A Study on the Network Organization Design (네트워크 조직설계에 대한 연구)

  • As business environments rapidly changing and becoming more competitive, manager begin to realize the needs of the network organization structure reflecting the newly emerging internet environments. This paper, therefore, attempt to provide managers with a framework that can be used to design an effective network structure. The framework described here shows three important characteristics of network organizations: First, staffs need to be knowledge workers, rather than rule follower. Second, managers need to emphasize the empowerment, rather than exercising hierarchical power and control. In order for managers to support the design of network organizations they need to implement information systems that can integrate staffs, tasks, and information technologies.

  • There are many researches on the organization formation and business strategy of architecture firms to improve of organizational capability. However the previous researches have been only focused on the improvement of organizational capability and efficiency in management parts of view. There have been lack of the researches on evaluation of organizational capability. Especially, there are no researches on the evaluation of organizational capability reflecting the characteristics of architecture firms which is mainly operated by human resources. Therefore, the objective of this research is to develope a index frame for evaluating organizational capability of architecture firms in Korea. The proposed indexes can be used in evaluation of organizational capability and analysis on correlation between organizational capability and performance of organization in architecture firms.

  • 최근 의류용 감성소재가 다양해지면서 소재의 특성에 따른 최적 설계가 data-base에서 빨리 공급 될 수 있다면 시행착오에 따른 시간과 경비가 적게 소비되면서 소비자의 요구에 빨리 대응할 수 있는 소위 Q.R.도 가능하게 될 것이다. 이러한 감성 의류용 직물의 data base화를 위해서는 rapier, water-jet, air-jet 등 직기에 따른 소재의 설계분포 그리고 직기의 종류에 따라서 직물 설계 data의 분포가 어떠한지를 우선 조사하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 국내 3개 업체의 실제 현장에서 생산되고 있는 PET 소재의 감성의류용 직물소재의 설계 Data를 직기별로 구분하고 직물 설계 조건들을 조사ㆍ분석하여 경사, 위사 번수별 조직계수를 계산하여 이들 data를 data-base화하고 도시하였다. 또한 이들 분석된 그래프에서 직기 종류별, 직물 조직별, 소재 item별 조직계수와 직물밀도를 예측할 수 있는 방법을 제시함과 더불어 조직에 따른 이들 직물의 설계조건을 제안함으로서 실제 현장에서 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 연구자료를 업체에 제공하고자 한다.

K Public Corporation's IT Organization Redesign Case (K공사의 IT 조직 재설계 사례)

  • IT organizations have been consistently required to change in order to cope with business and technological changes. However, the practical methodologies or guidelines about IT organization redesign are deficient. This research investigates IT organization's redesign methods and procedures focused on K public corporation which fundamentally redesigned IT organization recently. In K public corporation, to-be model of IT organization was designed with job analysis for IT organization redesign, task redesign was performed, and IT organization and personnel was assessed. 1) In task analysis, core activities are identified and 96 standard tasks are drawn. 2) with to-be organization design, IT support, IT delivery, IT operation teams and BuKyoung and Jeju teams were divided. 3) Previous job organization was restructured, IT organization personnel were finally confirmed through FTE and internal review. K public corporation strengthened IT planning task instead of reducing operational IT task, improved IT management process which was lower than other companies, and improved IT outsourcing management system and IT users' satisfactions. This research has practical implications for many companies which struggle with IT organization redesign method and process.

  • 본 연구는 개방화, 탈규제화의추세와 함께 정보기술의 도입으로 인하여 큰 변화를 맞고 있는 이때 변화에 대응하기 위한 바람직한 경영조직의 설계방안을 실증적으로 제시해보고자한다. IT의 조직내 도입 및 확사과정에서 드러나는 조직간 차이를 분석함을 주안점으로 하고 있는 본 연구에서는 이 두가지 시각을 함께 수용하여1) IT의 푸쉬-풀 패러다임을 설정하여 이로부터 설문항목을 도출하고, 2) 각 항목에 대한 표준지표를 설정하고 설문을 작성·배포한 후, 3) 그 응답자료를 분석하여 우리나라 산업조직의 일반적 대응력을 분석함으로서 , 5) 이를 토대로 기업의 바람직한 조직 설계방향을 제시하는등 일련의 연구절차를 구체적으로 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to design an organizational model to improve the operation of the Gimhae Municipal Library through diagnosis and analysis of its organization. For this purpose, a new organizational model for the Library was designed while reconstruction of the human resource of each unit library was proposed according to the reorganization through research methods such as literature research, case study, FGI survey, etc. The organizational model was eventually designed with three alternatives: an organization for integration of related tasks, one for enhancement of policy function and finally one for improvement of administrative efficiency. We have found that it is the most empirical to measure required number of personnel by 'comparison of benchmarked local governments' method as a result of calculating the required number of staffs of the Library based on macro and micro approach; thus the appropriate number of staff of each unit library was worked out.

