A Study of the Organizational Factors of Knowledge Management, CRM System Factors, and Trust for CRM Performances (지식경영의 조직요인, CRM의 시스템요인, 신뢰가 CRM의 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • In recent studies, there has been much interest in knowledge sharing between the company and customer. Yet, there is little empirical work on the impact of the factors on CRM performances. The purpose of this study is empirically analyzing the effects of organizational factors of knowledge management, CRM system factors, and trust on CRM performances. The findings indicate that 3 factors (knowledge-oriented organizational culture/characteristic, technical systems, trust) are significantly related to CRM performances. However, the relationships between other factors (knowledge-oriented leadership, knowledge-oriented strategy, education & reward) and CRM performances are not significant.

Managing Resistance and Change: Paradox in IS Implementation (저항과 변화의 관리: IS 도입의 패러독스)

  • As information systems are implemented in business organizations, users and other stakeholders are known to resist changes incurred by information systems being implemented. For successful implementation, it is critical to manage changes overcoming resistance. Through literature review and expert panel, this study derives four underlying dimensions of resistance (anxiety, suspicion, imposition and self-centeredness) and five categories of change management activities (vision, leadership, communications, education and training, and organizational culture). A Survey was designed to measure the relationship between these dimensions and activities, and administered among information systems consultants. It is found that activities related to vision and leadership is underpinning other change management activities. Anxiety and imposition can be mitigated by education and training while suspicion is to be overcome by communications and self-centeredness by activities related to cultural changes. Implications are discussed and further researches are suggested.

  • From natural disasters such as floods, heavy rains, and strong winds and social disasters such as 911 U.S. terrorism and cyber attacks that could have a fatal impact on corporate continuity, it is necessary to introduce and implement a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) within a firm to maintain continuity of business and to change the organizational structure for an emergency state in order to operate and manage it systematically and efficiently. therefore, this study analyzed and verified the impact of introducing a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) on the change in the recognition structure of an organization in four categories, including personal recognition, organizational culture, organizational structure, and organizational strategy, in order to analyse the impact and effect of introducing a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) on the change in the recognition structure of each category. through this study, we believe that the introduction of a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) within a firm could effectively change the organization's perception of an emergency state and help it maintain its continuity as well as improve its value.

  • 오늘날 기업에서의 IT 는 급격한 비즈니스 환경의 변화와 다양한 비즈니스 모델의 출현으로 인해 점점 더 복잡해지고 있고, 비즈니스의 IT 의존도 또한 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 기업의 정보시스템을 운영하는 IT 운영조직은 사용자에게 IT 서비스의 품질향상과 비즈니스의 연속성을 보장할 수 있는 지원체계를 필요로 하고 있다. 1990년대 후반에 들어서 ITIL 을 기반으로 한 ITSM 개념이 국내에 도입 되면서 기존의 콜센터와 헬프데스크를 통한 IT 서비스지원 방식을 서비스데스크로 통합하게 되었고, 서비스데스크 자동화 시스템의 도입을 통해 기업의 모든 비즈니스 조직의 IT 와 관련된 요구사항을 관리하고 있다. 하지만 이러한 서비스데스크 자동화 시스템은 IT 서비스 제공자 관점에서 구축되었고 운영방향 또한 어플리케이션, 서버, 네트워크 등 기술적인 구성요소의 성능 향상에만 초점을 두었기 때문에 현업 사용자들이 만족 할 수 있는 실질적인 수준의 서비스 개선은 이루어지지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 고객관점에서의 요구사항 분석을 통해, 운영조직의 IT 서비스 요청에 대한 처리활동을 단순처리와 일반처리로 분류하고 이를 자동화 시스템에 반영 하였고, 실제 A 사(社)의 IT 운영조직에 적용하여, 비효율적인 저부가가치 활동과 고부가 가치의 활동이 시스템을 통해 분류가 가능함을 보였다. 아울러 IT 운영조직의 활동을 정량적으로 관리 할 수 있도록 관리지표를 발굴하고 자동화 시스템의 서비스요청관리 프로세스에 적용하여 IT 서비스를 제공받는 회사의 관리조직과 경영층이 IT 운영조직의 활동을 정량적으로 관리하고 측정할 수 있는 IT 서비스데스크 자동화 시스템의 개선모델을 제시 하였다.

  • We explored the relationship between the level of change awareness and deployment of software process improvement (SPI) approaches using a competing values framework. To measure awareness level of organization's change, we used DICE framework provides means for predicting the outcome of change management initiatives. The four factors for organizaton's change: duration, integrity, commitment, and effort are evaluated and a score is calculated. The DICE(R) score is used to classify projects into win, worry, or woe zones. In this paper, we apply the DICE(R) score as an independent variable to predict the outcome of a software process improvement. Our results indicated that the Organization have a higher chance of success have the better outcome in software process improvement.

