Characterization of Granular Fertilizer Produced by Fly Ash from a Sewage Sludge Incinerator (하수슬러지 소각 비산재를 이용한 입상비료 조립 및 특성분석)

  • This study assessed feasibility of making granular fertilizer with fly ash from a sewage sludge incinerator in Korea. Composition, characteristics, strength, and heavy metal contents of the granular fertilizers were investigated. Due to its high contents of phosphorus, fly ash from a sewage sludge incinerator could be used to make fertilizers. Granulation rates (2-4 mm granules) over 80% could be achieved as the fly ash contents were 15% or less of the fertilizer. Leaching tests of the fertilizers, based upon the Korean Standard Methods for Solid Wastes, showed the concentrations of heavy metals less than the risk limits. However, contents analysis of the fertilizers, based upon the Korean Standard Methods for Soils, experienced higher levels of heavy metals than the risk limits as the fly ash content exceeded 7% of the fertilizer. Thus, the fly ash needs to be added less than 7% of the fertilizer if there is no pretreatment to remove heavy metals.

Applicability estimation for cable assembling method of shield tunnel using field test construction (현장 조립 시험시공을 통한 쉴드터널 강연선 체결 기술의 적용성 평가)

  • In this study, the new segment assembling method using cable tensible force was developed to improve the problem of bolt assembling method of shield tunnel. In the field test construction, cable assembling method reduced the assembling time of segment in comparison with bolt assembling method because of guide role of segment shear-key. In the result of measuring the necessary time for segment assembling process, it took 420sec to assemble one segment in bolt method and 400sec to assemble one segment in cable method, but in case of using the cable automatic feeder, it could reduce the necessary time as 60sec in comparison with bolt assembling method. The cable automatic system modeling using BIM, that connected shield TBM also will be utilized in the area of design TBM, excavation plan, method process understanding, construction management and so on.

Parallel Clustering Algorithm for Balancing Problem of a Two-sided Assembly Line (양측 조립라인 균형문제의 병렬군집 알고리즘)

  • The two-sided assembly line balancing problem is a kind of NP-hard problem. This problem primarily can be solved metaheuristic method. This paper suggests parallel clustering algorithm that each left and right-sided workstation assigned by operations with Ti = c* ± α < c, c* = ${\lceil}$W/m*${\rceil}$ such that M* = ${\lceil}$W/c${\rceil}$ for precedence diagram of two-sided assembly line with total complete time W and cycle time c. This clustering performs forward direction from left to right or reverse direction from right to left. For the 4 experimental data with 17 cycle times, the proposed algorithm can be obtain the minimum number of workstations m* and can be reduce the cycle time to Tmax < c then metaheuristic methods. Also, proposed clustering algorithm maximizes the line efficiency and minimizes the variance between workers operation times.

Consideration of Cement Mineral Production Amount and Microstructure Chemical Distribution of Cement Clinker Using Coal Ash and Coarse Limestone (석탄재와 조립 석회석을 적용한 시멘트 클링커의 시멘트 광물생성량과 미세구조의 화학성분 분포 고찰)

  • By applying coarse-grained limestone and unprocessed coal ash as sintering raw materials for cement clinker, the microstructure and distribution of chemical components of cement clinker were compared and examined. Samples using coarse limestone as a raw material for cement clinker showed a decrease in sinterability compared to samples using reagent-grade raw materials. Samples using coal ash showed a tendency for some increase in sinterability. In samples using coarse limestone and coal ash, the formation of Belite was high at 1350 ℃. The conversion rate from Belite to Alite was high in the range of 1350~1450 ℃. Samples using coal ash showed stable formation of interstitial phase in the range of 1350 to 1450 ℃. The microstructure and chemical composition distribution of cement clinker sintered at 1350~1450 ℃ showed that all samples showed a form and composition distribution in which the calcium silicate phase and interstitial phase were clearly distinguished.

  • The bonding process should be achieved in vacuum environment to avoid air bubble. In this study, we studied about pressure uniformity that became an issue in thermo compression bonding usually. Uniform press is realized by the method that use air spring and metal form spring. The concept of uniform press using air spring is removed except pressing direction in the press processing so angle between the vector of pressure surface and the pressure axis is parallel automatically. Air spring compensate the errors of machining and assembly. Metal form compensate the thermal deformation and flatness error.