  • The study acknowledges the importance of philosophical basis such as paradigms and epistemology in knowledge organization system development. The study aims at providing implications of Rorty's neo-pragmatism on knowledge organization system development. The study discussed Rorty's main concepts - Anti-Dualism, Languages, Ethnocentrism, and Solidarity, and further how these elements are utilized in system design. The study focuses on philosophical basis, knowledge organization system development approach, and methodology. It has values in that it provides implications for other philosophical discussions to be applicable to knowledge organization.

  • 본 논문에서는 기업과 정부의 다양한 조직체계를 반영하고 워크플로우의 현실적/효율적 운영관리 및 여러 복잡한 직책에 의해 발생하는 복잡성 해결을 위해 적합한 접근제어 모델인 역할기반 접근제어(RBAC: Role Based Access Control)를 이용한 워크플로우 조직 관리 시스템에 관하여 기술하고 설계한다. 역할 기반 워크플로우 조직 관리 시스템은 앞으로 매우 성장 가능성이 높은 시장을 형성할 것으로 예상되며 다양한 조직체계를 반영하는 데 적합한 접근제어 모델이다. 현재 기업, 정부, 공공기관 등의 서로 다른 조직체계에 워크플로우를 적용하게 되는 경우 조직관리 시스템은 워크플로우 시스템에 있어서 필수 컴포넌트로 자리 잡고 있지만 기존 조직관리 시스템들은 보안문제나 동적인 조직의 관리에 문제점을 갖고 있는것이 사실이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 "역할 기반 접근 제어"라고 하는 RBAC(Role-Based Access Control)의 기본 개념과 워크플로우 엔진과 역할기반의 워크플로우 조직관리 시스템간의 관계에 따른 역할기반 워크플로우 조직 관리 시스템을 제안, 설계한다.

  • This study explored the police organizational health diagnosis index development. and the ultimate purpose of this study is to suggest the ways for the police to develop the police organizational health diagnosis index and then to raise the organizational effectiveness. A police organizational health diagnosis index comprises three categories; Organizational Behavior, Group Behavior, and Individual Behavior. A Organizational Behavior questionnaire comprises five categories; Organizational Structure, Organizational atmosphere, Environmental Compliance, Transformational Leadership, and Communication & decision-making. Secondly, A Group Behavior questionnaire comprises five categories; How to manage the personnel, Conflict management style, Group cohesion, Vision and Strategy, and Community-oriented & shared responsibility. Thirdly, An Individual Behavior questionnaire comprises five categories; Job Motivation, work-related factors, Trust, Vitality, and Organizational Cynicism. This author expects this study to contribute to the development of an adequate measuring instrument of the police organizational health diagnosis index.

  • Web 기반 시스템 구축시 저렴한 구축비용, 표준화된 문서환경, 클라이언트를 통일하지 않고도 어플리케이션의 구현이 가능한 장점 때문에 인터넷 프로토콜인 TCP/IP와 HTTP를 기반으로 시스템을 구축하려는 기업과 조직이 늘고 있다. 본 논문에서는 web 환경에서 시스템 구축시 적용할 수 잇는 web 기반 시스템 분석/설계 모형을 제안한다. 기존의 web 어플리케이션 개발 방법들이 데이터 분석에 기초를 둔 것과는 달리, 기업과 조직이 가지는 기능을 중심으로 web 어플리케이션을 분석하고, 파악된 기능에서 pageflow를 설계하여 사용자의 요구사항과 조직의 처리가 반영된 page와 네비게이션 경로(navigation path)를 설계할 수 있는 모형을 제시한다.