사회복지 지식공유에 영향을 주는 요인과 조직성과에 관한 연구 - 부산광역시 내 사회복지담당공무원을 중심으로

  • 현대는 지식사회이다. 이는 사회복지영역에서도 예외일 수 없다. 사회복지영역에서 지식의 중요성은 이미 오래 전에 합의되었다. 그렇지만 ICT(Information Communication Technology)의 급격한 발달은 사회복지영역에서도 적지 않은 논의를 불러일으켰다. 본 연구에서는 10의 영향은 이미 전제되어있는 상태에서 변화된 조직 관리를 실증적으로 파악하고자 하였다. 사회복지가 사회의 구조적이고 파생적 문제해결에 중심을 둔 실천과학이라는 정체성을 획득하고자 하는 단초적 시도로서 지식관리가 필요하다는 전제하에, 지식관리 중 지식공유를 중심으로 연구를 진행시켰다. 즉 사회복지영역에서 이루어지는 지식공유는 어느 정도이며, 그 결과는 어떤 조직적 성과를 산출하고, 또 이러한 지식공유에 영향을 주는 전제 조건은 무엇인지를 부산광역시 사회복지담당공무원을 중심으로 파악하였다. 지식공유 관련 요인을 11개의 요인으로 재구성하여 이를 구성요인별로 나누어 분석한 결과, 동료관계 망, 보상, 상부관계, 조직 규범, 의사소통 둥의 조직 환경이 지식공유와 조직성과에 큰 영향을 주고 있으며, 특히 조직성과에 미치는 직접적 영향력 보다 지식공유를 고려한 상태의 전체 영향력이 강하게 나타나 지식공유가 조직성과에 직접적인 영향을 주고 있었다. 이에 사회복지 조직에서 조직성과를 높이는 지식공유를 원활하게 할 수 있는 환경 조성의 노력과 아울러 추후과제로서 여타 사회복지 기관에서의 지식관리 관련 연구가 필요하다.

Analyzing the Relationship between Dynamic Capability of Project-Based Organization and the Competitive Advantage in the E&C Companies (프로젝트 조직의 동적역량과 건설기업 경쟁우위와의 상관관계 분석)

  • Since the beginning of a new century, many Korean construction and engineering companies are facing a very dynamic and fast changing business environment which includes severe competition, higher risk, economic depression, declining revenues and profits, etc. In order to cope with these challenges, they need to secure special capabilities to actively adapt to the paradigm changes. One of those capabilities could be project management capability which allows us to manage organizational resources dynamically and integratively based on project portfolio management concept. The objective of this study is to investigate how the dynamic capability of a project-based organization to control the resource affects the firm performance and the competitive advantages. Data was collected from the construction and engineering companies in South Korea by using survey questionnaire, and analyzed for empirical tests by using statistical methods such as structural equation modelling and path analysis. The results showed that the organizational resources, if they had the VRIN characteristics, would have positive impacts on creating the dynamic capabilities for project organization. In turn, the dynamic capabilities of a project organization would have impacts on improving business performance and creating competitive advantages. Also, it was found that the organizational resources may have direct impact on business performance and competitive advantages. The academic contribution of this study is that it attempts to integrate resource based view and the dynamic capability theory about creating competitive advantages for project based organization. This study also provided practical implications to the companies in construction industry by showing how to use organizational resources strategically to create competitive advantages.

  • Management of social infrastructure has been advanced from facility management (FM) to asset management (AM), which adopts the aggressive and proactive methods in predicting the deterioration of infrastructure, prevents failures, and eventually saves maintenance cost. Infrastructure asset management is not a simple engineering technique, but it is a new paradigm evolved from facility management practices. To implement the infrastructure asset management successfully, organizational reform is very important. This paper suggests critical success factors and key performance indicators to implement the infrastructure asset management for facility managers of government owned social infrastructures such as roads and bridges. Reorganizing the facility management group requires new vision, objectives, strategies for the paradigm-changing asset management. This paper uses Balanced Score Card (BSC) which is a proven method in measuring and setting new objectives for an organization. Once the performance indicators are reviewed repeatedly by facility managers through experts workshops, developed BSC can be used in practice. This paper discusses the development of robust BSC scoring method through in depth literature reviews and investigation of asset management practices of domestic and international cases.

  • 환경의 급격한 변화속에서 혁신할 수 있는 조직의 능력이란 조직의 생존을 의미한다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구에서는 최근에 총체적인 혁신전략으로서 각광 받고 있는 학습조직이론을 도서관조직의 새로운 혁신기법으로 제시하고자 한다. 즉, 본 연구에서는 학습조직의 개념정립과 학습조직 등장의 시대적 배경, 그리고 학습조직의 구축요소와 구축단계와 함께 최근의 학술도서관의 재조직 경향과 학습조직이론간의 관련성에 대해 논하고 있다. 단, 본 연구는 앞으로 전개될 경험적 연구의 기초로서 개념의 변별 타당도 확보 차원의 이론 연구라고 할 수 있으면, 앞으로 다양한 학습조직 구축방법 등을 활용하여 실제로 도서관들을 진단하고 이들을 학습조직으로 전환시키는 사례연구들이 뒤따라야 할 것이다.

  • Korea companies have been faced with the demand of environmental changes abroad by suffering Economic Crisis at 1997. In fact, these demand that modern firms are in the keen struggles for existence is the essential condition though of the age of Economic Crisis. Coping with these situation. these companies are making desperate efforts, which are reorganization, renovation, improvement, however, the procedure or the result about these efforts of change have to be checked wisely. That is, the firms have to meet requirement that could enhance their values because organization structure that is not efficient to growth of firms produces a quite contrary result. Such phenomenon is applicable to construction firm as well as limited with partial companies. Therefore, before forming a efficient organization structure, comparing and analyzing the strategy or financial statement according to construction firm, this study will try to grasp a characteristic of organization.
