organizations (조직 침묵, 조직 냉소주의, 조직 몰입 간 관계 연구: 교회조직을 중심으로)

  • Recently, church organizations are experiencing various problems, including a sharp decline in the number of members. This study focused on the problem of lack of communication, that is, organizational silence, which is commonly pointed out in previous studies as a problem of church organizations, and empirically analyzed the relationship between organizational silence, organizational cynicism, and organizational commitment within church organizations. For this purpose, a questionnaire was distributed to 210 members of churches and related organizations from May to June 2023, of which 202 copies were used as analysis data. SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 were used to perform frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, structural equation model analysis, and bootstrapping to verify mediation effects. As a result of the study, organizational silence had a negative effect on organizational cynicism, and organizational cynicism had a negative effect on organizational commitment. Although organizational silence did not have a direct negative effect on organizational commitment, it was found to have a negative effect mediated by organizational cynicism. This study expanded the scope of the study by applying variables from organizational theory to church organizations, and presented practical implications through the research results to church organizations.

Mediating Effect of Organizational Trust on the Relationship between Servant Leadership and Organizational Commitment (서번트 리더십과 조직몰입 간의 조직에 대한 신뢰 매개효과)

  • The study examined the relationship between servant leadership and organizational commitment and tested the mediating role of the organizational trust between the two variables. Measurement of servant leadership used intactly 23 items of a preceding research. Empirical analysis result can be summarized as follows. Firstly. the servant leadership has positive influence on organizational trust. Secondly. servant leadership has significant influence on affective commitment and normative commitment, but could not reach the significance level for continuance commitment. Lastly, this study was proved there was an partial mediating effect of organizational trust, between the servant leadership and affective commitment, normative commitment, but could not reach the significance level for continuance commitment. And if the organizational trust is higher, the extent of the servant leadership's influence on organizational commitment would be higher.

  • The purposes of this paper are to examine the effect of emotional intelligence and logic intelligence on organizational citizenship behavior and to examine the moderating effect of intelligence labor on these relationship. For these purposes, literature review and survey research were conducted. The 420 questionnaires were sent to the 12 manufactural firms in the Busan and Kyungsang Nam-Do region for empirical analysis. Total 363 usable responses were collected(effective response rate : 86.40%). The major findings of the empirical research are as follows ; First, emotional intelligence and logic intelligence have positive influence organizational citizenship behavior. but emotional intelligence have more positive influence than logic intelligence on organizational citizenship behavior. Second, emotional intelligence has differential influence on organizational citizenship behavior by emotional labor, but logic intelligence hasn't that. In conclusion, emotional intelligence is expected to improve organizational citizenship behavior which is extra-role behavior in an organization. Therefore, managers have to develop organizational citizenship behavior by exhibiting emotional intelligence, considering emotional labor.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the longitudinal causal relationship between organizational commitment and job satisfaction, focusing on security related workers. For this purpose, the Korean Labor and Income panel data were classified into security employees. Data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 20.0, and validity and reliability analysis were conducted before hypothesis testing. The results of the analysis show that organizational commitment at time t-1 has a positive effect on organizational commitment at time t, and that job satisfaction at time t-1 has a positive effect on job satisfaction at time t Respectively. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The organizational commitment has a significant effect on the job satisfaction. 2) The effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment was also significant 3) The cross-lagged coefficients show that organizational commitment precedes job satisfaction and serves as a predictor

  • The purpose of this study is to give some suggestions by examining what kind of effects the cynicism about the organizational change of the administrative staff in private colleges have on their job involvement and organizational commitment and by analyzing the difference between the colleges having experienced labor-management disputes and those without such experiences. The results of this study obtained by actual analyses and the suggestions provided based on the results are as follows. In the colleges having experienced disputes on campus, the cynicism about the organizational change reduces the job involvement and the organizational commitment of the members of the organizations. On the other hand, there are no significant effects of the cynicism about the organizational change on the job involvement and the organizational commitment of the members in the case of the colleges not having experienced disputes on campus.

  • Organizational Service Orientation is an essential factor to survive competition. So, a number of studies have investigated the impact of service orientation on Job Performance, and many evidence testify with certainty variable. Accordingly, this study investigated the impacts of Service Orientation on Turnover Intention and Organizational Commitment. In addition, this study examined the mediating effects of Emotional Labor. The results of this study are as followings ; First, Service Orientation are negatively related to Turn over Intention. Second, Service Orientation are positively related to Organizational Commitment. Third, Emotional Labor have partially moderated effect on the relationship between Service Orientation and Turnover Intention, Organizational Commitment. These findings provide the theoretical and practical implications.

Effects of Authentic Leadership on Subordinates' Job Performance and Turnover Intention: Subordinates' Organizational Identification as a Mediating Role (진정성 리더십이 직무성과와 이직의도에 미치는 영향: 조직동일시의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between authentic leadership, organizational identification, job performance, and turnover intention. Specifically, the study investigated whether subordinates' organizational identification mediates the relationship between authentic leadership and subordinates' job performance and turnover intention. The study tested the mediated model using data from 299 employees working in a variety of organizations. The result revealed that authentic leadership was positively related to organizational identification and job performance but was negatively related to turnover intention. Further, organizational identification partially mediated the effects of authentic leadership on job performance and turnover intention. Theoretical and practical implications and limitations of the study were discussed.

Managing workplace diversity and employees' turnover intention: The mediating role of perceived organizational support (조직 내 다양성 관리와 종업원의 이직의도: 지각된 조직후원인식의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The main purpose of the study was to examine the structural relationships among workplace diversity management, employees' turnover intention, and perceived organizational support in the Korean business context. The mediating effect of perceived organizational support on the relationship between workplace diversity management and turnover intention was also explored. The major findings are as follows: First, no direct relationship was found between workplace diversity management and employees' turnover intention. However, workplace diversity management positively impacted perceived organizational support. Third, perceived organizational support was found to be negatively related with employees' turnover intention. Finally, the results showed that perceived organizational support played a mediating role in the relationship between workplace diversity management and turnover intention.

Antecedents of Organizational Citizenship Behavior: The Mediating Role of Leader-member Exchange (조직시민행동의 선행요인에 관한 연구: LMX의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The main purpose of this study was to find antecedents of organizational citizenship behavior(OCB) and to investigate the mediating role of leader-member exchange(LMX). This study categorized the factors that influence OCB and LMX into individual(distributive and procedural justice), group(transformational leadership and team empowerment), and organizational levels(complexity). A total of 773 cases were used in this study, which were collected in one of industrial complexes. The research participants were any employees who participated in their work by collaborating with their co-workers. This study found that procedural justice, transformational leadership, and team empowerment had positive influences on OCB, and distributive justice, procedural justice, transformational leadership, team empowerment, and complexity significantly influenced LMX. Moreover, LMX played a mediating role in the relationship between each of the five input variables and OCB.