  • The block assembly process takes more than half of the total shipbuilding processes. Therefore, it is very important to have a practically useful block assembly process planning system which can build plans of maximum efficiency with minimum man-hours required. However, the process plans are often not readily executable in the assembly shops due to severe imbalance of workloads. This problem arises because the process planning is done on block by block basis in current practice without paying any attention to the load distribution among the assembly shops. this paper presents the development of an automated hull block assembly process planning system which results in the most effective use of production resources and also produces plans that enable efficient time management. If the load balance of assembly shops is to be considered at the time of process planning, the task becomes complicated because of the increased computational complexity. To solve this problem, a new approach is adopted in this research in which the load balancing function and process planning function are iterated alternately providing to each other contexts for subsequent improvement. The result of case study with the data supplied from the shipyard shows that the system developed in this research is very effective and useful.

  • 본 논문은 조립과 분리시스템이 혼합된 Fork-and-Join 시스템에서의 일정계획문제를 고려하고 있다. 최초 단계에서는 구성품단위로 분리가 발생하고 두 번째 단계에서는 부품생산단계에서 각 부품 또는 구성품이 서로 다른 설비와 경로를 통해 독립적으로 생산된 후 최종 조립단계로 이동하게 되고, 그곳에서 조립공정을 통해 제품으로 완성된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 Fork-and-Join 시스템에서 최종완료시간(makespan)을 최소화 할 수 있는 발견적 해법을 제안하고 이 해법의 최악오차한계(worst-case error bound)가 2라는 것을 증명한다. 또한, 제안된 문제의 효과적인 3가지 하한값(lower bound)을 제시하고 다양한 수치실험을 통해 제안된 발견적 해법의 결과와 하한값과의 비교를 통해 제안된 해법이 성능이 우수함을 증명한다.

  • 크랭크 샤프트 디플렉션 측정은 선박엔진의 조립공정에 있어, 크랭크 샤프트를 조립 시 1회전의 상태에서 크랭크 스루 간의 디플렉션 상대값의 변화를 확인하는 것이다. 이를 통하여 크랭크 샤프트가 정상 조립되었는지 확인할 수 있다. 기 개발 완료한 구형 무선 크랭크 샤프트 디플렉션 측정장치(상품명 : Measutal)는 측정장치의 길이로 인해 선박용 엔진 중 저속 엔진에만 적용 가능하였다. 하지만 중속엔진의 경우 공간이 협소하여 크랭크 샤프트 디플렉션 측정이 어려우며, 이는 폭정 오차를 수반하게 된다. 본 논문은 상기 문제를 해결하기 위해 중속에도 적용 가능한 신 모델의 개발에 관한 것이다. 또한 개발된 신 모델은 소비자의 요구를 만족하기 위해 구 모델에 비하여 밧데리 지속시간 향상되었고 무선 통신 거리가 확대되었다.

  • 강화플라스틱(FRP)이 가진 저비용 장점에 비하여 화재 및 환경오염 문제가 대두됨에 따라서 알루미늄 소형 선박에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다. 알루미늄 재질의 선박 건조에도 절단, 성형, 용접 및 조립의 과정이 필요하지만, 소형 선박에는 박판이 사용되기 때문에 일반 강선과는 다른 공법 및 가공 조립법이 사용된다. 본 기사는 알루미늄 재료의 절단 공법, 용접 공법의 현황과 미래 기술 방향을 정리하였다. 또한 성형 공정의 문제점과 이를 위한 개선 방안을 제시함으로써 알루미늄 선박의 건조 생산성 향상 및 정도 관리의 편의성을 위한 방안을 모색하고자 한다.

  • 우리는 기존의 현장몰드방식의 TMJ(Tape Molded Joint)와 부품조립방식 의 PJ(Prefabricated Joint) 보다 조립시간과 숙련도가 덜 필요한 고무몰드접속함을 탄성 및 우수한 절연특성을 가진 silicone 고무를 사용하여 조립공정과 절연특성, 탄성특성, 계면특성, 열적 특성 등을 연구하여 개발에 성공하였다. 고무 몰드 접속함은 실리콘 재료의 우수한 탄성에 의해 동일 케이블의 다양한 size에 적용이 가능하다.
